  • It's sad that a story like this takes so long to be told. People like Private William Summers is such a rare breed that there is only one word that sums it all up. HERO! This man could have just thought of himself and tried to get himself home to his own family but instead did everything possible to make sure that an ally soldier would go home to be with his wife and a daughter he held only once. R.I.P. Private William Summers.

    • @@janreznak881 We, the U.S. almost stayed out of it too long. WWII was everyone's business if you wanted it to be or not. How's your German anyways? Even though the Allies eventually won the war, todays world we live in is because of Germany. Lucky for the U.S. we got their smartest scientists, over 300 of them. Imagine if we minded our business in the 1940's and Russia got all those scientists. Do you think it would be better or worse? In the 1940's the U.S. was trying to stay out of Europe's business and war but on that one day on Dec.7, 1941 Pearl Harbor was attacked by the Imperialism of Japan. That's what happens when you mind your business. If Japan doesn't attack I believe we would be speaking any other language but English. Also if the U.S. had became a member of the League Of Nations after WWI maybe WWII wouldn't had happened. At that time, we were minding our own business. I now have been living in Europe for the last three years and it's a beautiful continent. It was worth fighting for.

  • Can understand the young Brits hesitance to fight, they were regular people and the human default is never to kill another, unless it is absolutely necessary. The American was however a seasoned professional and saw his share of destruction, so in his determination passing the baton onto his comrade is what makes this story so important!!!

  • Good effort for a low budget I presume... Excellent!... liked your cinematography and the fighting scenes. I wanna encourage you to keep going. Some constructive critique.. I am not sure what the British girl was doing there... The one in a fighting man's uniform who didn't know how to use a gun and spent most of the time cowering.... though he ran well. I couldn't wait long enough to see if he had grown some balls. It was too nauseating. Thats the script I don't much like I guess. But you have talent. Keep it up. It was only the reluctant soldier that got to me. Being from a British commonwealth country I tend to know we are made of better stuff than that. Cheers. 😉

History keeps repeating but as human we never learn. To all those who lost their lives in war may u have a safe life in ur after life. Cruelty of war is too much to bear, only who lost dear ones knows the inexplicable pain n empitness u fell longing for them.
