Friendly Friday evening run during WITW24, don’t mind any breathing or excessive wind noise as I don’t have an external mice setup yet. Just having some fun with a Mk8 GTI, only mods being H&R Springs and an XForce exhaust. to you how much different or rather dialed does the car feel with springs vs without?
It’s a night and day difference honestly. Before it felt sloshy and prone to understeer in all modes. Now it feels much more planted. There’s a huge difference too between comfort and sport mode, with sport mode being nice and stiff with very minimal body roll. Comfort feels exactly like factory in terms of comfort, but also with reduced body roll. I’d say to perfect the rotation it would require a rear sway bar, which I have a 034 one waiting to be put on. But springs alone it woke the car up drastically
