Driving assists (cameras, traction control, stability control, lane keep assist, blind spot monitoring, automatic braking assist) are only there to attempt to compensate for people's inability to safely & skillfully operate a motor vehicle. As people get dumber, automakers will have to compensate by making safer & smarter cars.

      @holyravioli5795@holyravioli57954 жыл бұрын
    • I learned it the analog way and never hit anything. If they put the damn screen in the rear instead i would probably use it. New tech isn't always better. Regular parking (not those fancy 360°) cameras have huge blind spots and the driver is focused on a screen in the front. Lane Keep assists are bad too imo - Drivers get more and more lazy to lanechange. They just put Lanekeep and Cruisecontrol on and camp the middle lane with 100-120kph all day. Thats bad. At least here in Germany where people drive 160+ very often.

  • I like how he backed up without looking at the camera at all. Then you are the screen and he's got like 3 things open on top of the camera window.

  • I love how he says " I'm doing the legal speed" Then 2 sec later tries to blur the speed because he's doing 77mph

  • Has a 50-inch screen showing him the reverse camera "moves head frantically from side to side and tries in utter panic to see his way through the side mirrors and back windshield .."

    • Are "topGear" members trying to give bad light to tesla again? last time they test drove the first tesla they lied by acting like the tesla stoped working all of a sudden. The script was even found where they wrote the tesla stoped working all a sudden and couldn't finish reviewing it. anyone else remember? kzhead.info/sun/hceYcZdsfmiLdK8/bejne.html Topgear was basically paid off by large automobile manufacturers to make tesla look bad. i dont blame Richard Hammond i just blame top gear of who evers on top of that. shady practices.

  • I noticed Richard reversing the Tesla @4:00 using his mirrors and never once glancing at the screen for the reversing camera. I assume the big Tesla screen works better than 2017 Highlander Ltd because I can never see the screen because of reflections and flare. So a year of owning the car, and I rarely use the screen either. Unless it is dark when the screen works OK.
