  • The fact that they weren’t actually related at all and the dad was suffering from a painful illness but protected the baby, and after he died the baby groomed and tried to wake up the dad 😭 this relationship is better than some human ones, so I don’t want to hear anybody say cats are heartless - I’m going to immediately show them this video!

    • На самом деле у кошек не бывает такой привязанности к родителям, тем более к отцу. Маленький котёнок ещё может тянуться к маме, потому что она его кормит, вылизывает и т.п. А кошачий отец... Обычно коты его и не знают. Да, может, это и не отец, а просто дохлый кот. Может просто котику жалко погибшего товарища. Эмпатия у животных ещё бывает.

    • @@luckyrabbit5168 You can always help. Call someone else, find them a way to a shelter, give them water and a bite of meat by their outside home. Anything helps, even just water and a bit of whatever food you have on hand in an emergency like this. A bite or two of your food is quite a lot for a cat. Just make sure it doesn’t have any garlic or onions or chocolate bc that’s dangerous for them to eat. Even just putting a bowl of water outside can help save lives of animal friends.

  • damn, this really hits close to home man.. i had a single father all my life & he got lung cancer/cirrhosis when i was 15. he had to raise me on his own and worked everyday as a brick mason (bringing oxygen tank to work) until he physically couldn't anymore & passed shortly after.. he was the greatest, most loving man i've ever known. bless that daddy cat, no more pain & at peace like my dad.. i hope the kitten finds a loving home.

    • @@Nugget_From_Space because of they put themselves above animals. Birds, mammals both have emotions, lizards have some but are primitive. Fish feel pain and stress but not much else, insects only feel sensory stimuli. Anything plant, microbe, etc doesn't feel much more. So as you can see we all have different levels of sensitivity and emotions. Humans have the best and most advanced, but animals still feel regardless. They don't always know what they feel but they feel it. So sadness for a cat and humans is the same but we have a better understanding. But this results in the cat having to suffer from not know what to do.

  • He was the kitten’s protector and best friend. I’ve never seen a cat grieve before, only dogs. Very sad little furball. We know so little about how they bond with each other.
