In the midst of the NHL Playoffs, the boys welcome pod favourite Brad Eurich to talk all about the Toronto Maple Leafs and their struggles against the Bruins in Round 1. Josh's main focus of discontent is the poor play from Mitch Marner as he's pulled another disappearing act in the playoffs. Brad brings up the possibility of Leafs Coach Sheldon Keefe not having the right players to build a winning culture and whether his time is up with the organization, should the Leafs lose to the Bruins.

How the F do players not get evaluated on what they do in the PLAYOFFS? That's the only time your skills matter. They really need to have a system of payment based on your performance in the playoffs. His stats in the post-season are worse than Rileys, whos A) DEFENSE and B) Not Making 11 MILLION! WTF

They should be forced to sit and watch the 93 playoffs over and over. Those guys died on the ice and when they were eliminated it was simply because they were beat by a better team and a few breaks going the wrong way. This team can't hold a candle to that one..

This leafs team is no different than last year's club against Florida. Up against a playoff ready team who plays physical, fights for the puck along the boards . The leafs fluff four decide not to compete. The team issue is with those four players. That's where all the money is invested

Is it afraid that if opponents knew a player’s exact injury, they will target that particular body part through slashing/cross-checking? We don’t know why Willy Mr. Playoff Nylander missed the first three games? Was it due to a stomach flu, fractured wrist, what??

Think about it. There are two seasons - regular and playoffs. In which does MLSE make their money? Marner is excellent in the regular season. He will get a good raise based on his regular season performance.
Mitchy is too f---ing SOFT, period! Trade him in the off season. The Leafs, should get at least 2-3 quality players in return. Papi has found his line mates, Bert and Dom's, a very effective line!

Check the stats of post-season play for Marner over the last 3 years. RILEY should not have more points than Marner. If you can't perform when it matters most, what's the point? The point is to win the cup. Marner will never win a cup. His team might with him sitting on the bench/injured.

I agree Marner is not a physical player. He has good hockey sense. Marner is more of a setup man. Was to Tavaras and now Mathews. Marner set up the Knies goal. He plays on the pp and pk. If your a Leaf fan then you have seen him block shot after shot while on the pk. This is more than a Mitch Marner problem.
The series isn't over yet, I hope that with the return of Nylander Marner will break out.

@downbytwo Stat wise, he's been our best playoff performer. Stat wise, he was our best performer last year. He hasn't been good so far. I will definitely admit that. But his line is also holding one of the best goal scorers to one goal so far this series
There are definitely plays that don’t show up on the stat sheet that he does which helps a lot more than he’s given credit for. But to say he was our best performer last year is a bit much. And also, that’s last year.
