What is a spoiled ballot paper?
The next UK local elections are being held on May 6th. We’ve already covered how casting your ballot gives you a say in how your region is run.
Filling in your ballot properly ensures that your vote is counted, but what happens if you don’t fill in your ballot properly? This is known as a spoiled ballot
In this video, we cover some of the reasons that your ballot might be rejected and why intentionally spoiling your ballot is used by many as a way of having your dissatisfaction recorded.

First! Also honestly thank you for explaining *WHY* a spoiled ballot is better than not voting. Spoiler alert: It gets counted, and if enough spoiled ballots take a percentage of the results, politicians will know that they've done goofed.
Enough of them can make a change! 'no of the above' is the scariest thing any politician can see because is tells them we have no faith in their system.
Morally, Legally, Peacefully AND Democratically. Ending ALL 'PARTY' Political fanaticism. People Politics: People speaking entirely their own views, without fear of career-ransom.
I did a spoiled ballot vote this past election! I voted for all of them and write ins as well. I could care less about voting
