  • Love the pvp shorts, especially the cosplays. These videos also teach two things... 1. The counters to meta or maidenless builds are memes 2. The only way to counter a meme is to get a bigger hammer, and meme harder

    • I'm starting to find a lot of counters are things we didn't think of but should have been obvious all along. Like the guy with the Fingerprint there -- Fingerprint shield-poking is an obvious counter to RoB because it's a shield that actually does heavily mitigate statuses. But also, Thunderbolt's Blessing specifies that it causes weapon bounce, making it an obvious counter to Fingerprint shield-poking which can only use one-handed attacks while the shield stays up.

    • @@BlueShellshock I agree completely. One thing I have also found helpful are true knockdowns, such as wrath of gold, giant's flame, and taker's flame. There are a lot of bull goat armor users that rely on being able to tank through your hit to hit you with RoB or dual bleed weapons. Also, if you have seen the tohou build video, I will absolutely advocate golden land as a top notch faith ash of war. If it caches a poorly timed charge, it can melt health bars. Honestly though, memes introduce variety and more variety catches maidenless players off guard and promotes a wider array of builds to encounter in friendly pvp.
