I know it's definitely a thing content creators do on a regular basis, but it's still nice hearing someone genuinely thanking us for our support. Haven't watched any style theory yet, but I just might once there's a couple more videos to binge. Stay safe everybody, and to MatPat and everyone else who helped make these videos possible: thank you for the effort you've put in to all these videos. They're greatly appreciated.

  • 12:29 I know, old video, but whatever Fun fact, I live in one of those dry counties (or maybe it's considered a mixed county, but we call it a dry county). You can't buy alcohol anywhere in this county and there are no bars, but restaurants are allowed to serve alcohol (some places exist here that are basically bars, but they get around the restriction by some loopholes... not exactly sure how the loopholes works, probably by how much food they serve, but they do exploit loopholes) But it isn't hard to buy some alcohol to bring home... You just have to go to the next county over, which isn't a dry county, and there is literally a liquor store right off the highway exit as you enter that county coming from the biggest city in my county, which I live in...

For example the watermelon is a fruit that doesn't grow on trees and is also a berry. Why? - Can you copyright a dish? Can you be arrested for making a copyright dish? - The truth about the food pyramid. Apparently it has some updates now. - Food and its carbon footprint. How can we reduce it and which food has the least footprint? - Can you really eat anything you want as long as you exercise?

If you wanna be healthy, you have to do both

Stress, depression, anxiety, so on and so forth have been rapidly growing and spreading problems for decades now as the world becomes more and more "woke," if thats a good way to describe whats happening, at least. While there are still currently way too many sides of modern society that wont allow for it completely take hold quite yet, 3-4 generations down the road and who knows what the world will be like

    • Yeah that's quite accurate. East Asia, particularly China, was at it's height during Postclassical Times(gunpowder, metallurgy, productive government and strong and military), and dar al-Islam continued to expand while making discoveries in math, science, and astronomy. Meanwhile, in the Americas, the Incas established a huge empire near the Andes Mountains while the Aztecs established the Aztec Empire in central America. So in reality, the "Dark Ages" weren't really all that dark. It's just that little was documented during that time in Europe, and the region was decentralized.

  • I would also like to add that these coffee houses often had rampant tobacco use as well, as it acts as a stimulant, so while coffee was in large part to thank for the enlightenment, tobacco was as well and everyone from the lowest serf to an arch-duke and some kings used tobacco extensively, not to mention we "found" coffee in Europe after the Ottoman Turks attacked Austria and they retaliated. This has been my TED talk.
