I miss this ESPN scoreboard.
Me too and I miss the 2010-2013 bottom line
I was a big fan of 2007-09 scoreboard also. One now is tacky tbh.
Facts
Me too
I would like the scoreboard if they would add the team logo
Imaging being at this game, wild as hell. I bet the parties after we’re even better lol
I was there, after the pick 6 in the 4th quarter, the energy completely drained out of the stadium. People stopped cheering and started to leave. Then they showed a fans holding a sign on the big screen, it said "We are going to win". The energy picked up again and baylor started scoring again. It was definitely an experience i'll never forget
@@matthewmccurry1 dude I was there too! We come from Kansas so we were expecting a game, but then Petty threw the pick six and everyone near us started leaving. But we always stay just in case. We were super happy that it ended that way. I couldn’t talk for like 2 days after Bc I yelled so much
I was there. My Freshman year of College and the craziest football game ive ever seen. Miss that Baylor team. Got a pic with Shock Linwood after too
@@joshnunez5265 shock Linwood is the man
the parties after were nuts bro. best football game i’ve ever been to hands down
Other than the 2006 Rose Bowl, this is probably the best college football game that did not feature either a ACC, SEC, or big 10 team.
2016 Tech vs OU
@@chancealexander8359 That was a better game in my opinion, but didn't have the same national implications.
Baylor had nearly 800 yards of offense in this game. Let that sink in. Eight...hundred...freaking...yards!!!
I think Houston had over 1,000 in 1 game
@@AndersonNorden True, but that was against a horrible SMU team in 1989. Baylor did it against a good defense.
@@blake7871 cool also they had 700 passing yards
@@AndersonNorden Andre Ware was the QB. Won the Heisman that year.
@@blake7871 oh petty was a hiesman candidate but jameis said nah nigga 😂
This entire season was just elite. One of the best seasons we’ve had.
back when there was parity in the force
Yes
I'd argue this TCU team is the best team to not have made the playoff. It's a shame they blew this game in the final 10 minutes, because it was so impressive seeing them go on the road and dominate a top 10 team. And then seeing how the routed Ole Miss in the bowl game (an Ole Miss team that beat Alabama I should add) and really stepped up and played their best against their toughest opponents, I'd have loved to see them make it instead of Florida State in retrospect.
They didn't dominate Baylor. Their defense was completely shredded in this game, which is why they lost
Baylor outgained TCU 782-485. How can a team dominate a game and give up almost 800 yards?
Baylor was better that year
@@brentbrown2722 how’d that cotton bowl go for ya?
Ohio State sure appreciated TCU choking
Petty and Boykin: Two QBs you knew wouldn’t do anything at the next level
Mason Tronsor 😂
Complete system QBs who were products of the defense they faced but man they were so fun to watch
watching this live as a baylor fan was the craziest thing i’ve ever seen on tv
Was lookin fo dis cmnt i was so young & we was down so much i didnt think we had a chance to come back & we did we won watchin game live wid my family but to bad everytime we get good our coaches get fired or leave or get trade to nfl smh den we always gotta start ova smh 😴🤦🏽 !!
Love those art briles offenses man always electric
To bad everytime we get good they fire coaches or they leave or trade to nfl den we gotta start all ova smh
Growing up in Texas I wasn’t much of a Baylor fan, but I dated a girl who went to school there. This was the first Baylor game I ever went to. I have the game winning kick uploaded on my channel. It was an amazing game that I’ll never forget
How many players did she get railed by? At a time! 😂🤣🤣
Damn you were before your time on EFT haha
@@jbspecs Yeah that was my game back in the day
@@CDubLDD were it at?
This game cost TCU a chance at a national Title.
Possibly
The game after this one for Baylor cost them a chance at the playoff aswell
The game after this one for Baylor cost them a chance at the playoff aswell
@@lakersfan1026who they play after dis game ?
People talk about TCU being snubbed but ignore them blowing 21 points and a perfect season headed into late December.
Ask Ole Miss fans how they feel about this tcu team
@@austinflanagan6653 Why ask them when you can just ask Michigan State who beat Baylor in Texas.. TCU got exposed by the only playoff contender they faced. That was practically a home game for Baylor and still lost to Michigan State. TCU could’ve played Ohio State close but they also could’ve lost by at least 20.. I’m thinking Ohio State 52-35.
@@kev614 I'd say Virginia tech should have made the playoff. I bet they would've beat Ohio state in 2014, probs like 35-21 lol
@@lukewagenaar757 I’m thinking Ohio State should’ve played TCU in the playoffs. I bet they would’ve beaten them. Probs like 40-28. That’s probably being generous
Im thinking TCU 52, Michigan 45. A Michigan that beat OSU 45, 23. So how about TCU 52, OSU 13?@@kev614
The fact that TCU had their own fans on the top is crazy! It kinda reminds me of the premier league when the away fans have their own spot. Great game!
I remember watching this live. My uncle said it was over. His face when I said Baylor won is something I’ll never forget. Sic Em’
Both are teams that we’re so good but didn’t make the playoffs although Baylor lost to Michigan State but TCU was such a good team
Man I remember watching this games all 22 and seeing how much attention tcu paid to Corey Coleman. Likewise for Baylor paying attention to Kolby Listenbee. Was an absolute track meet!
I remember watching this when I was 8 years old hand's done one of my favorite college games ever I was pulling for Baylor all game to baby
I like tcu, under the radar team with dope uniforms. I like Baylor, under the radar team with amazing uniforms. This game was awesome
You been coming thru wit these classics ‼️
Yeah, this was one of the funnest games I ever watched. They don't show the replay here , but that last PI call on #2 for TCU didn't look like PI at the time when when they showed it. He played the ball and looked like he broke it up but the Ref threw the flag immediately. I wish they would've just let them play on. We could've had OT.
Excuses everytime baylor gets good they fire coach or they leave or trade to nfl smh
Bro Vic coming in clutch with these
I was a student at Baylor when this game happened - it was intense.
Man as a baylor fan and a dallas cowboys fan i was glad that both of my teams had a great season that year but ended heartbroken 😢
I know the defenses both played subpar, but they also both got some stops in. I really think both offenses were just insane
Can’t blame the defenses, 5 top NFL level players to deal with.
One of the coolest college football games ever.
Both these teams were stacked. Would’ve loved to see both have a chance in the cfp.
Bruh you gotta do more of these
Great series
Lol I watched this at Dave and Busters this shit was crazy
I would have loved to be at this game
I've been looking for this game for ages. I watched the end of this one because it interfered with the start of the nascar race that was after it.
What a fucking GAME. Man these were the days.
Why Patterson went for it on fourth down there I don’t know. But on top of that, why try a sideline jump ball?
He figured Baylor had momentum and they would’ve scored even if the ball was pinned deep.
@@KWCline91 Even if that were a good decision, why throw a jump ball near the sideline?
He was counting on a PI call that never came. The refs were calling PI on the defense all game long so he figured they'd give him a first down there but it backfired on him.
Arena football lives !
I said Baylor may run 100 plays-heres 101, TOUCHDOWN!
My mom told me a story about when Baylor won the championship and how they ripped the goal post down and carried it all threw out the campess
I bet the party was crackin in Waco that night! 😂🎉
And they still haven’t won a national championship in football 🤣
This game broke TCU and Patterson. Never ever the same after this
Yes they were lol they finished this season ranked #3 then finished the next season ranked #7, they finished 2017 at like #11. They’ve always been a program you could never predict how good they’ll do.
And where’s the national championship that Baylor football never won? 🤣
do pitt vs syracuse 2016
Tcu and Penn state both have something in common lol
Gosh dang it TCU
Y do u hate that Baylor came back?

defense is nonexistent in this game
Nobody plays defense in big 12 lol
@@XxBonzeD4Kill4xX TCU had a top 10 defense that year, just goes to show how good big 12 offenses are
TexBoy Texas and Oklahoma ranked in the 70s in this years defense 😂
TexBoy big12 don’t play defense lmfao
@@XxBonzeD4Kill4xX Oklahoma is last in the big 12. The big 12 has 4 teams ranked in the top 16 in total defense. The SEC has 2.
