  • Moved to Waco 4 years ago. Loving this small sports crazy city. Baylor basketball, baseball and football. Live about a mile from Midway High School which is a great friday night lights setting. And i can play golf just about year round. Great game Bears!

    • Couple things: Waco is Centrally located so its been a high school playoff destination for years. Baylor program has resurrected itself as a top program in the country. That new sports arena downtown McClane Stadium the future is Waco and Texas. Don't forget about LaVega they are always winning state or coming close.

    • @@seanfloyd4510 Baylor won the big 12 championship with their 3rd string QB. Their 1st string QB just returned for this game and hadn't played in weeks. Injuries are part of the game. It can't rest on one player or its not Baylor's luck, it's Ole Miss's luck and lack of depth. Baylor was a 2 win team last year. No excuses, play like a champ (or don't).

    • Not trying to take this away from Ole Miss, but Bohanon still appears to be injured somewhat from his hamstring injury so I believe it threw off his throwing and his ability to rush. Props to Ole Miss for a nail biting game tho!

  • The New Big 12 is gonna be tough. Just look at how many teams are currently ranked. Cincinnati, Baylor, Oklahoma State, BYU, and Houston. With UCF knocking on the door. Add Iowa State, TCU, West Virginia, Texas Tech, and Kansas State....man. Gonna be an exciting conference.

    • Our QB, Gerry Bohanon, had gotten injured about a month and a half ago and this was his first game back. He had to knock off some rust last night and he’ll definitely have some competition with Blake Shapen for the starting job next season.

    • Turns out you were right about Bernard. He had an interception, 2 sacks, 7 tackles and a fumble recovery yesterday for the Bills. Hadn't been done by a linebacker since 2007 when Brian Urlacher and James Harrison did it.

  • Why didn't this start with JT Woods' interception of Corral? Just as highlight worthy as either of Corral's runs that actually start the video. Corral is a great player and I hope he gets well soon. Doesn't mean you should omit a mistake on his part and a great play on Baylor's part.

  • I was so disappointed in the Ole Miss fans at the game. When Baylor scored the second touchdown making the score 14 Baylor - 7 Ole Miss the Ole Miss fans just gave up and set there silent with scowls on their faces. It was pitiful to watch. A lot of them got up and left the game early when Baylor scored the third touchdown.

  • Ole Miss offensive linemen couldn’t stop Baylor defensive linemen stunts on the pass rush. Nothing fancy just DT attack guard’s outside shoulder while DE goes underneath. I thought Baylor was blitzing because they’re getting to the QB so fast. Just a 4-man rush. Good scheme.

  • Ole MISS QB #7 threw a beautiful pass at 5:27 but the play right after...he didn't recognize the corner blitz n could have gone to the WR immediately and took a sack as the result. He stepped in for Corral and did well in my opinion though

  • You notice Bernard from Baylor is doing a modified throat slash after a sack. I know they cracked down on that in college football a few years ago, so what they do now rather than go across their throat they go across their face mask like they're wiping their mouth off or something it's the same thing it's a throat slash. It doesn't matter in this game I just thought I'd point that out. Just little things you pick up on watching a game.

    • No, what ruined the bowl season was allowing 6-6 (participation trophy) teams to play in bowls. In addition to having the CFP, all bowls have become irrelevant. It was the unintentional consequences. Prior to 1979 there were 12 bowl games. I believe there were 42 games this years and mostly duds.
