The blank for this piece was a piece of crotch wood that displays that beautiful feather where the 2 branches of the tree diverge. I turned this piece and recorded a video to benefit Operation Underground Railroad. Proceeds from this piece will 100% go to them. To hold this piece in your hand is to feel true luxury.
Dimensions are 2 1/4” tall x 4 /2” in diameter. Weight is 9 ounces.

  • Hi 👋, Doug , great looking 👀 bowl, Thank you for sharing your gifted skills, I hope you don’t mind me saying, there has been concerned about polishes, waxes, and finishing compounds et cetera, when left in a uncontrolled environment, they can spontaneously combust. A few months ago, there was somebody over in the USA that nearly lost his workshop do to polishing rags, heating up overnight and catch on fire., And then somebody else done a review on it to show what happens over the course of 24 hours , I think the guy was called bourbonmoth . This was on KZhead , not sure if I spelt it right, might be worth a look, stay safe keep up the great work, Phil from the moulin France.
