What's faster, a moto or downhill mountain bike? Josh Hill came to Monster Energy Pro Downhill at Ride Rock Creek to answer the question with his Stark Varg and Santa Cruz V-10. Watch to the end to see which bike gets the better time.
The bottom section is so tight for the Stark but man he was ripping on both. Those compressions on the stark were HEAVY so good marketing on the bike and components lol
Pretty cool. It would be fun to have an event with teams consisting of a dh bike and motocross bike and score combined times where the dh bikes ride down and the motocross bikes ride up the course Monster's UP N DOWN

He's fast on both but no doubt looks more comfortable on the stark.
Because he is an actual dirt bike rider not a mountain biker😂
Only 15 seconds off the Pro's winning times at that track is pretty damn impressive!

This was awesome I always wondered the time difference! So good
2+ seconds gained being able to quad up the bank near the end and the other 2 seconds were the finish line throttle wheelie. That off camber drop down next to the road had to be so sketchy on the moto with all that brake jack and weight bias! 😂

I have to assume the Stark isn’t as good in all the rocks and chatter because I’d think it’s not meant for that in particular, kinda looked like he was using the throttle to gap over/through that stuff more. Super neat vid
Yea, at the beginning of the video when they showed the rocks I was thinking there’s where his problem will be. Man, those Downhill guys just fly through some bonkers stuff
Hill invents another new X-Games sport. First it was Electric MX-BMX Track-SX (EBSX) and now Electric Moto Downhill racing (DH-EMX).

Throwing a 35lb bike around corners has got to be easier and quicker than a 265lb bike. Now lets watch them race back up the hill and see the results.
