Tim Conway's physical comedy was always so funny!😁
As a theater technician and having worked in live television in the 60's, I can appreciate the amount of work Burnett's episodes brought to my craft. The set alone tells you the work needed to design, fabricate, paint and assemble the set, the wardrobe, the fx/lighting etc. Lots of rehearsal time for shots, camera movements etc, to make sure there were no train wrecks or do-overs at taping or airtime. If I'm not incorrect, I recall her taping. Oh, and other than lighting control, there were no computers involved. Talent on both sides of the camera lens. After the show ended, all that stuff either went to waste or storage for reuse in a coming production. And BTW, Tim and Harvey were comedic geniuses. I'm retired now and have loved every minute in this line of work. Hint to you HSers or undecideds and you like the arts. Try to get into the business AND be supportive of the unions you may end up in.You'll never regret it.

Back when you had family shows. Except when Vicki Lawrence called Tim Conway an a***Ole after the siamese elephant skit. Tim Conway was a great comedian, the rest of the cast were never sure as to what he would do.

Well regardless of that it usually takes nearly nothing to impress a lot of guys in that. A lot of dudes simp and or gush extremely easily. For women you’ve got to be like Brad Pitt to even get a mild compliment from what I’ve seen.

Man some comments nowadays are so weird. Someone dissed on this character and Conway is like the funniest thing on the show and is also funny here. And they complimented Vickie who’s fine here but Conway is clearly the main thing. I think the number of simps ready to gush about women as much as possible at all times must be rising. It’s so odd you nearly never see women being that just aggressively supportive the other way around.
