I have to say he was one of the sweetest, most sunshiny people I've ever been around. He radiates light and joy in a way very few people do and it strikes you instantly. It makes you feel like if you could just be in the same general vicinity he is, nothing could ever be bad in the world. It was remarkable, really.

    • His shifu is Yu Zhanyuan, that’s not a school hon, neither an opera school in western definition, the type of role he studied in Peking Opera requires excellent martial art, normally a Wusheng will need to perform backflip on three piled table, but no one is as good as him. And during the transition period when film is more prevalent than Peking opera, he got chosen as actor. That learning path is unique for Peking opera performer, not everyone in “school” is like that, I’m sorry if this breaks your racist stereotype of China and Chinese educational system tho.

  • even as famous as he is, Jackie Chan is still one of the most underrated actors and directors of all time. it's insane and legendary, some of the things he's been willing to do, for the purpose of entertaining everyone who's willing to watch his movies. I mean, not only did he literally manage to provide a reason to watch Stephen Colbert (for a small portion of the show.. the rest can remain in the garbage aka it can continue *_not_* entertaining people on anti-comedy central)... but through performing actual miracles... Jackie actually made it tolerable and unbiased for once, on top of that! which, just that _alone_ is a feat that *no one* has ever been able to accomplish until now (and more than likely, in fact.. almost certainly, never will again. unless Jackie Chan comes back on of course, but with any luck, the show will have already been canceled for a long time by then!)

  • Jackie is the biggest action hero from Hong Kong that can tell us about how Chinese Opera Schools (even regular Chinese boarding schools) operate. It is vicious.

  • Jackie Chan has a sweet, charming, and humble personality. He is not obnoxious... like some other actors. He would be a loyal friend to the end. Greatest action Star ever. I love you Jackie! 💖#Legend
