    • Browns made TWO game-losing mistakes on that same play/sequence. The video shows first one (the penalty extending the game) but then, with Stafford hurt on the sidelines and the backup QB in the game, the Browns called timeout after seeing the offensive setup, which gave Stafford the time/opportunity to come back into the game for the final play.

  • 2:16 happened in a high school state championship game in Oregon several years ago. With his team down 4 points on the game's final play, the fastest receiver in the state burned the other team's secondary and found himself wide open with no one between himself and the endzone. All he needed to do to win the game was catch the pass, turn around, and run to the endzone--nobody could catch him. The QB found him and hit him with a perfectly targeted pass, BUT HE DROPPED THE BALL! 😧😧😧 (Just a week before, this losing team won their semifinal when their opponent went for a game-winning 2 after a late TD only for the pass to slip right through the receiver's hands.)

  • At 5:29 you can see why that pass was poorly thrown and therefore the guy couldn't catch it. It was good defensive play by the Steeler's TJ Watt. He made the pass go off course just a little.

  • Shouldve added the Texans vs Saints opening MNF game. Came down to the wire. Brees through a hailmary where the reciever fell down untouched with a 2 seconds left in the game. Texans db came over to the reciever and touched him down. Giving the saints enough time to kick a field goal. If the db had left him alone the game wouldve ended and gone to OT. Texans released the DB the next day.

    • Baltimore decisions are debatable. I have no issues with Harbaugh trying to win within regulation and if Baltimore had scored both times, he'd be heralded as a genius. The offensive play calling for those attempted conversions is what sucked and cost the Ravens those games.
