Welcome to my happy place and tour my teardrop camper with me!
My name is Heidi. I am a former deputy sheriff, police officer and flight attendant. When covid hit, I pivoted and decided I wanted to travel more. Join me as I continue life on the road and create my second half.
Thanks so much to Kirsi Uotila, for being a great camera operator for me!

Lovely teardrop that’s the one I would want with the kitchen inside
I love mine inside. I always feel safe. I can watch a movie while I cook or whip out some dance moves. lol It’s just easy.
Thanks for the tour ! I would never have guessed there is so much space in that teardrop. Very nice - safe travels !
They’re really is! I just have to remember where I put stuff.
Hi🌞...thx for the show around.. ..you're an inspiration that it's never too late to create one's dream life on the go!
My pleasure! So many dream it, but get stuck in the “what ifs”. Just dip a toe in and go! Thank you for taking the time to comment. Really appreciate it!
Thanks for sharing your camper with us, I’m learning from you.
🇨🇦 nice set up,thanks for the tour and tips!❤
Thank you! I appreciate the comment!
❤May I ask how tall you are? I am 5'11". It looks like you so much space. I have been debating what kind of trailer I want to pull with my Ford Transit. I know a lot of people talk about minimizing, yet my books and crafting tools make me happy. Why ever would I want to give them up? Books are my best friend and crafting brings me peace. LOL...TMI...I guess.😊
Hello! I am 5’7”. My tab would probably be a tad uncomfortable but there are other brands that would accommodate. Have fun exploring them! I can SO relate about the crafting tools! I brought my Dremel tool and accessories so I could learn to make spoon rings and bracelets while on the road. I love to hunt for vintage silverware. I’d pick your favorite books and absolutely bring them. I’d try to incorporate them into your rig so while lying in bed you see them and smile. I wouldn’t bring a kiln but definitely bring other crafting items. Many nomads bring boxes of paint, yarn, beads. I love to make tiny things and give them away or leave them for people to find… hopefully bringing them unexpected joy. Choose items that make your heart sing and pass along the rest… maybe to a school?
Thank you so much for sharing your camper with us
Wow, what a wonderful tour and trailer. I love that you have found a system that works for your and your pets. Thank you for starting a channel and putting yourself out here. Blessings and Safe travels. 😊
Thank you Anita! I’ve had the channel for awhile and just recently decided to drop the gripping fear. Hoping my info will inspire other folks out there! Blessings to you as well!😊
What a nice video. I love how you utilized as much space as you could in a small trailer. Lots of great space you created. Love your style, Bless you for rescuing your fur baby she’s adorable. 🥰 🐾💕
Thank you! Yes, Miss Susan is a doll! When I rescued her she looked like an older dog. Now that she’s healthy I can see that she’s just a pup about 18 months old. I’m happy to love on her!
She is beautiful ❤️ congratulations 😊
Awe… thank you so much!!!
Lovely design, I really want one of these ☺️
Look for a used one! Many owners sell their used ones here: tab-rv.vanillacommunity.com/categories/-for-sale-new-used-t%40b-s Let me know if you have any questions. I’m happy to help!
It's really useful to see someone who's figured out what works in their setup and learn from them. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful! I’m learning from the folks here as well. It’s a big circle😊🙏🏻
I don't know if anyone asked this question yet but where did you get that cute jumper you are wearing? I love your life and I wish I was your neighbor floating around the country.
Thank you! Come on out and play! lol I got the jumper in Quartzsite Arizona at a flea market booth. There was only one but I’m sure there got to be more out there. No tag in it but it looks to me like Mexican made.
Woman's RTR @ 5:14 I'm also a member of Homes on wheels alliance 🙂 Nice video !
Thanks Mark! Your observant! lol Loved attending RTR as well! HOWA is an organization I could really dig into…changing lives one van at a time. 👍
Thank you! Great camper. Enjoy.
Thank you!
Your outfit is so stinkin' cute I can't even see your TAB.....
Oh my gosh I love you! lol I’ve worn uniforms, black suits, bullet proof vests and a gun for far too long. It’s time granny gets her groove on! Thank you for making me laugh!
Awesome tour, thankyou. I got several tips/hints. wishing you strength and fun on your travels.
Thank you!!😊
Thank you Beth. Things don’t always go smooth so I really appreciate your kind words
Love the tour. Thank you. Question….how do you stay fit and in great shape? I love your arms. I’m noticing bat wings and rolls around my midsection and I’m trying to fight it at 51.
I try to mix it up but nothing radical. Our genetics play a role but I believe the more active we are the better. For me: zero TV time, evenings are outdoors then to bed, walking and rucking (Carrying heavy loads) is great for us! I personally love the blue zone philosophy and also the book “Built to Move”. www.audiobooks.com/m-audiobook/617658
Loved the tour you have an adorable home
Thank you!
Cool
I really like your set up 😊😊
Thank you!
Lucy good name for your teardrop camper
I’m liking this! Maybe Rosie? I like Rosie the Riveter.
I couldn't hear about the screen for the window, did anyone hear about it ? Its a brilliant addition to any rig imo 💖

Love it!!!
Thank you!
It didn’t register to me in the beginning that you had a car so I thought you drove from inside the teardrop 😂
Nice set up you have. I like the little kitchen. Looks like you have it all figured out. Hope you enjoy all your travels.
Thank you so much! I appreciate your kind words!
really impressive how you utilized your space. enjoy your travels
Thank you Penny!
I like your little tab. Your fur babies are so sweet. Very minimal indeed. Happy travels.
Thank you so much!
That's the best one I've seen what is the name of it
Hello my Co-Heart!!! 'wink' 'wink' (I saw in your other video that you are no longer a flight attendant)....thank you so much for your teardrop camper tour!!! Luv your tiny home on wheels!!!!! Thinking about purchasing a NuCamp, but I've never towed a thing in my life! Is this your first time towing or have you had experience prior to purchasing a towable?
Oh Co-Heart! My heart leaped (lept, jumped?) reading this. I miss the air but love the road. I’ve towed many campers and boats. I must say a single axel camper is tough. But if you can carry a tray of drinks down a narrow isle in turbulence, YOU can do this! Practice in empty parking lots, buy a toy truck and trailer. Make sure the front wheels turn, not too cheap, lol. Then practice with it and watch the movements. Tap into the NuCamp community here to find a sweet used one: tab-rv.vanillacommunity.com/categories/-for-sale-new-used-t%40b-s Thanks for being here and stay safe!
The algorithm is working here #investigate
Hello Brian! Thanks for being here.
I really like your system & knowledge. I have a MDX Acura that can tow max 5000, I think. But I'm thinking of getting a teardrop, if I can tow it. Is it hard to tow? How hot does it get in the teardrop?
You could easily tow a Tab 320 with your MDX. Backing up can be a challenge at first but just practice and make tiny adjustments. This is because it’s a single axel. I forget it’s behind my truck sometimes. lol It has three huge windows so there’s usually a good breeze throughout. The air conditioner works great as well! But you’ll need shore power to run the air conditioner. If you’re boondocking or dry camping you’ll need to bring along a generator to run the a/c. I’m getting ready to buy one so I’m doing a lot of research.
Here’s a link to our NuCamp forum. This feed is on the topic of towing. Thought you might find it useful. tab-rv.vanillacommunity.com/discussion/13751/need-help-understanding-engine-requirements-for-t-b
Oh Lord guide and protect inJesus name amen
God is SO good. I’m astounded at the beautiful people he puts in my life and how he turns challenges into blessings. Thank you!
FYI: Vinegar doesn’t sanitize well at all. You can clean with it but don’t say it sanitizes because it doesn’t.
Hello and thank you! I did some research and it’s a good cleaner but not a disinfectant. Big difference. Thanks again!
To me it's very unsanitary not to have a bathroom but to each his own as long as it works for you
Thank you for the comment. There’s usually wash rooms at campsites or restrooms when traveling so it’s rare to have to use the portable system but I do understand what you mean.
PEPPERMINT.
Totally unexpected but so love it! Dang you’re creative!
Where’s the 🚽 and 🚿??? 🤔
There is a hot shower on the exterior. In an emergency you can use a Luggable Loo or my system. Or just camp where there are amenities close by. Thank you for chiming in.
Don't poop in plastic! Get a shovel and dig a hole. ...can't do that...? Then use wood chips or kitty litter. NOW...GO to the TRASH RECEPTACLE.
I’ve used pine chips and cedar in a five gallon bucket. I also carry composting bags but they’re tough to find. Thank you for the comment. I’m mindful of plastic so I appreciate your input.
