  • An excellent documentary. Fascinating to watch the main suspension cables sag slightly around 4:06 as they take the weight of another section of the bridge deck. Interesting that the principles of this basic technique has not changed much since the construction of the first Severn Bridge in the UK, between 1964-1966.

  • I honestly do not see the point in making the bridges much, much harder to build by making the support pillars not straight vertically!...so that we get in the end a better design visually... please people...making bridges is already hard and expensive, there is no need to ad difficulties....
