DJ Khaled 'Hot Ones' Disaster

2023 ж. 30 Қар.
1 089 321 Рет қаралды

The host of ‘Hot Ones’, Sean Evans, joins Adam and Gina and talks about the origins and meteoric rise of the show. They recount Adam’s appearance on ‘Hot Ones’ and look at DJ Khaled’s poor performance on the show. Sean gets into his interview process and his experience eating a Carolina Reaper: the world’s hottest chili pepper. Gina Grad reports the news of today including: Jason Momoa getting slammed for climate hypocrisy, TikTok shipping different versions of the app to other countries than what they get in China, and a woman getting a Guinness World Record for her giant feet.

I see it all the time some kid gets upset and no amount of rational thought will calm them down even if its right, but kids cant help themselves and will always fire back. So one kid might be in tears saying someone else cheated when it reality they didn't they are just good at it so they always win vs the kids that are not. And kids will just team up on the one crying repeating no their not over and over which doesn't fix the situation it just makes it worse the kid crying just needs to go off and calm down.

Now to be clear, it didn't need to be a big deal that this guy gave up. He could have just said "Look, I can't do it. Sorry." What made it embarrassing was how he tried so hard to save face, going as far as trying to change the definition of "giving up" just so he didn't have to admit that he lost a hot wing eating contest of all things. It's pathetic. Just admit defeat gracefully and move on with your life.

I assume that whatever he's referring to is something she said that he took issue with, and supposedly it was circular logic, he called it "Michelle Obama's circle talk" and hasn't let it go ever since, taking any chance at bringing it up, however loose the connection may be. You'll find that right-wingers do this a lot... they find something stupid, petty or made-up about a political opponent and then hammer it nonstop ad nauseam to pound the conversation around that person into their submission and try to convince people it's true via repetition. You keep hearing a lie often enough, you start thinking it must be true. That's the whole right-wing propaganda tactic.
