WE INTEND TO CAUSE HAVOC
Best band name. They win 🏆
At 59 and Zambian l can relate so much to this music and my past. Great work ba Chanda. So proud of you guys for carrying the flag for us.
The bass player is Jacco Gardner. Got to open for his band wen they came to the U.S. Check out his albums.
Jac is really cool. I was supposed to interview him for a music magazine when his band came to San Francisco. Jacco and I just did a quick interview and ended up hanging out for hours just talking about music and art. People at our table. Were getting kind of bored because Jac and I were talking for hours about the soundtrack to Susperia, really old quirky, synthesizers and keyboards, Goblin, and Alejandro Jordorowsky. Great nite
Living in the Past is the most underrated masterpiece... Like what a song.
Stumbled across this looking for Witch, a doom rock band from the early 2000's, which is also great but a totally different sound. Goddamn this is a fantastic performance. KEXP always delivers....Oh Sees, Meatbodies, KGLW, SONS, Slift, Wand, Tinariwen....the list just keeps going. Google and the corporate overlords can pretty much suck it 90% of the time, but man once in a while they do me right.
Don't forget All Them Witches...
Yup listen to all the above mentioned bands as well!
I came here looking for the same Witch lol
You are me and I am you. And we are both fools.
Zambians, man. They are amazing people!
So glad that WITCH was able to carry on touring. There music is legendary and so happy they can represent Zam Rock still
saw them live yesterday - it was just wonderful - if you have chance to see them live - absolutely go for it!
The Zambian dudes, L’Eclair and Nico Mauskovic - what a legendary collaboration!
JJ Whitefield (other guitarist) played in the krautrock band Placebo from the 70s. This lineup is amazing!
Great band, Patrick Mondela on keyboard and Emmanuel Jagari Chanda on vocals, come and do it in Zambia tour all the towns
I can not stress how fucking cool this is!!! Thank you to all!!
Oh yyyyeeeeesssssss🕺🏽🕺🏽🕺🏽🕺🏽 Watching from Zambia 🇿🇲 . Miss you all a lot 🕺🏽🕺🏽 can’t wait to see you again

Actually life changing.
I unconditionally love this band and their new album. It's rare to find this
Love from 🇹🇹 to WITCH. I'm imagining in an alternative reality WITCH ending up at CBGB in their heyday
Legend from Zambia
Came across this band in their 2019 documentary We lntend To Cause Havoc, which showed how the European guys tracked down the band members and got them back on stage

MAJESTUOSO
This is just absolutely sick.
Damn I wish they’d record an album of newer renditions of the old songs with better mastering and maybe even a few new tracks. Or even put out this show on vinyl so I could listen to it on my system without having to pull up KZhead
Don’t you worry, something’s brewing…
Awesome. Thanks :D

Y'aurait-il le guitariste de "L'Eclair" dans la bande ? :)
The interviwer is so funny. And also, the band is very profissional. I really like.
The interviewer for this vid is wonderful. Made the video and interview even more special!!!
Chifundo is a classic fuckin banger
There’s quite a few evil women here too. Rock on brothers
Is that the guitar player from L'eclair?

@@m-tetsuo the percussionist is also from L'Eclair. And the drummer is the founder of the Mauskovic Dance Band. A true super group!

Oh...so there's Witch and then there's WITCH: both are good.
But which witch is witch?
all the Witches are good and love stitches and hate snitches
Finally put something that wasn't an angsty millennial on and it didn't suck. Imagine that.
who are all these new white guys lol, some rippers tho"
The singer, Chanda is the only one of the original lineup still alive. The keyboard player was part of the band later. They literally are the only two members of the band from the 70s and 80s who are still alive. AIDS killed a lot of people in Zambia and that generation of musicians was hit pretty hard by it.
Guy can't sing but the music is so cool!
He's old now. He sang in the 70s, cant expect him to hold it down still, can ya?
What ? He has a great voice. This is rock n roll man. Get real.
@Mike Bryan Great voice? You trippin bro?
Someone never heard Dylan or JLo😅
Dude last recorded about 40 years ago
