Track 1. Go to 5:36 for fastest lap (47.998 seconds).
Initial impressions: it's a well-run track. Karts had decent speed and grip, felt responsive and balanced. However, the fake engine noise is deafening even with a helmet on. I liked how the two tracks were unique and each offered their own challenges. However, both tracks don't have any braking zones. All the employees were helpful and friendly; hopefully it stays that way in the next few months/years.

To clarify, Supercharged claims they are the world's largest *multi-level indoor* karting track. As some have noted, there are larger tracks around the world outside of this category.

Yeh, my local which is teamsport warrington england is a bit bigger, quickest you're looking at there is a 58 second lap which is crazy, my quickest is a 1:00.666.🙂
If you guys/drivers ever come to SE asia, the kart track is way longer and they can adjust laps from 35 seconds to about 1:30 min (fastest @50-70 kph). But i like the POV showing the track is clean and shiny (the owner must be very tidy and clean for the track).
When you finally passed that one guy and were set free......so satisfying.

usually in indoor tracks (like this one), the winner is determined by fastest lap time so if someone behind you is going faster than you, you are instructed to let them overtake you @@ChrisTheSparky

what other great driver? all others were sh!t in comparison. there's no need at all to brake there with open track in front of you. Qian, great lines and reading traffic. Good to see they allow personal cams and don't force you to rent crappy ones as some arrive and drives are doing now. Was surprised at how the kart sounded at first..then when you revealed its a FAKE NOISE?!?! lmfao cmon supercharged.. that's lame.
That other driver was not good. We was blocking, because he knew that he'd be outpaced.
I just went today and raced only one race and got a 49.4 as my fastest lap, I was surprised to get it down so quickly on track 1, but from seeing your lines, I see a few things I can be faster on. Track 2 looks more challenging, I want to try it
Nice 👍 Experiment with the boost as well it can easily cut 4 to 5 tenths depending on where you use it.

@@adampoulter5240 it's in Edison, New Jersey USA. i took a date (she was 21) there once n i was unaware how big her heels were anyway she was just under the 4'10". so she couldn't drive the kart. that when i found out how short she really was. they also have a rule there for safety reasons competing for corners is not encouraged. the slower drivers let the faster ones through. also you dont place by position it's by lap time also it's like 20-30 bucks for 1 session.

Bruh might as well build a sim rig if you're really into it. Unless maybe they have some sort of fidelity program or something? But still that's 1 track only... Same kart all the time too!
Racing line was perfect. You can see the racers that don't about gas-to-brake tire ratios. Knowing how much input in or let off. Love that you took like 4 spots in 8 seconds and then climbed to first. The back markers are a drag. Lol. Great racing.

100% IMO. When I race dirt bikes (woods/trail type races), and no i am not the fastest guy out there, but its like when you see someone a lil ways ahead through the trees, it just does something to focus you more haha. Like a challenge to make up the ground and catch up to em.

that looks like a really fun track, I wish there where indoor kart tracks like this in IL, I only been to K1 Speed in Buffalo Grove, and Accelerate Inddoor Race way in Mokena IL, I race at the K1 Buffalo Grove GP races, been a kart racer for 16 years, strated in the junur leage back in 2006 at Chicago Indoor racing, and started the GP at K1 in 2017 to present, great driving.
I’m a NJ native and this is great don’t get me wrong, but I’d rather the state allow the use of off road vehicles. Almost all recreational vehicles that are ‘for off road use’ are illegal to operate. So, thanks for the huge fun facility, but please let us use the land we pay taxes for with our off road vehicles without fear of penalty. I say this because I’m assuming where you’re from throwing a leg over a dirt bike and going riding isn’t a second though to you. Maybe it is and if so, then we feel the same pain.
@@motosessions I'm from Illinois, I don't know what the rules are for dirt racing areas or every thing you mentioned, all I know is kart racing, I been a kart racer for 16 years, I don't know any other racing, but I know, there are race tracks around Illinois thet that let people bring there vehicles to race on, I don't know anything else though.

Who needs brakes when karts are this slow? Friction and engine braking are enough to get them to a standstil on a dime. 😂

Great vid, nice lines and creative passing, well done. That first kid you passed had some skills of his own, if somebody worked with him he'd be a little beast. Last time I went go-kart racing was in Las Vegas, had a crash and broke both legs. This vid makes me want to try a place like this.

47.998 is amazing!! I hope in the future if we preregister they will put us with other fast people. Nothing worse than try to lay some good lap times down when your in a slow group. Does anyone what TRACK 1 fastest time is??

Looks like you don't even have to use the brakes. I guess the gimmick is that it's big, not fun
Yeah that's the tradeoff with a track made for people who have never karted before. If they put heavy braking zones you know it's gonna be a crash fest
@@SpeedCQ gpny at least has different speeds for people that have proven they can handle it, I think that's a good way to keep things safe for newer drivers but still let faster guys have fun
I believe the other supercharged in MA has a faster speed for league races as well, hopefully they bring that here

@@nathanbaeyens2856 the places in Florida that do that, refuse to do it on "busy days" aka weekends. It's fun with friends, but still better to find your local gas track. Florida rentals can get up to 45mph, a lot more fun on a proper sprint track.
That was some really GOOD Driving, I really like how you took advantage of the inside lines when passing the other Kart, looks like a lot of Fun, will have to look this place up during my future travels. Thanks so much for sharing :)

I've only driven on track twice, both races I had traffic, my best time on track 1 was a 49.3 but I know where I can do better at, 2nd race on track 1 I was a full second slower cause my race had over 20 people which made getting a clean lap extremely impossible. Best advice to all my racers if you want to set a clean fast lap with less people on track go super early during the morning. They get packed an booked very quickly. My best time on track 2 was a 58.9 but overall I like track 1 better then 2 it's so fast.
Agreed I liked track 1 better, given the kart speeds there were too many long straights on track 2

Great Vid!! I think the carts need much smaller wheels. We tried years ago, putting tiny, thin wheel on and it was fantastic. You could easily lose control and accelerating/braking became much more challenging. Lots more passing and skill involved. The tiny wheels make up for the 'overplanting' of the car. Peace!
The kart are… cringe Nothing worse than fake engine noises on Evs. Let them have a high pitched whine or something.
Nice, my favorite part was at 6:09, drifting down the hill like Gerhard Berger at Monaco and a hit the apex on the exit of that turn too, well done. Normally drifting would lose time but I think it was fine there and I would do the same. You and I would have a good race. It would be nice if you could request a setup with those karts, I'd want mine to rotate more easily with less understeer more like a typical gas powered kart although you'd probably get some pretty big crashes on that track with beginners. I'm guessing the ideal place to use the boost is at 5:51.
Yup you lose a lot of grip on the downhill spiral that's why I end up tracking out wide, it might be faster just to cut distance and stay in the middle of the track on exit
@@SpeedCQ going down the hill at 6:12 I'm confident it's best to go all the way to the right, or as far to the right that you have to go so you don't slide, which will probably be as close to the wall on the right as possible to carry your speed and have the best exit angle at 6:13 especially since the turn after is a right. I could be wrong, but I do have experience and am confident in my analysis. I'm a retired sim sim racer almost 50 yrs old, used to do 10k laps a year and won all the championships I set out to win. Test through trial and error to be sure and let me know if you don't mind. That's a great track, a little less grip would make it even better.

Yes absolutely!
This isn't a great kart track, because the karts are to slow for the track (I guess 50 km/h) because you do not have to brake. So the only thing you have to do is to use your wheel. There is no breakpoint before every corner and you don't have to control the amount of trottle. So it would be better if the corners were more narrow or the karts were faster for example 80km/h. This track is a good option in case you meet your friends and you want to have a great evening, or for an birthday party or something like that. But this is no Motorsport.

I went here on a trip and i have say i love it i was going ape crazy on the go kart and i used the boost button to increase speed the kart was moving super fast even when i wear the helmet in dark corners i was still incredible the first time i got 4th place and second time i got 2nd i would've won if that person didn't shove me but overall i had great time there

I did track one after waiting 2 hours in line , 4 hours to race . It was fun af though can’t even lie . It was packed wall to wall in there . Glad that I live so close to it cuz I’ll be going back quite often .

@@FayezButts I went around the afternoon on Tuesday and it was crowded. Not insanely crowded compare to when we left. We waited in like for about 15 minutes. Then had to wait mother 15-20 for our race to start. I know that place gets busy asf on weekends lol. Can’t imagine how summer will be.

Great time. I’ve been there a few times. Got myself ranked 55 with well over 2,000 pro skill points. Track 2 is a lot less technical and longer straights

I just went the 3rd day they were open...its so much fun! I also did the blue track (wanted to do both the blue and red one) and I felt like I definitely hit 40 mph a couple times lol. 100% recommend

I actually tried go karting at The Fair on 4 inside the Mall of America a couple years ago, and it wasn’t as easy as it looks. Driving a go-kart was kinda hard for first-timers
