Jonathan Marchessault led the way on offence with two goals and an assist and Adin Hill dominated in net with 29 saves as the Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs 6-2 to snap their seven-game winning streak.

Yes, Vegas ended the Leafs winning streak tonight which yes happens to be a Canadian team! I was replying to the individual that posted this comment. The Leafs beat Vegas last Thursday 7-3 which EXTENDED THE LEAFS WINNING STREAK AT THE TIME!! I was simply replying to the post because Vegas didn't end the Leafs streak last week! I hope we're all caught up now!

It’s a good point but there were 2 on him at the time. No one from the leafs went to help him. He actually came away with the puck for a brief moment.

The Leafs defense was horrendous tonight. Sure, they had a 7 game win streak, but that doesn't excuse the nonstop giveaways. Samsonov will get blamed, as usual, but also as usual, he wasn't the problem.
as soon as the commentator said 6 wins in a row for Sammy and 3 losses in a row for Hill, I already knew this was going to be a loss for the leafs.
I figured way before the game. There was no way Bettman was going to allow the refs to have the Leafs to have an ounce of hope in this one. I was not expecting the bs officiating to be that bad though

Can someone tell 44 he's a defenseman, not forward? Stop cheating for goals and do his job properly. There is no secret why Leafs won so many games without him. They play solid D without him in the line up and none of the guys try to cheat for goals. He kept floating to the blue line and left his partner, the forwards and goalie scrambling to cover for his D spot.
Nylander fails to clear the puck out of their end. Then stands there . Slowly comes back at a snails pace. I guess he doesn't to use any energy in his own end. Vegas has enough time to take multiple shots at the goal. Nylander selfish bum. Well a rich bum. lol. Toronto won't get past first round.

The leafs lost too many “battle” for the puck on the boards. Nylander’s was just one of many. His bystanding approach is something he’s used for years. A very rich bystander. Why get involved?
he's a floater. he is good at times but he is a defensive liability from what i see
How many times have I had to say it? Nylander doesn't back check or play defense. If he loses the puck and the opponent is on his way towards the Leafs zone, he'll either slowly work his way to the Leafs blue line but no further or he just leaves the ice completely.
Vegas responding to Edmonton's win last night with a win tonight, staying 3 pts up on the Oilers. How big was that back-to-back on Friday and Saturday for the Oilers, losing in regulation in both to teams in the hunt for a playoffs and probably squandering their best chance thus far to take 2nd in the Pacific?

Nothing to be proud of. The Knights are missing their two best players. Leafs should've feast. They won 7 in a row, but they also played four teams that's not gonna make the playoffs. So nothing to be proud of.

We have one of the best forwards (Matthews ) along with Marner and Nylander the problem here is that our defense is weak so I am not blaming Samsonov for the lost. But as a proud leafs fan that I am You can't win them all but I can assure you that the leafs will be in the playoffs this season.

Reavo is the best, it wasn't a breakaway goal , it was a 2 on 1, And Reavo buried it. And still you have fools complaining. Reaves was one of the best leafs on the ice tonight, thats good but thats also a problem with the others in the group. Reaves for captain.
