So we traveled to Japan to film a three-part series about beauty & style and we’re kicking it off with a trip to the SPA THEME PARK for skincare & relaxation! Yunessun is kind of like a mash-up of a traditional hot springs spa and a waterpark, with some very strange baths to boot - including wine, collagen, green tea, coffee, sake, and more!

  • "And with our booties thoroughly rattled" has to be one chaotic quote, but Safiya is queen of bizarre descriptions, which is just a key part of the videos. Sometimes it is demonstrated through an extensive vocabulary, but she generally nails the genuine comment by delivery.

  • I love how respectful Safiya is when she tries new things-she takes them seriously and doesn’t make it one big joke. Too often I see creators going to other countries and behaving disrespectfully or making fun of the customs of that area and it turns me off. I love that Safiya is open minded and respectful (and game to try anything-no acting disgusted and no over the top grossed out faces)

  • There have been reports of staph infections after fish pedicures as a result of pathogenic bacteria in the fish. Onychomadesis can occur after a fish pedicure , which is when the toenails blacken and fall off. So consider carefully before trying it.

    • ok just found out that the whole outdoor mountain of various baths from coffee to wine to sake to charcoal, etc, have been moved! ALL my fav parts!! The entire mountain exploring area with waterfalls, nap/rest hot tiles is totally gone! The baths were brought inside and shrunken down big time! :( The biiiig swimming pool is also gone. The cold water pool is gone. When someone asked a worker about it, she said they were closed because it was too dangerous. Omg, sad that was the best part, I am crying inside, I can never go back to how it was!

  • Fun fact! Two years after I watched this video I have made a tradition to watch this video the night I leave to go on vacations.
