  • How do you show Fernandez getting the break in the third and the next point is match point for Jabeur? Come on WTA, jesus. And 720, still?

  • I really like Fernandez' improved forehand. It will help her in the long run. Probably top 10 player moving forward. Raducanu has shown some signs of redemption as well. Some people were saying these ladies didn't deserve to make US Open finals that year, but it is useless to think about deserving in sports. Both are still young and gifted and will keep being top 30 players moving forward.

    • Most of the times she develops false confidence when she's ahead that she lets her guard down. It also happens when she handily wins a set, she somehow thinks the next 2 sets will be easy.

She has beautiful shots. I guess she can't climb due to lack of power in her shots. It's always a joy to watch her matches. Lululemon picked the right person. @assil110@assil11012 күн бұрын
    • Winning ugly comes to mind; so long as they show the crucial points the winner won (set, match points etc). But, if the loser won the more spectacular points they'll feature those. It's called 'highlights'. Maybe other than winning ugly points, Ons didn't win many pleasing to watch points.

      @danjonmills@danjonmills11 күн бұрын
    • @@danjonmills Highlights are not only about the spectacular points, but it is more a compressed version of the game. So, turning points come before spectacular ones, including break points .. etc. Someone who does not know the final score and just watches this highlight would certainly think that Fernandez won the game... which makes this highlight pointless !

      @assil110@assil11011 күн бұрын
    • You asked a stupid question, I gave you a logical answer; then you came back with a pointless retort. Let me try one more time for your dumb ass: It showed the crucial points that Ons won, but Leylah also played lots of aesthetically pleasing, HIGHLIGHT level points/shots, so it showed them, too. People can still know Jabeur won if they watched the whole vid - why wouldn't they.

She really has the talent, she could have beaten Jabbeur easily 😩 I remembered her US Open when she choked. Probably people talking about Emma trailblazing through got to her head coz she could have also easily beaten Emma then. If she gets these moments where she’s unafraid of anything, she can beat anyone truly. She is THAT talented.
