2012 was one of my favorite movies
The family at the centre of it ruined it.
2012 real dudeee... We passed that calamaty
It was the worst disaster movie ever. Lol
The day after tomorrow is best🔥🔥
Yes! Mine too!
Greenland was easily my favorite disaster movie. The special effects was out of this world and the plot was amazing
Not sure what I think of the sequel that is coming? However, with the same cast I have my fingers crossed.
Ong that’s the best
Greenland is the best movie ever
@@mostafahaiderhamzasatchetr7393 Definitely how it's going to happen. I can't wait to see how part two plays out.
the plot hahahahaha
The Impossible and Deepwater Horizon ~ both based on true events ~ are two of the most powerful and emotional movies you will EVER watch. They are both fantastically presented and stab you right in the heart. Absolutely love most of the others ... have watched multiple times. Greenland felt so realistic.
Omg I love The Impossible. you know. in the movie sense lol.
just realized it's in this video. my point still stands tho lol
I work in the oil and gas industry every day. In the field building huge batteries and i worked most of my years on a rig. Deep water horizon hit my ass hard. Literally felt that wife's pain thinking her husband died at work. Could happen to me any day
Not to mention tiny Tom Holland is irresistible!
The one that got me the most, emotionally is Greenland. Specially when they lost their kid and everything is going bad, everyone is turning against them. and then a genuine nice person came along to actually help, that just made me tear up.
Watching Contagion after having experienced our very own very real viral pandemy was very strange... Literally recognizing things from the movie that actually happened in real life was surreal
Another good one is the "The Stand"
omg yeah.... i know exactly what you mean.... was indeed very surreal......
Movies set the stage for what has been planned.
Or make it more realistic they should have think about adding people going crazy for toilet paper...OMG...omg /sight
@@plow8200 Nop, it was just because pandemics and human behavior is pretty predictable so you can easly recreate how a pandemic could acted in our society and Contagion was pretty accurate
The day after tomorrow, even after all these years I still love it
me to...i have seen a lot of times!!
2012 was the coolest destruction movie to ever grace the screens
True
yup
I can’t believe San Andreas came out almost 7 years ago & The Day After Tomorrow came out 18 years ago.
Lol
The Day After Tomorrow will always be a timely film!
@@smartakismartaki6536 Because it's based on a real situation. Sure, exaggerated to look good but still, a possible event.
I absolutely love disaster movies I wish there was a new one every month
if joe keeps runnin the country and the dem clowns - i assure you we will all experience disasters every month or even more often
No cus for real. Like what happen to people making disaster movies, is like they stopped. Same how they stopped making shark movies too 😔
Pompeii is the most of my favorites because it's all the action wars and volcanos erupting
Just in time for the release of Roland Emmerich's Moonfall - Check out our compilation for some of the best disaster movies!
I love the special effects in Pompeii, as well as Into the Storm. I saw The Day after tomorrow in the theater and I thought it was great especially with the special effects throughout the film.
day after tomorrow was very unrealistic
Pompeii was absolutely breathtaking. One of my favorite movies hands down.
Cracking selection of movies, that. Thanks for the upload. Deep Impact would have been worth consideration.
Greenland and San Andreas we’re some of my favorite movies, but Into The Storm has always been my #1 favorite. The effects on the tornadoes were so well done
Love the soundtrack of the day after tomorrow and liked pompeii as well.
The impossible was such an amazing movie very touching 😢
Pompeii makes me cry every time, and now that more bodies are being uncovered….it’s so sad 😢
thanks for suggesting these movies
All of these movies are my faves but when I watched MOONFALL, it just easily joined my top 3. The plot is just fantastic *chef's kiss*
where can you watch it?
@@lumbarthought558 sflix
HBO max
Let me just quickly insert my opinion here where no one asked for it (I am sorry XD.) I was skeptical on it, as when I went to watch it a few weeks ago the reviews weren't that great, but it was pretty good. A little odd at times I personally think, and in all honesty I could easily do without the whole monster in the moon and all the other twists, and just had a movie about the moon falling (not to say I didn't enjoy that plotline) but it was still pretty good and kept my attention. The special effects were very good as well.
what is your other 2 picks ?
Moonfall is criminally underrated in my opinion,
Nah moonfall sucks shit
That Awesome I love San Andrea and Deepwater Horizons movie!!!!
Threads was the most chilling disaster movie I've ever seen.
Thanks for suggestions😀
The Wave and (its sequel) The Quake are both excellent Norwegian disaster movies, and IMHO better than many on this list.
AWESOME MASH-UP OF ALL MOVIES !!
I saw every movie apart from new comings and i gotta say this is a must match movies
These final hours has to be one of my favorite end of the world movies. Really shows how twisted humans can become in desperate times. Take shelter was another good one thats more psychological.
Thanks 😊
The impossible made me cry 😪 it was touching
Deepwater horizon I love it
In the last movie, The Impossible, I couldn't help but notice Tom Holland as a little boy. Am almost sure people who watched it back then never thought he would be the A-list superstar he is today.
Because he's a little boy in that scene, it's easy to not even notice him, @@PresGrove.
Moonfall was amazing. Just the thought of the moon going out of orbit, pulling everything up from the ground, and an unidentified creature inside of it is crazy! 10/10 movie right there.
Terrible film, absolute trash film.
When you've seen each and every last movie on this list....and then some 😞 I was looking forward to seeing a disaster movie I hadn't seen before.
10.5.. a must watch
Big ups my uncle HEROLD KLOSER making banger movies. Love you! ❤️
I’ve seen them all except moon fall and only seen some of the impossible. I love Contagion.
moonfall is prolly one of the best movies id ever seen and ive seen way too much movies, lol

The Day After Tomorrow is still one of the best disaster movies of all time.

The only new movie in this Video is moon fall

Contagion the best on this list
If you want some more exotic but good ones try The Wave and The Quake from Norway. Good films both.
Me and my mom are absolute disasters movie fanatics and I’ve been watching them literally my entire life. She told me my first movie was Independence Day actually on Independence Day. We always have them on when needing energy and for background noise. So here’s my ultimate list. 1. San Andreas (this climbed up high since release) 2. Twister (practically teethed on this movie, kid you not) 3. The Day after Tomorrow (Those graphics are awesome for a nearly 20 old movie) 4. Geostorm (The trailer kills alone) 5. Dantes Peak (highly nostalgic for us) 6. Volcano 7. Sully (I don’t care what people say, when do you get a disaster movie that has no deaths, and was based off real life, we both have the same hometown so there’s a connection, we even just had a day dedicated to him and he came to sign books) 8. Poseidon (before San Andreas I had never seen a better drowning scene, or as equal to than Kurt Russel in Poseidon, but Alexandra Daddario did really well in SA) I’ll stop here, that’s my main list I’ve stuck with continuously and consistently through the years. We used to have this one on VHS but I remembered loving it and it’s actually still really good you ought to give a try, Airport ‘77, especially if you love old movies and famous actors from back when like Jack Lemon (Some Like it Hot) and Olivia de Havilland (Gone With the Wind) and James Stewart (from how do you not know him), etc. You can find it on Vudu.
The last movie is based on real life events. And the writes keep it pretty much as it happened. And the acting by Tom Holland and the other 2 kids was amazing!
The Impossible my favorite
1st, 3rd and last are top 3
Que emocion ver el trailer de 2012
Greenland was freaking amazing dude
Rock is always rock in any movie 😎🔥🔥
My favorite one is Geostorm
2012 was one of my favorite movies❤
My Top 5 1. The Impossible 2. San Andreas 3. Pompeii 4. Contagion 5. The Day after Tomorrow -Moonfall (newest entry, but hoping its gonna be good)

Please share some more movies related to the same topic ...
I saw a movie called Arctic Blast, after an eclipse, ice covered everything.
Did you know underwater horizon is a reference to the helix oil expotion
This was such a good movie
2012 Will always be number one no lies
agreed
Greenland and Into the storm is the best
Just thinking that most major news networks probably have a pre-recorded broadcast for the end of the world terrifies me to my core
Pompeii in 3D ❤
day after tomorrow was a masterpiece
The best part is that one day one of these will finally happen
Gerard Butler is the best when it comes to movies like these.
I also watched the impossible, its interesting, its also based off a real event
litarely i watched all of this
cool
Cool
I have seen most of these films except for contagion and into the storm. I love disaster movies and I'm always looking for a new one. I just don't like extremely sad ones though
Same the sad one you don't feel the fear of like the characters dying
Then you'd like The Road. Very uplifting. Honest. Lol
I watched into the storm it was epic
😍I just watched 2012 thats one hell of a disaster movie ,,I highly recommend it. '''Dante's Peak'' and ''Wandering Earth' are a must watch too for any Disaster Movie Lovers like myself😁
Dantes Peak is an underrated movie. And (relatively) realistic.
1. San andreas for those who like realistic 2. 2012 for those who like to see mega disasters 3. Moonfall for those who enjoy feeling good movie 4. Greenland for those who like deep impact 5. The day after the tomorrow for those who like understand global warming. 5. Contagion for those who think it's represent Covid-19 6. Geostorm for those who like alot of diasasters for entertaining 7. Pompeii for those who like disaster from the history 8. Into the storm for those who like twister 9. Deepwater Horizon for those who like anxiety based on reality 10. The Impossible for those who is sensitive based on reality
Should check out "don't look up" it's quite a good and powerful movie
the imposssible looks like a goodn, especially cos its got ewan mcgregor
2012 is by far my fav disaster movie just because there so much destruction (we don't talk about the 2nd half) but San Andreas was by far the best film imo the pacing was good the characters were likable and the rock obv and the cgi was top tier.
2012 is a very nice movie and even though it is an old movie it has amazing effects !!!
2012 has such good character imo too
i love the impossible
Cool.
sucks when you looking on youtube for a good disaster movie to watch and find out you have already seen all of these 😆
San Andreas is probably the only one I have seen more than once i think
The day after tomorrow is the best
