  • Some Corrections: - Most computer USB ports will be underpowered for the pen, but any USB battery pack that can output 5V, 2A should work to make this portable - As some commenters pointed out, Mynt3D also sells a 'Professional Pen' that is mostly the same but easier temp. control and an OLED display for an extra $20 (Amazon link : amzn.to/2zW4KCE). I'll be trying it out soon :D

Did you hear if they are thinking of discontinuing the older one for this cheaper version? I hope not. It's nice to be able to tweak the temp a few degrees up and down for PLA from different manufacturers. Worth the extra $20 to me.

  • Hi! Many thanks to your efforts to make the 3d pen more "user friendly" just as you did. A question: in drawing lines (less jerky) could be useful to use a ruler? Some rulers have the "opposite side" (the one without numbers) which is somewhat "rised" over the drawing surface, so it won't touch the PLA or the drawing point during the use. Have you ever tried to do this?

    @mariodistefano2973@mariodistefano29739 ай бұрын

    @arne_mh@arne_mh4 жыл бұрын
