The quality of this info and content is actually insane in my opinion. I think you are a really good teacher and I hope your stuff blows up big. Thank you for what you put out there
Appreciate that Brad
this is the best wrestlling for bjj video i have ever seen. If someone never wrestled they have to watch this
🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:14 *🧠 Organizing takedowns into quadrants* - Organizing takedowns into four quadrants (vertical and horizontal). - Pairing takedowns strategically for chaining and flow. - Importance of dominant underhook placement for chaining takedowns. 02:18 *🤼♂️ Pairing takedowns and focusing on opposites* - Never focusing solely on one takedown; pair with its opposite for increased effectiveness. - Front headlock as a versatile pairing option for various takedowns. - Mental shift from singular focus to pairing takedowns for quicker success. 04:13 *🤸♀️ Importance of inside and outside position on feet* - Inside and outside positions are equally valuable on the feet. - Wide rangeof offense available from outside position. - Need for awareness and calmness in both inside and outside positions during stand-up. Made with HARPA AI
that first tip is going to bring me to the next level 100%. going to spend some time this weekend to see what takedowns in your course would work best for me in this concept.
you're gonna be levels ahead brother. keep up the good work 🏆
This is the best video for takedowns in BJJ I've seen You can find millions of videos of technique but very hard to find videos on the strategy and reasoning of when to use your techniques. It's this deeper level of understanding that can allow someone who doesn't have a wrestling background to really train takedowns effectively.
Probably my favourite channel on KZhead. Crazy high level of knowledge.
Appreciate that Liam
Brilliant!! 💥💥💥 No one deserves this quality of content for free. But, I’m happy to have it!
Amazing video love the way you break it down.
Good talk, fellas!
Classic and solid advice
Love the channel, lessons, and how you organize everything. Great place to learn
My wrestling is severely lacking. 8 years training and never knew about the arm drag set up. Awesome stuff!
Great to hear!
This is gold, thanks. Love these more conceptual videos
Thank you Nate. More to come
ty for posting this, cheers from Brazil !!
This is good
Sir, this is epic content! Thank you!
So very glad it helps Paulo
Great video, just signed up for the free course!
Welcome aboard Chris 🫶
Dang. This is gold. Thank you.
BRILLIANT thanks man
Incredible
Can you do a video on drills and excerices for better single leg balance with a partner and solo? Please
LoL I try to like and comment on your videos... But I don't share this shit keep this gold for myself 😅
You share this right now!!!
value
One question then. What are the opposites to a single leg, what are the opposites to a double leg, and to an ankle pick, high crotch and how do I find what are those opposites. And how do we tie them together…
Tq
Even being a righty, I always use the under hook on the left side cause I always feel easier run to the right (If I end up in a single or double, for example). Am I wrong?
If i can choose bjj or judo whay should i pick? I know muay thai
The underhook is the spoon in the western culture during dinner.
whats the opposite of a duck under?
Arm drag if I had to guess.
Fake a duck to the opposite side 👀 OR one of my favs is to fake a swing single to the opposite side-don't overcommit on the fake though, just reach out and tap their far leg then hit your duck under 🏆
How about something about bjj not being a pure system, but an electric system that's always growing? There is not much in common with its roots being just judo to adding catch and more and more wrestling . It's called"bjj" but it's a variety of techniques taken from several grappling systems/styles and then attributed as bjj
think you mean eclectic
@@ijustwannaleaveacommentony6511 yes. I just swipe type and hope it sticks. You understand though
Imagine a world where you give only black belts knowing your students are capable of killing.
Get kicked out of school because you told your coach that your giving out black belts to people that can’t really fight.
