Stop talking gibberish
@lego jurassic why?
@lego jurassic lol
I love how realistic the chameleon seems at first and then he turns into a cartoon character.
Exactly! That tone change.
I thought I was the only one seeing that
I thought I was the only one seeing that
Actually I noticed at the first glance that it was something wrong with him, like he was animated, I was right though
Y e s
The animation is just amazing. The realism of movement of the chameleon in the beginning is brilliant
* I read as it makes this face 1:05 * Lol I'm just poking, your very right!
I was so confused about hat this comment was about until I actually realized its an animation😂
The animation is so good that I thought it was a real chameleon.
You are so right!!!
This is really good but after the minute mark it gets more unrealistic by the second
When you work with them all the time, this is actually a problem. They will eat until they can’t move if they are in an environment they like.
Wow I didn’t know that! How do you prevent them from over eating?
@@sophiadia8575 careful nutrition control and weight monitoring, especially as they are juveniles and growing. You have to be very aware of what kind of proteins and fats they are getting through their bugs.
@@leafabre7174 wish mine was that easy going. he is picky as hell, only food he'll come over and eat out of my hand is raspberries, otherwise he wants me to set it down so he can eat it on his own.
So do I...
I heard that most chameleons are a look but don't touch kind of reptile?
That narrator at the end tho XD “it is truly a wonder that this creature has managed to survive”
Yeah 😂😂😂
Relatable
This is an accurate depiction of what teenagers look like while there hungry
I love how it gets nauseous after eating the poisonous monarch butterfly 😂
Nauseated
Monarchs are poisonous?!?
@@nigerriamcneal953 Yep. The caterpillars eat milkweed, and milkweed is very poisonous. The adults keep the poison, so pretty much nothing can eat them
@@genericname2747 nothing except a reptile with the munchies, apparently
@@marcelloammirati2184 Reptiles with munchies can eat anything
That part where he got the butterfly 🦋... so gross 🤢, yet so realistic 👏
but it looked like it was supposed to be a monarch and they're poisonous
no
@@copperjaguar yes. Probably reason behind the disguist on its face ..
Vicky Anderson, especially the explosion part lmao 😂..but yep very realistic indeed..
It wasnt gross for me :)
I thought that this was going to be a relaxing video on a normal chameleon chilling... and It seems like I was right!
All jokes aside though, the animation is incredible!
Everyone is talking about how good the animation is, BUT WHAT DID HE TRY TO EAT AT THE END? A GIANT BUG, A MODEL AIRPLANE, OR SOMETHING?
I think it was a drone haha
Drone plane or helicopter
It was trying to eat Mothra!!!!
@@Mu91c14n That is actual what I think it was.
Prob A Hercules beetle
*Why don't we take a moment to admire the photographer that took this overwhelming shot!?* 🤯🤯🤯
What photographer? It's an animation!
It’s animated
Come on guys how can that be a joke 🙄
@@mattjr4206 You're not the brightest bulb, huh? 🤦♀️
@@herfanin That was a joke/sarcasm that flew so far over your head it's idiotic.
That chameleon looked so real in the beginning! Wow! You nailed every little movement perfectly.
2:08 very chameleon like
The chameleon was basically saying “get in my belly!!!”
I'm bigger than you! GET IN MAH BELLEH
True
Bruh. I was not expecting that butterfly to explode like that 😂
It was more of a *pop*
That had me 🤢
1:06 It was at this point, the animator threw out all sense of realism
I think it was at 0:57 when it stopped being realistic. Cause that was when the chameleon smiled. Real chameleons can’t make facial expressions.
@@tiagoprieto7072 they also mentioned the false fact that it uses it colour for camouflage which isn’t true. They change colour to communicate and thermoregulate.
I own a chameleon and let me just say the walking and actions it takes are EXACTLY what a real chameleon does
it’s so cute cause this is basically exactly how they act 😭😭😍😍💚💚
Narrator: Untamed sense of appetite Me: Oh dear....
The last bug it went after was Mothra.
Or Battera.
I think it was most likely a Meganula/Meganuera.
That chameleon is so cute!
Yeah it is
I felt traumatized when I saw the butterfly get eaten like that
I love how he looked like he was going to lose it and turned a rainbow of colors and how he shoved the fly down his own throat.....🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂
This is so hilarious ... more please!
U were recommended this because Rango is your favorite underrated movie
Bruh, the same I thought too! 🤣🤣🤣
DAIUMN! DAT FLY! And how the chameleon is shaking, trying to resist his urge to eat it! Thats just hilarious!
When you came for a relaxing 'nature' video but gets anxiety instead...
I have no idea why any animation can look this good
I was pretty certain the chameleon was going to vomit and lose balance at some stage. I loved the color of the squished butterfly !
It tickled me pink
Look at its face expressions
I thought he would choke on that big fly

Quality of CGI here is mindblowing. The Chameleon movement was ultra-realistic. Wow.
OMG, that's freakin' brilliant! Best short video I've seen in quite a while.
Let's take some time to appreciate the Sound Designers, Editors & Foley Artists. Without the Sound, the visuals are just half the experience. I really enjoyed the Eating Sounds, Mouth movements...
The thumbnail looks like Chameleon wants to tell joke but can't stop laughing
Amazingly animated. I had mistaken it for real for a moment. This was too funny to watch. Thank you for making it.
At long last the Sequel to the magnificent Water Shrew film - EPIC GENIUS !
1:56 When you're full at the all-you-can-eat buffet but you have to pay extra if you leave anything on your plate.
This brings back fond memories of my panther, Sherman. He was the same color as this animation and well, he acted a lot like this chameleon did, lol. Thanks for the laugh and memory.
Amazing. I like how there was realism mixed in with a cartoonish touch. Awesome!
i have seem many animations, but wow, whoever did this should make it somewhere with these skills. to make something so realistic yet cartoonish in itself is a skill, well done, best chameleon documentary i have ever seen ;)
Most funny part to me was the noise of the fly when it got swallowed XD
I'm sure Sir David Attenborough gives his approval to this realistic nature video 😊
Lars Kruger is superb in animation and has quite the background. Founder/animation supervisor and co-founder of LUMATIC.
I immediately identified with the chameleon!! The untamed sense of appetite!!
Our Wonderful Nature❤🎉.
SO cute!! And as a chameleon mom, totally true 😂
I had a chameleon. When this comment was made he died 4 days ago
Awh :( I hope u feel better
The detail is fantastic. I really wish this were a recurring series or a full-fledged movie. Edit: Apparently there are more (of different animals, though)!
Автор! Спасибо вам большое за отличное настроение! В который раз смотрим всей семьёй и настроение прямо отличное!
This Chameleon is so darn cute!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was very well animated and extremely hilarious! Thank you!
i watched it twice and laughed my head off every time
0:57 was the last second that it was realistic
I loved this !!! He reminded me of my own Chameleons!!!
I first saw this film at the Queens World Film Festival in New York. Loved it then. Love it even more now. Hilarious! Well done. showing it to my class tomorrow. Thank you for the amazing art and huge laughs.
It only looks so real until it smiles 😂😂😂
You would think after that large fly he would of been full
him eating is the best, that was hilarious
Loving the new Rango movie.
Lol!!!....the last part is hilarious!....
I didn't read the title and thought I was watching a real nature documentary!! Bahahaha I didn't realize for sure it was an animation until the chameleon smiled. The part with the butterfly had me rolling.
I had mixed feelings. I feel sadness yet, the way you told it made it lighter! Thanks
That Chameleon is Me when I eat at Biggie's Restaurant
Traurig, dass dieses geniale Video nur so wenige Likes hat! Super Animation! 🤣
This cartoon makes me laugh more each time I see it. It makes me laugh just thinking about it.
Now that was fun ! Thank-you*
I didn't even know this was animated in the beginning...thought it was real!
His expression when he saw the giant fly
Fantastic animation and CG Work
This had me laughing the entire time, quite literally
That was really hilarious. The last time had me rolling😂😂🤣🤣🤣🦎
This is so disgusting and cool at the same time
After he ate that first bug and smirked, I knew this wasn't a regular animation
I NEED TO SEE THE MASSIVE BUG AT THE END
Aahahhaha that last scene, I loved the short film. One of my favorite animals is the chameleon cuz it has the ability to change colors has that awesome independent sight from each eye and a huge hunger, one thing I share with this guy here lol
The accuracy of this is actually spot on. Chameleons really are greedy little reptiles. And messy! Bug guts everywhere!
lol, I think the sounds effects are what make this video so great B-)
The Chameleon, reminds me a little of Scrat when it need to hold it self back :3
love how the movement from realistic “NatGeo documentary nature” to cartoonish 😂
For a while I thought it was real, what an outstanding animation 👏 👌
The butterfly, almost spit out my drink. Funny.
It sure is a wonder how it survived, dude should know Monarchs are poisonous
Love it, thank you for sharing your incredible ability.
Childhood ruining fact: chameleons can't actually change color completely to blend in but can only make certain areas of their body brighter to intimidate another chameleon
And they also change color depending on their mood aswell, but it also takes quite some minutes
SO ADORABLE!!!😂😂❤
This is reminiscent of me in my teenage years at large holiday dinners. 😄
This is up there in quality and humor to compete with the likes of the Rollin' Wild shorts.
Could not stop laughing. Absolutely loved it!
The chameleons face when it see the huge fly 😂😂😂 this is great I love this lol
I love how the chameleon felt sick & changed colors after eating the poisonous monarch butterfly.
That popping sound when it eats the butterfly and all that eeky entrails coming out...you made it look delicious. Im gonna find a butterfly to eat now :D
The chameleon is very sympathetic
The hide by the stick is so cute
Hahaha funny chameleon !
That chameleon just ate that fly whole.
I am learning animation and after seeing this!!! Really hats off to the makers ❤️❤️❤️ its so awesome 👍👍👍
The scene of the fly was hilarious 😂😂😂😂😂
The animation is so beautiful! But... Lmao 😂 i can't stop laughing 🤣 love this! 🤣👌❤️
Great job! I love chameleons, so I enjoyed this.
The animation is so real and love it short film 💖
"Despite all it's advantages, it has yet to develop appropriate countermeasures to it's biggest weakness, it's untamed sense of appetite. It is truly a wonder that this creature has managed to survive." ... ... ...I think chameleons may be my spirit animal.
This animation is sooo realistic! 😱
