How does this only have 190 views? This is awesome, and helpful.
Thank you! 😁
If you enjoy "cartoon realism" as you called it (which I do to), I can wholeheartedly recommend the Bone comic series. I'm sure you know it already, but thought I would mention it just in case.
Oh yeah, Bone is a classic! Thanks for the recommendation. 😃
Good points here, and the illustration does look like it's straight from a scene in the comic. Great work!
Thanks Christopher! It was fun to draw, and a chance to use a brush pen I hadn’t tried in years. 😁
I gotta say, I am really impressed with the line-work on the forest in the corner. It really captures the chaotic order of wild brush in the dead of winter well
Thanks! I’m pretty sure I copied it directly from a C&H strip 😆
@@studiobrushpen I wrote that just after trying to copy one of Watterson's backgrounds. No mean feat, for sure
Well done. You have captured the style perfectly. C&H’s 😀
Wow! I really liked how you bought me back to my Calvin and Hobbes days. I'm going to bring down my hard copies and see if my daughter of 10 will appreciate them now 😄
What a great idea! Let’s share a fantastic comic with a new generation. Thanks! 😃
Awesome idea. Share it so it can continue to live. This was and is my all time favorite comic. So much fun. When I read the first couple I was hooked. Great memories during that time.
I like your video and your illustration definitely embodies C&H’s spirit.
Thank you!
Got a good laugh at your wonderful drawing. New subscriber.
Great video, thanks!
Thanks!
This is really late, but this helped me a lot, also what type of pen did you use in this drawing?
The brand is Sakura/Micron. It’s called a Pigma Brush. 👍
