  • Cant believe someone would send in there boots for a rebuild looking like this

  • OMG I hope there a charged for cleaning the shaft !! I would hand the guy a brush and show him how to care for the boots and if took care of the leather he would only need a resole

  • I keep wondering: in case of a full rebuild, only the upper is re-used. Why go through the trouble of separating the full sole system? The upper would be attached to the sole system in only two quite narrow places per boot, right? If you would start with the razor cutting the stitches of the upper, and leave the entire vamp and counter attached to the sole layers, would it be possible to recover the upper?

  • Is there enough of a cost savings to justify doing the rebuild as opposed to buying a new pair on a rebuild like this, when the only part that is being re-used is the shaft and tongue portion?

    @Q.Q.@Q.Q.Ай бұрын
    • Yeah, it’s like 100$ cheaper which you can save up for the next pair.

  • I love your boots and your videos but I'm truly astonished at the low level of production value on this particular video. I really can't see what's going on from 3:42 > 5:04. The lighting is horrific! This so very easily remedied by a light source of some kind focused towards the subject. You're a brand name million dollar company! Come On! Go get one of your kids who posts on Tik Tok and even they understand basic lighting! This is beneath you. I want to see every nook and cranny of the boot! What you're doing to this boot is nothing short of miraculous don't let the bad lighting ruin our experience. Please. I work in the business and it makes a difference. The thing is that most people don't even realize it. Good lighting is like walking into a well lit room as oppose to a dimly lit room; it affects your mood and influences how you feel about the product. It's simple photography 101, you don't shoot your subject with a bright light source behind them. Please put an actual light on your camera and stop this madness. Look at Rose Anvil's videos!! Please don't tell me you can't make videos as good as his. Pick it up NICKS. Please.

    • Who in their right mind would hold nails with their teeth? You hold them in your lips. It's just steel and a little rust preventing oil. It's fine. Adds a little iron to your system. If they want to do and it makes them more efficient let them.
