Nice car. I had a1971I restored. one of my favorite parts was the fiber optic that lit with the bulbs. I had a 454 with a 4 speed.

This brought me back in time. So, are you the current proud owner? Just a bit of trivia, notice there is no passenger-side rear view mirror. Well, back then you could have had one, but it was an option. Go figure. Shortly after 1971 all Corvettes came standard with two external rearview mirrors. Also, this was an early build. Save the Wave 👋

The right chrome mirror became a dealer installed option in 73. And crazy but it was a long time before the Corvette had standard dual mirrors, 1979 to be exact and they were the painted bullet style. You could order these mirrors as a factory option beginning in 77 and they became standard mid way through the 79 model year.

Where are the windshield wipers?

Hidden under a vacuum operated panel at base of windshield. 68-72 had this system, for 73-up they just hide like normal under back of hood.

luggage rack and antenna = loose both of them - and you will have a winner ! they look cheap .

Luggage rack is not really functional but it OK in my book. I think it is strange that it does not have dual side view mirrors. That would certainly be functional. VN car
