Foggy Headlights Restoration | Old Headlights Cleaning & Repairing

Being an expert in his field, He can restore lights in minutes just using simple tools with hands. Lights are mostly restored by removing a thin layer of lens.
Followings are the Steps For Head Light Restoration
1- Open all Screws & Bolts.
2- Melt & Soften all the adhesives.
3- Disassemble all parts.
4- Wash all the parts with detergent.
5- Spray Paint Reflector (if necessary).
6- Rub 320, 400, 600 & 1000 sandpaper in sequence.
7- Use hard buff & then soft fabric buff.
8- Clean the lens with cloth.
9- Place the lens on place & assemble After melting Adhesive Again.
10- Fasten all the screws & Bolts.
11- Fix Blubs & Check Them.

This works only for headlights with leak on their seal. The leak allows dirt and moisture in. Discolored headlight covers can't be remedied. If you don't see moisture inside your headlight assembly don't waste money having it cleaned. I'm talking from experiences.

I've used the method kit for cloudy lenses if they ain't leaked with condensation sanding with a drill with 800 grit 1000grit then 2000grit worked fine but took a couple hours for one lens .so when I did a experiment with just hand sanding and kept water on lens when sanding with 1000to 2000grit with regular polish for the body works better and is faster with better results .
He's also likes sanding with hands 😍 Yes Dill takes time

Once the head lights discoloured due to UV, polishing remain only for very little period. To prevent it we have to use external coating on lights.
Do you know any Product to coating it for long-term?

You should not clean the headlight reflectors with a cloth, because they are made by vacuum aluminum surfacing and you can destry it. You can clean it with spraying distillated water on reflectors, cheers

heating a spray can up can make it explode and could kill him silly man, but i think it was two different days as one day he had beans and potato the next time he had some noodles
Yes he was aware that heating can explode the can but the can was almost empty & was almost freezing cold, that's why he heated the can before spraying.
