You know what's up when you dent your own car and fix it to prove a point. Savage af.
😂😂 I was thinking the same thing! Makes me want to go dent my car to see if it actually works...lmao! Jokes aside, A+ for demonstration!!
I know right, and still has a little bit of damage left to remember it by

@`CuntHammer Von LoveJuice The Bible teaches that God is holy, just, merciful, gracious, loving, and sole creator(Genesis 1:1, Psalm 24:1). The Bible also teaches that man is born with a dreadful sin nature(Psalm 51:5, Ephesians 2:3) and transgressed God's law(Romans 3:23). Since God is the righteous judge, He will punish sinners according to His eternal standard. According to God's word, that punishment is an eternal, physical, and conscious torment(Daniel 12:2,Matthew 25:41, Matthew 3:12, Revelations 14:10-11, Revelations 20:10) in Hell-separated forever from the goodness of God. The good news is that God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ who is equally eternal(John 1:1) and equal in rank and importance(John 5:18, John 10:30) to the Father and the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin to be the means for escape from the domain of darkness and wrath of God for those who repent and believe the gospel. Jesus lived a sinless life and voluntarily and lovingly died on the cross by taking upon Himself our sin and the wrath of God that His elect deserve. Jesus was buried and resurrected(1 Corinthians 15:1-5) on the third day from the grave- demonstrating His power over sin and death and is seated at the right hand of the Father (Ephesians 1:20-23). Your good works or deeds of the Law are not sufficient. Jesus who is fully God and fully man is the complete and perfect sacrifice. It is not grace plus merit, faith plus works, or even Christ plus unrighteous man that will justify the sinner. As a vile wretch, you can be be justified(declared right before God) by only free grace alone, through faith alone and in Christ alone(Romans 3:28, Ephesians 2:8-9). Will you repent(a change of mind that results in the abandonment of sin and turning to the Lord Jesus Christ) and trust in this unchanging Gospel(Mark 1:15) or will you remain an enemy of God?

Watched it, picked up my plunger, a bowl of cold water, walked to my car and literally pulled out two huge dents. I would recommend cold water when the car is hot coz that plunger sticks like a magnet. I've had the dents for months but didnt know the way to fix it. Thank you for the info bro.
I appreciate someone willing to try different things on a vehicle so that I don’t have to experiment on mine and possibly make things worse. Ignore the snarky comments - some of us out here are glad you made this video so that we could see the results!

Thank you again for this. Could you just stick your plunger in water to get the seal prior to plunging?
“And now I’m gona have to run before the neighbor sees what I’ve done to his car.”
That would be HILARIOUS 😂😂

Good luck running away with that sore knee.
Reading your comment has made my day.
🤣🤣🤣
You can also remove any paint scratches from the other cars paint by using a soft rag or cotton ball and non acetone nail polish remover. It doesn't damage the paint and it removes the scuff marks really well. I've done it for years. Just be sure it is NON acetone and not regular nail polish remover
The scratch doctor works wonders too
or use toothpaste
This video demonstrated the technique and the reason for it in such a simple easy to follow way. Thank you.
My Dad taught this trick to me growing up. It's a great way to try & fix it yourself before going to get it done at a body shop. It's worked for me a few times over the years. Thanks for explaining the process so others can try.
U must be really bad at driving then
@@fayez. yknow man it's not always the drivers fault i just got hit by a crackhead who wasn't paying attention and now i have to watch a video on using a toilet plunger to remove a dent. how unfortunate
@Rotten Potatoes jesus that's not good man. I also just backed into my brothers car and now I have to buff out a scratch 😐. Good luck on fixing your truck btw.
I love how close the Dodge is parked to the Audi.... I also love how he says "Something Biological" haha. This is why I love your videos. Great in-depth, and a little bit of humor.
Thanks
YOU NOTICED THAT TOO?? LOL! MAN, THIS GUY IS SO DEDICATED TO HELPING PEOPLE WITH VEHICLE DENTS THAT HE SACRIFICED HIS OWN RIDE, LOL!!
Lol i was thinking that dent could've been from hitting/going into the bumper of another car while backing up. Then when he said biological, i was like oh yea well that too
Biological = mother-in-law :)
I used this method on a dent on the rear end of my car. A week later I got rear ended. Life is weird.
That's why I'm always hesitant to spend money to fix exterior damage. Or even to get it waxed for that matter.
@@josiashernandez2855 no ramen
Josias Hernandez I used cold water. It worked. The plunger is the cremé de la cremé
Law of Attraction
I got rear ended twice in the same week :(
Thanks for the tip on why hot water isn't good for the clear coat. Other videos did not explain the when or why about damage it can cause.
I have heard of this being used in the past , but never actually seen it done , nice work
4:56 Do you reckon you could park those vehicles any closer together?
yes
Lmao new dent to pull out
LMAO, I saw that too.
Optical illusion.. the red thing is actually behind the car and just lined in the shot right behind the car
Suppose you guys could do better huh?
thanks for the tip about using just cold water. worked on getting a dent out of my driver side door.
Fill the largest plunger you can find with boiling water then apply the full plunger to the dent while keeping as much water trapped against the dent. After 45 seconds the waters heat will have transferred to the metal making it as soft as is possible.
Thanks hopefully it works
@@thestrangepersonnooneknows2921 Did it work?
@@morgandutton1732 No
The plunger needs suction so filling it with water probably won’t work.
This will probably mess up the clear coat, maybe even the paint.
best dent video on youtube. great explanations as well. thank you.
I can’t believe this is actually working, with such a little effort you are saving a lot of time and money. Pls share the link of these products, manyautosltd.com is my car doctor I would recommend you next time
A dry plunger wont do much good. Pour water over top of plunger to seat it. Window suction cups also grip much better, they are used to transport heavy pieces of glass so they obviously have good suction.
I’m glad he showed him not being able to do it too and even explained the science behind it
I believe everything in this video because I could see your face...

HaHa like the other videos where they have to have the camera up close in their face most of the time. I don't even show myself in my videos if I can help it lol
HAHAHAHA!!! OH MY GOD I LOVE THE SARCASM! THANK YOU IM LOSING IT RIGHT NOW! FUCKEN FUNNY! PEACE BRO
How to basic?
You can also use a heat gun for the bumper and shape the bumper back into place. Add cold water to the bumper area affected and it will work.
I think you may get smaller dents out with a smaller suction device. Possibly those that you use to hang towels on etc.
Thank you for your video and demonstration. I've tried it on my car and it work. Thank you again. I recommend it to everyone.
Question: Was yours metal or that plastic material ?
This video was much needed. I bought my fixer upper with a small dent in the rear door and ive been super self conscious about it as the rest of the car is absolutely prestine
Ahh man same exact scenario for me. Did the trick work?
thanks for the tip about not using boiling water
hi, I thik boiling water or heat in general expands the base metal. when the expanded metal in the dent area is surrounded by cold metal that doesnt expand, it creates a situation in which the hot metal expands like a curved line between two anchor points. it goes further in but with the help of a plunger it is pulled out more easily because of the spring-like effect. you are right about the right type of dent. if the dent has some abrupt angles, this method fails. the perimeter of the dent has to have smooth curves
I’ve done this several times. I didn’t use hot water the water just makes a better suction. A better way is using a suction cup made to hold or pick things up. There is also a vacuum system with a cup you can use that uses a vacuum pump to pull dents out. Works really good.
aka.....PDR Tools
Excellent explanation and science. Good job!
Great tutorial and explanation - thanks 👍
Self-confidence on a different level! Denting own car to prove a hypothesis! Haha!! :D If the temperature should help, I'd use a bath towel over the bent area and soak it with the boiling water to get the boiling water to actually raise the temperature of the metal panel. I think heating the panel should help avoid clear coat cracking in the process... Hot water works with plastic for sure ;)
That was very funny but educational video thanks. I actually knees my truck and just popped it from in side but didn’t want to reck the paint with hot water so glad I watched.
Really enjoy the channel and the tips that you'd provide
Thank you for a great and informative video
Always helpful videos!!! Thank You.
Thanks, nice to know this - I learned from it. Does it work on rock dings? Smaller than the plunger? I will try it on the hood of my car (cold water of course).
At time stamp 2;35 and in most of the subsequent pulls, you can see that the plunger is pushed so hard against the sheet metal, that the outer lip of the plunger that is supposed to seal the vacuum gets lifted, thus not creating a seal. When the pull of the plunger happens abruptly, the there is still quiet some air inside, so the vacuum is weak and there is very little pull of the sheet metal.
I like that video tip, and will remember it if I get a small dent on my vehicles which I might be able to pull out and remember not to try it in freezing weather. Thanks for showing us how we may be able to complete the dent removal.
Very creative! Thinking out of the box. Plunger! So original !
I saw a Johnny Carson show back in the early 70's when I was a kid and this old man brought in a car to which he said he had built himself. He showed how the plastic aluminum to which he said he had manufactured in his lab would repell any dents made on this particular car just by using a water hose and watering it the dents just popped out. His car ran on solar cells and electric magnetic energy. No motors no gears. He said his wheels were made out of a hemp and cardboard fiber. It didn't need brakes as the control was fabricated to move and stop at any speeds, something like a volume control.
I tried it. And It worked. So happy. Thank you so much!
Long Tran USA thanks for watching Wong Long Man Tran!
Excellent thx for dealing with the boiling water issues
I just fixed a dent on my car... after I watched OTHER VIDEOS and the first part of YOUR VIDEO, where the dent on the AUDI was about same locale as on my TOYOTA .... I did not continue watching, only AFTER THE FIX.....lol Well.... I need to make some comments... I tried, a while back, to fix the dent by pounding it from the INSIDE of the trunk... it did not work well... today, a few minutes ago, I tried the HOT WATER trick.. and it worked WELL... You are partially right when you claim that ONE SHOULD NOT USE HOT WATER.... BUT, that is true for some case, like the dent on your RED TRUCK... also you ARE RIGHT about the ambient TEMPERATURE ... The reason I decided to try the HOT WATER TRICK is... here in "KALIFORNIA" it is WARM! Also, my understanding of Physics and the LOCATION & TYPE OF DENT! THE HOT WATER causes the METAL to EXPAND and this EXPANSION seems to help this type of dented area to RECOIL to its original state EASIER.... I did not even use a plunger... I just pounded it WITH MY HAND from inside the trunk! It just popped into position, WHILE IT IT DID NOT when NO HOT WATER WAS USED... GOOD VIDEO overall.. BEST
One of the coolest guys on KZhead
I have done this many times over the years but as for small dents it, s not that easy. Best to do this when the weather is warm or hot. Alan.
Great, honest commentary - and it works. The glue sticks work as well. Unfortunately there is no cure for idiocy of the plonker who reversed into me and then gave a dodge number.
True
the hot water is to soften the paint so that it doesnt crack. you can also use a heat gun. you DO want to warm the paint before any sort of dent removal because it can crack.
just heat up little bit with water or even better heatgun because clear tends to crack less or to avoid cracking completly but yes dry wet cold warm you can pull ti out pretty easy
I've fixed dented plastic bumper covers using a hair dryer and pushing the dent out from behind and works every time.
What car do you have? Can I use it on my car hatch
Your video inspired me to try to plunger trick on the dent in my Acura TL. No creases in the metal. Was only pushed in. I used a dry plunger without the hot water. The dent was caused by me hip-checking my rear quarter panel when I lost my balance when walking on a broken curb while mowing edge of my lawn. The dent pulled out perfectly with one pull on the plunger.
Thanks for the informative video!
get different size plungers to create suction, take a little more time with the water, if you live somewhere pretty hot the water going on may be no hotter than spraying water on and letting it heat up, boiling water won't hurt the paint anywhere near as much as sanding the paint off to fix the dent. Thanks for the vid

I'm going to try it today. Whether it works for me or more this was a very good video
thank you so much for a honest demonstration :) i think this is gonna help me a lot :)
This is really use ful but the only thing I didn't use the water at all but love this 😎🔥🙅🤷🙆
I've heard that you can also use dish soap to get a good seal. Do you know if this works?
Do it on a hot sunny afternoon. Seems to work better. Pulled a big oil can type dent on a Yaris hatchback. Some plungers work better than others. The old school type with the wide flat lip seal better.
Excellent and thanks alot for your vedio
It's a dam shame we pay all this money to roll around in basically a big plastic shell🙄🤔 Thank you for the info. I have 3 pots on the stove right now lol
very interesting, thank you ...
So many uses for a plunger! Who knew?? Great job ! I recommend a new plunger 😂
A very educational video. Thanks
This video is all types of wild. I’m going to try this tomorrow, thanks!

How do fix a small dent on a rear pillar beside the windscreen? That would be more difficult, I think, than those big dents on larger surfaces.
Does this trick work on newer car with plasticy material? Do you use a sink or toilet plunger,?
The hot water helps to make the metal softer and more flexible, as well as helps the plunger stick
LOL @ 5:00... Thumbs up all the way man. Good video
This was awesome! Thank you!
Or used blower heating gun like a blow dryer .....works all the time , especially on them corner bumper😊
Hey great video does it work for small dents
great advise, thanks heaps!

Heating the area (hot water) helps keep the paint from cracking. He neglects this.
I need to do this to damn near my whole car.. I might need a 55 gallon drum of boiling water
Lmao
You can use (if u have) strong magnet. Put magnet in to some material, can be old t-shirt and stick to dent, and pull. :)
Many thanks. I'm going to give it a go!
Thank you!
what do you think about using harbor freight pnematic dent puller plus hot water??
Thanks for the video cheers

2:51 this part killed me because the whole time I could see in your face that you knew it wouldn't work😂
The boiling water would be half the temperature as soon as you poor it over the panels anyway. If you really need to heat up the panels you could use a heatgun.
I tried to knee my car and dent it. Now I can't fix it! Thanks a lot!

I went to a body shop to have an estimate on 2 dents on my car hood $650 plus time in the shop and a rental car. Found this video bought a mini plunger as the dents were maybe palm size from my child standing on my hood. Tried just the plunger it would pull and pop back like it was, put the hot water on it pulled it popped out and stayed out. Is it perfect no but cannot see anything unless you get eye level and are looking. Saved me $650 and a rental plus the hassle. Thanks....
Sir does it happen really?
I was quoted $6700 for 3 small dents and 1 fist size dent.
robbie miller damn I could get my whole car repainted and the dents and scratches fixed for that price. Someone’s trying to finesse you lol
Privateo Privy I live in Hawaii so it’s easy to find shops that do quality work and not try to rob you like that lol. But if you or anyone can tell me, wouldn’t paintless dent removal be cheaper than going to a shop to get it repainted etc? I’ve seen comments on PDR videos saying they cost more than going to shops and repainting the area?
Damn bro, taking one for the team @3:46

will this work on small dents on metal as well?
I tried this long back and it worked, the down side is paint over that area will get peeled off with in next one or two years.
