I could see it being Thunderbolts with a tagline. Like."Captain America: The Winter Soldier." I think they're just going to end up doing that instead of renaming the whole movie.

I still remember the old videos of Ryan pitching theories of Dark Avengers and Thunderbolts based off of the shows and movies even before the announcement of Thunderbolts movie at SDCC. Now it comes full circle as he still theorizes how both could be merged into one single team by putting together the essence of both into the movie. Love the Screencrush team!
Fun trivia: Ross led a team of Thunderbolts for about 22 issues, including himself, The Punisher, Ghost Rider, Elektra, Agent Venom, and Deadpool.

When she said “kid superheroes” I get what they meant but kind of cringed for the first time actually in the mcu. Don’t try to tell younger gen stories, just continue to do good stories with younger characters- (wait, how old was Steve when he got frozen?)
@adamherrick6077 He was 27 when he was frozen. Basically right in line with how old Shang Chi will be when we see him again. Kate Bishop was 22 in Hawkeye, so she'll be close to that age too. Peter and Kamala are still younger. Kamala is still only 16 in The Marvels.

The Wyoming Avengers would definitely be called the Yellowstone Avengers. They'd mostly be doing park rangers stuff and making sure people don't get too close to bison.

Dude now that u mention it. That could be a pretty cool way to get those guys. Coz Norman's pretty important even outside Spiderman. They'll change the origin story a bit in the sense u don't need oscorp, but u could still retain the essence of the characters along with Harry Osborne.

I know a lot of work and money has gone into it, but Julia Louis-Dreyfus is seriously so pretty right now and is absolutely perfect in the role as a shady government agent. The costuming is also great, like she really looks like what you imagine a spy to look like, which is perfect comic-book style.

I'm not sure how I'd feel about seeing Sam Wilson seemingly die at the end of Brave New World after all that amazing character development during Falcon and the Winter Solider. But if it played out something like this, I suppose the initial shock of seeing Sam lose could have a greater payoff when seeing Ross' lies be exposed. I also really hope Ghost and Red Guardian don't die as they're already underused characters, and I would really like to see them in Avengers 5 and Secret Wars.
Red Guardian and US Agent have essentially the same power set, so likely only one would need to die for this storyline to work

I like this approach very much of Ross tacking Osborne place. The only thing I am concerned about is Fords contract. We all saw what happened in Star Wars and his demands. I am just hoping he is not contracted for just one appearance.
i mean, the man is almost 82. i can't really see him agreeing to some crazy Chris Evans/Sam Jackson 10-film deal. although, if he is going Red Hulk, then they really only need one or two movies out of him before the CGI and voice acting take over.

No, they're making Black Widow 2 Featuring the Super Soldiers. The Dark Avengers and Thunderbolts are supposed to be villains posing as heroes, this movie isn't that.
i like the idea of bucky and yelena breaking off. definitely intrigued how all of them could get convinced to work together in the first place.
Since Marvel Studios unfortunately doesn't own the IP to Spider-Man or any adjacent characters like Norman Osborn, subsisting him with Ross as a key antagonist actually is a really great idea. It keeps the focus on the idea that the governments in the MCU are just becoming more antagonistic and hostile towards superheroes. And honestly, I think the real reason why the MCU is portraying the governments in this way is to prove Magneto's point right that humanity is inferior even before he makes his MCU debut.

Kinda sad Earth 616 doesn’t have a Norman Osborn. I was always hoping it was Oscorp that bought the old Avengers tower.
And all of this is stopped by Tony Stark who kills the other universe with a button in his lab, just like the comic book universe, where he did this, and became the bad guy on purpose, and was run off by the avengers, and the new iron man was Rhode's Daughter in the future, who came back to the past to rectify the situation. You know, once Deadpool brings Tony Stark back in Deadpool 3 by sacrificing himself to snap the endgame battle away, and bringing back Tony as the Crux character of the 616 who had to survive in order for the 616 not to die.
It's Thunderbolts in name only. Dark Avengers would make more sense but it's not Dark Avengers because these characters aren't evil or villainous. It's just Black Widow 2 featuring Super Soldiers because people wouldn't go see a Black Widow 2 that just used the original cast.

I think they are setting up a situation where Red Hulk Ross will be decimated or even just outright killed during or at the end of Thunderbolts. I heard rumor of a possible World War Hulk and killing Red Hulk will being Ross to rest which really is the best. It's not a bad idea to bring in Ford to cover for Hurt but you don't want it for too long of a stretch. Who knows but I'll put my neck out there that if any of the Thunderbolts must die it will be Ross, the Red Hulk(besides didn't his daughter Betty also become a Red Hulk in the comics?)❤🔥😻⚡️🤜🤛👍💖

My ideal lineup for this team would be military types like U.S. Agent, Abomination, Bullseye, Zemo, Eric O'Grady, & Ares.
The current lineup with the exception of Walker just doesn't seem right given where their characters are. Bucky, Yelena, & Red Guardian following morally questionable orders from the US government makes no sense at this point, while Ghost and Taskmaster's character arcs were all about escaping from the role of being killers following orders.
Plus, my lineup has a more balanced power set. A mix of a super soldier, a gamma monster, a god, a size-shifter, an master marksman, and a spy type are much more interesting than a team where half of them have the same super soldier powers
No shot they kill off Captain America in this movie, Anthony Mackie's first Captain America movie. Maybe they make him look like he died or something but no way they actually kill him. And you can absolutely bet on Red Hulk getting killed off in this movie, in the typical Marvel fashion-- they don't know how to use their Villains other than as fodder to die off in a 1 movie appearance.

Thunderbolts*, is def Dark Avengers and the plot is Red Hulk/ Ross leads a team whose mission is to lead an attack on New Asguard. Ross ran on a campaign to rid the world of aliens and xenophobia (sound familiar?). The team will not be the line up you think, and a few members will die during the battle. This causes Red Hulk to personally join the fight where he battles Thor.
