Terraria’s journey mode is nothing compared to Minecraft creative mode. Sure journey mode allows you to in theory if you have collected and duplicated every object use every object like the creative mode menu, and it allows you to manipulate time and weather and other things, and it allows you to become indistractible and invincible but creative mode has commands such as /kill which, depending on which Minecraft version this takes place, and would kill the terrarian Edit: ok I get it enough pls lol

I want to argue that in the hypothetical if steve had used creative mode the terrarian would have made it a tie by simply turning pvp off this is a classic strategy when you are losing against another player in terraria.

There is also the fact that by endgame the terrarian can fly INFINITELY, he would be too fast for Steve to even touch him, let alone hit him with the mace. Even a melee terraria player would have too much range

what's the conversion? I mean if you wanted to convert it based on the max health of the terrarian, you'd have to multiply by 30 (since in Minecraft you have 10 hearts, with each being worth 2 HP, or a total of 20 HP). That means with the dragon, having 200 HP/100 Hearts, would convert to 6000 health, not 1000. The Wither would be 9000, the Warden would be 15000, and the Iron Golem would be 3000. So they all sound about early to pre-mid game for a Terrarian based on my math. :) @@bruh-it1or

@@nobody..--. That's why I said early to pre mid game level, like around or a little past Skeletron, but not by much. I mean think about it, Minecraft is undeniably easier than Terraria, and it doesn't help (or does?) that Terraria has a healthier and much diverse set of bosses compared to MC. MC is a building and exploration game first before it's a combat game. Terraria is about the insane rush of combat and progressing through bosses with a variety of options. MC doesn't really have that as much.
@creeperkinght1144 ok so ez win for terrarian cause Summoner If queen bee killed then bee armor and imp staff and skeletal tap or the jungle whip Ranger has megashark Melee the volcano, the blade of grass and the world evil blade Mage has space gun and meteor armor All of these either attack really fast or do a lot if damage (like over 30) while the best minecraft weapon has about 10 dmg and is slow and has not much range and blade of grass in 1.4.4 has a projectile (also maces yoyos and boomerangs exist) So all except for melee just run and attack

@KINGVENEDITZ creative mode works on any server/world in Minecraft, but journey mode works only in journey worlds they are completely different. Creative mode has every item available immediately and gives you access to items unobtainable in survival, while in journey mode, you'll still have to try to get the items first before you can get unlimited amounts of them.
Not to mention that the commands are part of Steve's power and not just mechanical as the command block appeared in story mode too
Steve just wanted to explore this new world he found, he even tried to make peace at the beginning. Sad to see him die, but I completely understand the power difference

Steve has 20hp (10 hearts) The Handgun deals 26 base damage (we'll assume it's not reforged) The bullet was yellow Normal bullets (Musket Balls) are orange The only bullets that have the collor yellow when shot are the following: Silver Bullets - 9 damage Golden Bullets - 10 damage High Velicocity Bullets - 11 damage Ichor Bullets - 13 damage Total damage numbers: Silver - 35 damage Golden - 36 damage HV - 37 damage Ichor - 39 damage Golden and Ichor Bullets apply debuffs on hit: Golden - Midas: The target drops more money on death Ichor - Ichor: The target gets their defense reduced Both effects make the target glow Yellow / Golden, so these can be discarded. Based on the length of the bullet's trail means that it's a HV Bullet. Meaning that the Terrarian dealt 37 damage to Steve (not counting the posibility for a low hit or a critical hit), wich should have been a one shot If you argue for Stat equalization then steve has 100hp instead of 20hp (giving him 50 hearts or 5 Terraria hearts) This means that steve could have survived the shot. Now here's the thing: less than a minute later the Terrarian uses Razorblade Typhoon Wich is a Late-game Hardmode drop from Duke Fishron meaming that the Terrarian scales to late game (wich means that they have arround 400-500hp, or around 200-250 Minecraft hearts) They could also have armor since there's the causal clothes vanity set, wich hides armor We'll assume that they're not using armor, since it would make the handgun or Razorblade Typhoon deal more damage based on what they're wearing. The Razorblade Typhoon deals 85 base damage (assuming that there won't be any low or critical hits since then the damage would range between 70 and 180 damage) We can see that the Terrarian launches 4-8 proyectiles, each one dealing the previously mentioned damage each time they hit (since they home into and pierce the target) Meaning that steve is dead before 2:00 minutes no matter what since you cannot Stat equalize his stats to the Late-game Terrarian because steve can't increase his stats and he can't hide his armor. Checkmate But Steve had a Totem of Undying and now has diamond armor and a diamond sword (even through you need to HOLD the Totem in you hand for It to work, but anyways) Diamond armor gives an 80% damage reduction meaning that the Terrarian needs to deal 500 terraria damage to kill him (If they're equalized) If diamond armor has an 80% damage reduction. This cannot be equalized to Terraria's defense system, since it uses flat damage substraction instead of multiplicative substraction The Terrarian uses the melee based Hallowed armor wich has 50 defense, reducing all damage taken by 25/38/50 points (based on the difficulty). The diamond sword deals 7 damage per hit. However we'll equalize it. If Steve's 20hp becomes 100hp (5x increase). Then the 7 damage from his sword deals 35 damage (5x increase) If the world is in Expert or Master mode, then the Terrarian would only recieve 1 point of damage each hit that Steve deals. But we'll be generous and say that it's in Normal mode and Steve would deal 10 damage each hit Minecraft's defense looses 4% negation each 2 damage points (10 equalized) however, it can never go below 20% of the armor's base reduction. The terrarian uses the Excalibur sword, wich deals 100 damage. So Steve has ~60% Each hit would deal 40~ damage The terrarian landed three hits (120 damage total). This should have killed Steve, specially because steve lost his helmet after the first hit, loosing arround 12% (so now it's 68% - 20%= 48) meaning that the real damage was 40+52+52=144. So if we took numbers seriously, then nothing after the middle point of the fight would have happened But it doesn't matter if the purpose is fun over logic here! This is just a fan animation, not a DEATHBATTLE episode! Great work, dude! Keep it up 👏👏👏

Steve: I have a cool diamond sword that does like 7 damage or something and some diamond armour! Terrarian: I have a sword that does thousands of damage and can slaughter celestial entities within seconds(Zenith) and armour made from the remants of dead stars and an ore dropped by a being that controls the entire moon. ..... Besides the jokes, decent animation.
I feel like Steve is still stronger (I've played both games so I'm not really biased) because he can carry quadrillions of pounds of gold, while sprinting, jumping a meter into the air without bending his legs, or swimming at an Olympic pace. Not to mention the raw strength it takes to lift all of those! So what I think is that Steve could break bedrock, one-shot mobs, and do things far more easily, but he doesn't, because the tools he uses can't handle the stress.
@BattleGuy03 Terrarian has shown similar feats too, they are capable of carrying 9999 items + 40 inventory slots consisting of gold or different materials that far exceeds Netherite and Gold in weight.
@@WhenIOmor There isn't too much in the portable storage department in terraria (there's 4) so that's only 4 extra inventories of weight but seeing that those can also hold 9999 with extra 40 slots still holds up it's end in terms of weight

The terraria universe is also infinite as it’s directly stated to contain an “uncountable” amount of worlds (planets). If you assume each universe within a solar fragment contains the same cosmolgy as the base universe, you basically get an infinite recursion of infinite multiversal constructs due to a solar pillar existing in each Infinite universe, which contains up to 60 more infinite universes, each of which contains ANOTHER solar pillar which contains up to 60 more infinite universes, and the cycle repeats infinitely giving us a multi+ cosmology lmao

It's Hyperbolic; and it's a statement. Both of which are important, especially the latter. Statements alone do *not* qualify the feat itself: especially so if contradicted. Instead, the statements must be used in supporting in this case. Besides. The *fury* of VS the *Energy or power* of is also there. 2: You make a *heavy* assumption building off the semantics of this prior; uncountable doesn't mean infinite. 3: Continuing on with the same line of reasoning, you make the extremely bold assumption that the solar fragment now contains the cosmological setting; That and that the fragment *has* a universe in it. 2 huge assumptions. 4: Afterwards, you use this to build the cosmology size. It's a weird argument, especially in the conjunction of the former points; ultimately even assuming your reasoning were valid, it wouldn't be infinite. Infinite is quite the reach. 5: Terrarian clearly displays hard limitations within his abilities: he's actually quite built up well in his scaling. For starters, Moon lord unsurprisingly caps at around moon to dwarf star levels. You really think that he's hurting a being who has the durability of "several universes" within him, or withstanding that power? No. Because his limitations are pressed at what his actually in lore feats are, paired with his calcuable ones. 6: This scaling ultimately breaks quite a lot. Why are you hurt by anything (Notably dynamite) if you're several universes busted? There's a lot of issues with this, is all.

i love this animation. it kinda sucks that people always gotta argue about which mascot they like more winning in fights like these. and to the fellas out there saying steve would win simply because he's a 3d character: watch the terraria credits, you see a NPC named the skeleton merchant reach into a bone pile from the front, throw bones to the sides and behind him, before finally turning around and pulling out the slap hand (terraria comedy item). This alone proves they live in a 3 dimensional world, you just experience it from the 2nd dimension
@AlphaBeta-rf4zvIn terraria at night you can also see inaccessible demon eyes(or Eyes of Cthulhu?) flying in the background. They don't affect gameplay but they once again prove that terraria is actually a 3D world.
There's also the fact that the Terrarian's very sprite has depth shading, when 2d objects have no depth by definition

game mechanics mentioned: 0:31 crouch spamming is usually recognized as a form of communication. The Terrarian was quite rude for not emoting back. 0:37 trees broken in minecraft don't fall or collapse, instead the top of the tree would simply float in midair. 0:47 you normally need a wand to place logs in terraria, but in minecraft you can place them as is and have to craft them into planks. 1:09 really don't understand why no tiles were broken by the TNT, since they do destroy blocks in Minecraft. 1:22 welcome to America. 1:25 that is a Starfury, a sword that can drop stars from the sky when swung. 1:29 the stars *can* go through blocks, but they don't go through blocks too close to the targeted location. 1:32 making this formation of 4 iron blocks and a carved pumpkin (regular pumpkin in bedrock) creates an iron golem, which hits hard and is a damage sponge. 1:34 the iron golem only attacks players if attacked first, so the Terrarian had to provoke it by comedically bumping into it. 1:41 Steve is seen here wielding a trident, which can be enchanted with an enchantment called riptide, allowing for a powerful dash when there is water, capable of launching the wielder up into the air. He should've taken fall damage, however, and I think it'll make more sense if he swapped to the mace on the way down but whiffs anyway. 1:42 The Terrarian is seen using two weapons, the Razorblade Typhoon, and the Keybrand. The Razorblade typhoon fires homing water spheres and the keybrand does more damage the lower the enemy's health, which is why he is seen here using it to finish Steve off. Both of these weapons are *very* late game in progression and a major skip from the earlier weapons (post-duke fishron/plantera vs the handgun which is only post-skeletron) so it's no surprise Steve stood no chance against these weapons. 1:48 This is a totem of undying, which revives a player and gives them a shield for roughly half their health for a few seconds, and faster regeneration for the next 45 seconds or so, when they are taken to zero health. The effect triggers instantly in game, but if it did that here instead of after the terrarian leaves, Steve would've just died. 1:53 Steve flies by the Terrarian with the elytra to catch up, using a firework rocket as the sfx is played. 1:55 Diamond armor and sword. 2:01 Hallowed armor and excalibur. 2:06 since damage values in Terraria are so high in hardmode progression compared to Minecraft, the Terrarian with the excalibur is seen here breaking Steve's armor in just 2 or 3 hits. 2:08 Celestial Starboard, the fastest "wings" in Terraria. 2:13 A very relatable moment, as in Terraria, it's always the one stray enemy that gets you when you're focusing on a threat. 2:20 Minecraft's world is played in 3 dimensions, but the Terrarian still retains his 2D sprite, although with forward and backwards facing sprites now. Though they aren't as cursed this time. 2:29 Death Sickle. It seems like Steve has opened Creative mode here, as he is shown to be impervious to attacks. 2:36 Terraria's mace does a very high amount of knockback for when it's obtained, but for some reason the flail knocks Steve away even though the Death Sickle before that has higher knockback values didn't make him budge. An inconsistency caused by creative freedom, as knocking people away with a flail with a giant spiky ball makes more sense than knocking people away with a sickle. 2:40 A command block in Minecraft, allows "commands" which are basically in game cheats to be executed. You need to be the operator of the server to alter the command, however. 2:50 These "cheats" allow for various things, such as spawning blocks at specific location. (Command typed: /execute @a[name=veryrudeterrariaguy] setblock ~ ~5 ~ minecraft:anvil) 2:54 Obsidian, which is very slow to mine in Minecraft, via the /fill command. Realistically it would be more of a cube as it is generated from a single command block. 3:02 Steve is trying to trap the Terrarian in lava, but Terraria's explosives and bombs can destroy obsidian, something Minecraft explosives can't do. 3:05 Solar Flare armor, an endgame Terraria armor. 3:22 /summon command which can spawn entities near a target player or entity with /execute. 3:26 Bedrock pillar via /fill, which is unbreakable in Minecraft. 3:30 Not something the command block can do, but funny nonetheless. 3:35 a full set of Solar Flare armor generates a shield which gives damage reduction and a dash that inflicts massive damage to enemies it collides with. 3:39 swiftness potion, increases speed by 25%. 3:45 the Solar shield and its damage reduction gives extremely high defense and makes the Terrarian impervious to everything Steve throws at him via the command block. Here the Terrarian is hit twice and pops both charges of the shield. 3:50 Pogo stick mount. 3:53 Sergeant United shield. Yes, it's a parody of Captain America. 3:56 My suspicions are confirmed. 4:05 Netherite armor, best armor in Minecraft, and a Golden Apple, which grants damage absorption and regeneration. 4:07 Terra blade, one of the best and most iconic swords in Terraria. In the next shot, however, the sprite was changed to the First Fractal, an unobtainable item. 4:19 Phantasm + Luminite arrows. Normally they pierce, so the shield shouldn't be effective against them. 4:30 "Stamp (Upward Cut)" 4:33 The Zenith, the best sword in Terraria, capable of slaying eldritch gods in mere seconds. Though the attack pattern is more akin to the first fractal in this case, once again due to creative freedom. 4:48 "You are a terrible person."

Because it's not true, Terrarian has no connection with commands unlike Steve since command blocks appeared in parallel Minecraft universes and this includes them in the lore

Terraria is focused much more on combat and strength building. Minecraft is based more on sandboxing and building. They appeal to similar yet different play styles. Though If you put them in a fight such as this, it’s much more one sided that cinimatic flare would make it seem. Due to terraria being combat focused, and Minecraft doesn’t even have enemy scaling.

Meanwhile there's also the Ruthless modifier (more damage than legendary), 6 menacing modifiers (if Master Mode), and the Molten armor, my math is giving me 62, meaning that a fully armored Steve could take one hit from the Fiery Greatsword or Night's Edge and survive with 7-8 hp (this is without protection or resistance, just diamond armor).

Officially one of the coolest and stupidest Terraria VS Minecraft battle that I ever saw, mostly because damage value from both of these games very VERY different like for example 10 damege in Minecraft is very a lot while in Terraria its just funny number and thats it.And no, im not telling thet animation is bad, no its probably was very hard to make and some moments ware very E P I C , it's just looks weird when steve survives weapon that deals over 60 damage and when terrarian suffers to things that in Terraria is nothing

I thought this animation was pretty good, but when they shifted to minecraft it became extremely impressive. I'm surprised you could make such good things, as getting the terrarian to fit in 3d sounds painful
Let's be real, if this was an actual scenario where using cheats such as journey mode/creative mode or commands/journey mode menu , the terrarian had an absurdly high advantage (not considering the hp and dmg difference) due to the fact that terrarian can simply just fly forever with high speeds simply by just using soaring instignia and starboard. I love both games tho!
Restore machines that break the game. Also, Steve can use the mace to one shot, the terrarian. The damage is based on the highest point you've gone to without touching the ground

Even in journey mode, Steve, using commands destroys the terrarian assuming this is Java edition Steve, and not bedrock edition, because on Java edition, using /kill, kills players, even in creative mode when they are completely invulnerable but then again Java addition, Steve also does to the void so he’s not completely invulnerable Maybe this should’ve been terrarian versus bedrock Steve lol
@@stargazer-elite the problem here is that those games are written in different coding languages, hell even characters are saved differently in both games, so neither steve's kill command nor terrarian's kill command(there is such thing) would work against one another

Keep in mind that neither of these 2 are actually fighting seriously. Like, I feel like the Terrarian could have brought more bang than Steve, but Steve didn't bring a fricking fishing rod! These 2 were clearly Amateurs. While the pro's where having fun talking with each other and having tea, or something.

Got curious how much damage each of them have dealt to each other over the course of the fight so I did the math: (This is assuming MC and Terraria hp are 1:1(maybe wrong)) Ps. I'll round down Round 1 1.) the Terrarian gets blown up by TNT. TNT deals 65 damage 2.) Steve gets blown up by his own TNT. TNT deals 65 damage 3.)Terrarian gets hit by Iron Golem. Golem deals 4-11 damage (depends on difficulty) 4.) Steve gets shredded by multiple razorblade typhoons. By my count he got hit at least 20x. Razorblade typhoon deals 85 × 20 = 1,700 damage 5.) Steve gets hit by the Keybrand. Keybrand deals 105 damage. Total round damage: Terrarian: 69 - 76 damage Steve: 1870 damage Round 2 Steve dons a full set of diamond armor. Blocks 80% of damage taken Due to armor toughness, a minimum of 16 damage is required to deal any real damage. Terrarian dons a full set of hallowed armor. Blocks 50 damage and increases damage by 7% (we will ignore that it can negate damage) 1.) Steve gets hit by the Excalibur thrice. 72+7%=77-80%=15
Since Armor Toughness exists Steve's armor wouldn't even protect him from 80% of damage all the time

@@randomuser.5356 after taking into account armor toughness, I have discovered that it only takes effect twice during the fight. Once when Steve is hit with a mace dealing 3 damage. And another when he is hit with the true Excalibur dealing 12 damage. I will now edit the results.
