Obviously the discord bot wins because it didn't claim to know how to do something it doesn't know how to do, and when it did explain how to do something, it got it right. Accuracy over quantity, always
I think discord bot could give a guide about how to build the other ones, purplers just asked if he could build it, he didn't ask if the bot could give him instructions on how to build it.
The discord bot meant to say it literally cannot just hop in Minecraft and build Purple a redstone build.

I think the problem here was how you structure your prompts (especially in the clyde example). Dont ask them to do things for you. Ask them to give you a step by step guide on how you can do that thing instead.

most of the companies making AI don't want it to do that, though, because they want it to be this generalized assistant, search engine, writer, coder, etc. all at once. it has to be the best AI ever, capable of doing everything, because if it's not then the investors might not give them as much money, and if it can admit that it's wrong then that means it can be wrong in the first place. it's all very silly. at least discord managed to train an AI that recognizes it should respond to certain strings with "sorry, i can't do that"

For the bing ai it’s referring to the tnt canon where the tnt will be dispensed by the dispenser and the slime block and sticky piston will send it flying.
To be fair, Bard actually did technically tell you how to build a minecart station. It just didn't know you meant that you wanted a simple system that can stop and start a minecart depending on the power status of the rail(s).

With the two last AI’s, try asking if they can tell you how to build the Redstone, instead of building one. Then it may work better

I have found that sometimes when you reword the question, ai will usually comply. Sometimes it takes questions extremely literally. So finding a way to reword the question such as how the Discord one kind of changed up its response for the door.

for the first round: bing prob expected the dispenser to be filled with tnt.. and expected you to place a slime block in front of thepiston..in that way bing would've made a functional tnt cannon.. for the second round: chatgpt expected the player to place redstone after the rails, connected to the redstone torch, and a button near the placeed minecart for it to get launched automatically

I think I understand how to use the second tnt launcher. You have to move the piston one block to the left, and place a slime block where the piston use to be. Then, remove the slime blocks that are touching the slime block that you just placed. Then place some tnt in the dispenser and pull the lever.
I've just asked Clyde and he's given me a way to make a tnt launcher. Clyde's prompts for questions have to be kinda specific cause he's weird like that. Here's what he gave me btw: 1. Gather the materials: You'll need blocks, redstone, a redstone torch, a lever, and TNT. 2. Build a platform: Create a platform where you want to place the TNT launcher. 3. Create the base: Build a rectangular base out of blocks, leaving an open space in the center. 4. Place the TNT: Put the TNT blocks in a row along the open space. 5. Create the launching mechanism: On one end of the base, create a redstone circuit using redstone dust and a redstone torch. 6. Connect the lever: Place a lever next to the redstone circuit and connect it to the redstone dust. 7. For a lot of these the AI just failed terribly, but some of these like the ChatGPT door still wouldve been bad, but the instructions could be interpreted in other ways that make more sense
I tried Aria from opera, and it started like clyde, but then when I asked it to tell me how I can make one, it gave me instructions. It almost worked. Here's what it told me: 1. The chat gpt red stone door is useful for if you have 2 separated parts of your base then you use that door to go in one side or the other.
