Just do away with the coach of the year award. Basically the equivalent of which team has the best record, just give an award for that. Malone or Spoelstra should have won every single one the past five years. As if going super hard in the regular season is the only mark of a good coach. Mikes words ring true. Lebron never learned the team game. He never has the effect on his teams like a true leader should. All his teammates, allstars, HOF’s and role players know it will be their fault alone if they lose. Lebrons screw ups and deficiencies don’t matter, only theirs.
