  • Take-aways: I am enough. I am loved. I love myself. When I love myself and I master my emotions, I am free. I choose a life of strength. Never believe a prediction that does not empower you. Everyone is rooting for me to win, even those that do not know it. I’m an expert on how to be me, and I do it well. The only disability is the refusal to adapt. Adaptation is a celebration of life. If I celebrate my life, people want to be around me, learn from me, do business with me, and hire me.

  • One heck of a great MAN! He delivered some priceless knowledge in that speech. I feel extremely fortunate to have heard his message. I've been a physical prisoner before. Confined behind bars and walls. That was pretty awful but what was worse was the prison I remained in after my release. It has taken some time for me to escape the negative self image and to stop beating myself up. I'm determined to be better at being me each day and to try to love my fellow man unconditionally. Each day is a gift and a choice.

I wish others would see this truth, that bullying others, or being violent, is just a cry for help, and a desire to be loved. • This is probably the most useful Tedx talk I have ever seen. No pun intended but this guy does not present with the massive ego of the typical TED X host. I agree with his line of thinking about life and I would just add one thing I have picked up over the years. Treat every experience you have with another human being as a learning experience. So many people go through life thinking they don't need to learn from others that they deem to be in a "lower station" in life. The doctor often thinks that the patient can't teach him and the social worker thinks the client doesn't possess any nuggets of wisdom. In regards to that line of thinking, I would like you all to think of the old adage "even a broken clock is right two times each day". When we stop thinking of ourselves so much we really start to see so much more beauty in the world.

    • +Denis Corlotean wandering why is sooo hard to motivate abd love ourselfs unconditionally...it should be natural...I found a possible answer : a part of us called ego gets smaller when we don't complain when we don't feel victims when we don't feel sorry for ourselves or others. And ego hates to get smaller. It a like ego is hungry. See if this idea is useful to you all :)

    • I always think that's God's love coming through. Like, we're all capable of good and bad... But if we focus and learn to recognize the face of God, we can let him through.

    • @@fatusopp4739 Not to burst your bubble, but just because you have not been CRT, and you say that you were not taught to play victim, does not mean that it is not done in other high schools. I am really glad you are not part of the brainwashing factory.
