I'm not sure if this is a popular idea, but I would love if Prehistoric Kingdom stuck to the less obvious dinosaurs and mostly on Cenozoic and maybe Permian and Carboniferous. It would give the game a much different identity to the usual Dinosaur park builders
That would be great to see. We could use more extinct creatures besides the ones from the well known ancient eras. Maybe either they put in all the planned creatures in the game or maybe during it's continuing development, we could get some creatures in the game.
We'll probably get them once the initial lineup is cleared. Anyway, I have faith that we'll get some more outside the box stuff soon.
or have more ornithopods and less saurischians

*_REALLY_* hoping for more Triassic animals eventually besides just Coelophysis and Plateosaurus. Y'know, like Postosuchus, Herrerasaurus, Placerias, Lystrosaurus or Desmatosuchus.

Permian protomammals like Dimetrodon or Inostrancevia would also be pretty awesome! But yeah lots of crocodylomorphs, archosaurs, and yes the ultimate survivors the lystrosaurs would be awesome to be added into the game!

I love that they don't just focus on the well-known creatures. They actually put effort into creating an experience that isn't just another JP. It actually feels like effort is being put into it.
I REALLY hope that JWE2 can squeeze in Plateosaurus before the end. This looks amazing!
Why do you people always keep thinking that JWE2 will end. The only reason why you guys think that JWE2 is ending is that be because you don't know it yet. Or... Maybe I could be wrong on that part.

@@tny1757 Yeah, they did end the game 4 years ago, where it ran it's support for like one in a half years, and choose not to announced it because, well frontier only care about themselves and not the community. But all I'm saying that have you people been overthinking about that?
@@nicholasstafffiere7449 You know video game devs have contract for limited time to make content after realese of a game ? When their time on production of contents for JWE2 said in their contract will be over, then they'll stop making contentd and will move the team on other games productions. That's how it works, all games cease to have support at one moment.

I totally agree. Plateosaurus is a much welcome addition and the fence upgrade is sorely needed. But the changes to the nursery and the introduction of the paleopedia is what I'm more excited for! (from this dev diary at least)

Something that JWE 1 and 2 are missing. More Mesozoic era dinosaurs besides the ones in the Cretaceous era. We should've gotten more dinosaurs and some other creatures from the other eras and this is one of them. I'm liking how this update for this Extinct Park game looks. I may consider buying this in the future. Can't wait to see what else this game will have in store for us next.
The ONLY thing I don't really like is being able to see and select the exact individual you're going to breed in the nursery. I kinda hope it will only be available in sandbox mode, I like the total surprise of mutations:( I feel like I might be alone on this opinion lol
I’ve been waiting for the plateosaurus for the longest time. It’s one of my favorite dinosaurs and I’m glad they included it into the game
I am so excited to see some of these new features get implemented, especially because so many of these are planning for big new changes in the future. (I also absolutely love having backstage content. Easier to build in PK thanks to the scaling ability, but why build a ladder or something when you can just place one?)

Switching between different individuals in the hatchery is actually dope. This game keeps getting better and better!
Hey I noted several times that you refer to the group of frilled dinosaurs as ceratopsids. This terminology is largely correct under most circumstances you use it, but more primitive animals like Protoceratops and Psittacosaurus are not part of this group. The more general and overarching term would be ceratopsians, and ceratopsids are the most derived group of ceratopsians. I'm not sure if you're aware of this already, but just in case, an fyi for the purpose of clarity. :)

Okay now I'm getting jealous of prehistoric Kingdom players because let's just be honest Jurassic World evolution 2 really needs this dinosaur in the game, Plateosaurids still have no representation in the Jurassic universe other than the JP Novels.

PC only, it's in Early access.

How rough is the game gameplay wise? I've been meaning to get it because the species look awesome and love the idea of a park with all kind of prehistoric life, but never played an EA game before so I'm not sure how good the experience would be.
Gameplay wise it’s still lacking, update 11 will do allot to help this but it’ll still be far from complete

@@o_jopa_ Nah, not beta. Beta is over since 2 years ago. This is Early Access, meaning the game is in playable state but still in production and adding base contents of the game gradually until his full realese, and then starting post lunch contents like dlc and such.
