The more KZheadrs hype it … the more I temper expectations.
…ok
@@saltytaylor1908 used a lot of brain cycles for that post, huh?
Same… In my head I’m like okay so, M3 iPad Pro with a slightly better Apple Pencil. Cool good enough.
The clickbait doesn’t help, apple fans are so toxic…
The ipad pros better starts at 256gb and not 128gb. Because it doesn't make sense to keep the 128gb and level up the price.
256gb needs to be bare minimum in any device. 128gb is truly unacceptable
@@extra4542 especially since they want the ipad to be a laptop replacement
@@extra4542 what do you do with all that data
It better have a bunch of RAM if they are doing the on device generative AI like everybody has been saying
What’s wild is their price on the storage option increase
I would like to see something where the iPad boots macOS when connected to a keyboard, but can still switch to the iPadOS (more touch friendly) when being used as a tablet
Or just make a more hybrid OS
That would be nice.
That would be awesome!
Never gonna happen.
That’s a great idea.
This lineup is a ABSOLUTE MESS. They need to get rid of the difference in screens in the smaller and larger iPad Pros. Some people want a better screen but not the size. The 9th generation needs to become the education iPad or get rid of it all together and lower the price of the 10th generation to 399. The Mini needs a screen upgrade, and the Air just needs to be last previous years pro.
Spot on!
Why does the Vision Pro only work with a MacBook and not an iPad when it can do the same thing a Mac can? Apples Ecosystem is a joke
The best iPad I've ever had at the time was the first gen iPad Air. I absolutely fell in love with the slimmer, sleeker design coming from the thicker, chunkier iPad 4th Gen. It was the first time I began using an iPad as a real daily carry, laptop replacement. I bought a folio keyboard case from Zagg and loved taking it with me to coffee shops, cafes, and having people ask me what kind of laptop I was using and me being all giddy telling people it was an iPad and showing them how I used it for work and for pleasure. Those were good times.
That time must have been a lot fun! , are you planning to get this year's ipad pro?, I'm maybe upgrading to this year's version or M2 version. Just gotta see the reviews, I don't just wanna get an ipad pro then regret getting it.
My favorite iPad ever is the current iPad Mini. The iPad Pro is an amazing device but there is something about the Mini’s form factor that really appeals to me.
Plan to upgrade from my iPad 7 th gen sooo this will definitely be an upgrade
2018 iPad Pro is still my daily’s driver and I love it
Same, I still use my 2018 11” all the time. It truly was ahead of its time when it still handles everything I throw at it
Same but the 2019 11”. 95% of all my web browsing and media consumption is on the iPad Pro. When it was new i did all my video/image editing, music production and school work on the iPad Pro as well. It was faster than my old MacBook 😅. Still runs as good as the day i bought it.
Ditto that’s what I’m still using too!
That’s what I use now. However the battery drains like crazy now
I have an iPad Pro 11” I bought new refurbished in 2020 and loved it. Sadly a month ago I woke up and it was stuck in a boot loop and nothing would get it out. Took it to the Genius Bar who were stumped and could diagnose it. They told me in the end 4 years in an acceptable life space for an “iPad pro” and offered a replacement at my cost!! I declined and said that’s unacceptable I have an iPad Air still in service and an iPad Pro 10.5” still running strong!!
I have the 9th gen IPad. I’m happy with it. I’m just excited about the event.
Will the new Apple Pencil 3 be compatible with the m1 & m2 iPad Pro too ?
Oh my goodness. It’s going to be powerful.
12.9 iPad Pro 3rd generation. Still going strong, daily use.
Me too, even had battery replaced at vast expensive this year. But I think I deserve an upgrade if this is good.
Is this is M1 one? I’ve gotten so confused with the lineups lately lol
@@ngweso its a12x chip
@@ngweso no, A12x chip. I mainly just use it for videos email and browsing. Works great. I’m inclined to buy a new one if the screen is bigger tho
Excellent video! Thank you 👍
I just wish that the new iPad Pro will be able to run Mac apps as well. With the M4 it would be more than capable of running them. And it would replace my M1 Pro MacBook Pro and my 3rd gen iPad Pro with the A12x chip.
Not going to happen....until EU, J.O.D. and other gov bodies step in again. Apple does NOT want to let go of their wall gardened iOS/iPadOS and cash cow monopoly app store. They make a ton of money restricting consumers freedom to install what they want by gatekeeping it through only the App store. If people don't understand, just consider if MacOS was locked down like iOS/iPadOS is and consumers could not install anything outside of Apple's App store. There would be riots. Which is why the EU, the DOJ and other government bodies around the world are going after their asses for monopoly and anti-trust practices. The EU had to step in because Apple were screwing consumers over with lightning because they make $billions licensing MFI, so consumers had an inferior port/cable for years compared to USB-C. The same is happening now, that Apple has never intended to open up iOS/iPadOS or allow an Operating system freedom for users to purchase what they want from anywhere the choose....like an actual normal PC. Apple and its corporate apologists are fear mongering with 'privacy and security' fears if they opened up iPads and iPhones...yet they happily throw Macs/MacOS under the bus. Apple and the greed of its shareholders that is what is holding back the iPad.
Lego spotted at every tech guy❤😅
Going to go from an iPad model 3 to an iPad Pro m4. I’m so hyped
I love the m1 iPad made it fast enough for my workflow and also adding the stage manager was a game changer
My current m1 iPad Pro gives 8-10 hours of battery life after 15 months of use.. so I would to know how much better the new iPad battery life will be.. maybe somewhere between current iPad Pro and MacBook, so 14 hours?
I've been saving money to upgrade my regular gen 6 iPad + Apple Pencil 1 to a 12.9 M2 iPad Pro. Even if they don't announce anything super groundbreaking it will still be a good outcome for me.
So ready for my new iPad Pro. Still can’t decide which size should I get though . I always have 11inch iPad but always wanted bigger screen. Any thoughts ?😅
Great update as always!🐬
Bending happens. My mini 5 got bent, i had to carefully put it back lol
2018 was my first iPad Pro 12.9, favorite is still the M1 12.9 Pro. 🤗🥰😉 can’t wait to get the new 2024 Pro 13”
I like my current iPad Pro 12.9" 2021 with Celluar best. So easy to bring along.
I just want an M2/3/4 iPad MINI…. I’ve had an iPad Pro ever since 2018 and the only thing I’ve ever wanted was the M1 chip or newer in the mini… It’s all I need and I happily pay $800 for.
My favorite iPad was the First gen iPad 64 gig with AT&T service lol so many fun memories using that in college and remembering just tossing it around in and out of my backpack
Dude! I’m so excited about the new iPad!! I use mine everyday for work and cannot wait to upgrade!! I’m buying it all…#AppleFanBoy
iPad 2 is still the best iPad release ever. It was absolutely perfect at the time.
The OG iPad was phenomenal. The “new iPad”(gen 3-retina) was gorgeous. The iPad Pro has always just been fantastic. I’m ready for a new design, though.
Please review how the new iPad functions with Office Excel.Thank You!
I hope they manage to keep compatibility with the older Magic Keyboards. Otherwise I’ll end up going with whatever options ESR brings out.
Great video 😄 where can we find your wallpaper please?
It’s part of our member program! Feel free to join. We release wallpapers every month!
What happened to MacOS on IPad?
Better battery is the #1 thing that'd be cool. The iPad is already powerful and feature rich. It'd be nice to see a generation push the boundaries of endurance instead of processing power
I just got an iPad Air 5 coming from the Galaxy Tab S8 ultra. My overall goal is to do everything on it as I currently do on my custom PC workstation: video editing, livestream, gaming, Bible research, and run our family’s budget.
Still rocking the M1 12.9 IPad Pro.
Newb!
iPad mini 6. Best iPad ever (for me).
Yay! Looks like I’ll be keeping my 2018 iPad Pro!
I love the Ipad pro but I really want an update for the Ipad Mini
My iPad Air 2 was my first iPad and I must say I enjoyed it a lot and has been like my favorite device
For me it was also the 2018 iPad, although I have earlier ones too. And I will buy a new one, either the iPad Pro or the iPad Air. Haven’t decided yet.
Still love my 2018 Pro
my favorite ipad is the 4th gen and 5gen ipad airs
They’ll swap the camera and pencil charge location. In portrait the pencil will be on top and in landscape the pencil will be on the side like every kids drawing you on the market
That wouldn’t work because of the stereo speakers
My wish would be an additional USB-C port!!!
i wish they put 3 otpions of minimize, full screen and close on every window like mac os.
already part of stage manager though
@@meme-machine yea but you gotta click the 3 dots and it’s 5 options instead of just being 3 buttons
I ended up just buying the M2 11” pro a couple months ago getting tired of waiting and realising it would be good enough at what iPads do rather than looking at it as more. I still use my M1 air (upgrading to a 14” pro next year) more so at home for proper file management and everything else it’s better at for me (audio engineering mostly) and my iPad is my always go everywhere device for things like content consumption and casual work tasks (emails, invoicing, etc.) As someone who prefers the smaller pro iPhone size moving my content consumption onto the iPad this time around with my regular upgrade cycle has been good for the phone’s battery life too as I’m getting through full days with 50-60% left on both devices most days. I’d be surprised if I feel the need to upgrade either in the next 3 years, maybe just new batteries when needed and go the full length of time iOS supports them this time as the devices have gotten so good it’s hard to see drastic upgrades beyond software coming into play within the next 5 years atm.
Love this comment. I ended up replacing a M1 12.9 w/MKB with a M2 11 no/MKB. I decided to quit trying to fit the iPad into the MacBook box. Now I'm just using the iPad as it was intended and I'm completely content and loving it and it's a great accessory for my MBP.
Looking forward to getting the new iPad Pro and pencil.🐬
Always temper your expectations when it comes to iPad and Apple overall
iPad mini 6
I did not have that many iPads. My first was the 7th gen iPad, but last year I upgraded to 11“ M2. I have gine from 32 to 256GB of storage, which even only that was a big jump. And the power and smoothness is incredible. I love it, and for me, if there was full ms office, it‘s the only computer I need 😁.
My favorite iPad is the redesigned mini. I wish they would make an iPad mini Pro!
Next iPad will actually likely have the M5. You heard it hear first.
I would rather them keep the thickness it’s already SO thin. Just put a bigger battery in it.
Seriously, thickness is a non-issue with the current iPads. More battery would always be better in the same body if they can achieve it
I've never owned an iPad so I'm eagerly waiting for the new pro model.
First touchscreen MacBook?!👀
I think I would have MacOS on the iPad Pro 2022 rather than iPadOS as I use it as my main computer. 🐬
I’m coming from a 2018 iPad Pro 11” so I’m just looking forward to the quality of life improvements. To use my iPad full time (when I’m not doing video editor work) I’d need the browsers to open up to extensions. Things like AdBlock Pro, an audio downloader I use sometimes, and tamper monkey. If those worked on my iPad it would be my full non-work chill device.
I’m still okay with my ipad air 4…
my current 2021 M1 ipad pro is my favourite so it's going to take amazing new design and features to get me to " upgrade"
Good review, thanks for being calm and not trying to hype us up by saying it’s major!!!!
As a graphic designer I really hope for a matte screen.
My favourite iPad is the 2018 iPad Pro - It my primary ‘computer’. Super excited for Tuesday’s announcement.
man, come on Apple, let us use M iPad series use ipad to software development, would be perfect.
My 1st IPad Pro is a 2018 11 in h
I’m prepared to be underwhelmed.
who uses their iPad more than their MacBook air pro mini? Just curious! I have the M1 Ipad pro 11 and still love it and is my daily driver.
Is that the NOMAD GLOW 2.0?! lol I just saw that ad and ordered it 15 minutes ago ✊
yes it is! I love it
I think Apple should make the iPad Pro titanium and Im also seeing the Dynamic Island make an appearance too
Since I have m1 iPad Pro , the only thing I care for is the new Magic Keyboard, I hope it’s gonna be compatible with m1 otherwise I have the get the current Magic Keyboard
pencil could change shape based on selected brush. Or adjust based on hand size
Please. Black apple pencil!!!!!!!!!
M2 IPad Pro. 👍🏾
🐬 lets go Odell
I hope for 11.6” and 13.3” screens on pro
IPAD PRO 12’ 2TB 2021
Real, desktop Chrome is the big feature for me. Apple won't allow it until the EU or the Justice Dept. force them to. Because money, not users.
My iPad Pro has been awesome! It’s the third edition.
The thing I really would like to see is a desktop mode where you get full Mac OS access. Kind of like what you have on the steam deck with game mode and desktop mode. But then it would make the MacBook Air obsolete so I don’t think we’re going to get full Mac OS. But full os capabilities would be really nice to have. The joy of being able to open a terminal, installing home brew and a suite of cli tools natively would be so much fun 🤩. Sure you can use blink to ssh in to a raspberry pi, Linux server or mac device. Its great an all but to be able to run network tools or sable diffution with comfy ui straight on your iPad would be great. And yes you can get a MacBook Air but in my opinion media consumption is way better on iPad os.
Hello foram Brazil lol. I would really like to see new triple A games coming to the iPad and more pro apps
Where are the leaks? These are just predictions and rumors.
Thinner and lighter will help counter-balance with dock-mode with keyboard accessory bear in mind. Also ligher means more portable as well as more comfortable/easier to hold and handle: You should have a sufficient protective case or sleave and not overpack a rucksack as well probably. Unfortunately the official Magic Keyboard is extremely heavy negating a lot of the portability gains in the current edition... Overall, iPad Pro needs some form of MacOS or desktop OS to make all the above expensive hardworth viable. Would be a different issue if the tablet was at the 200-300 dollar range as a handy nice-to-have. But at these prices it needs to deliver more "beef" or "horsepower" for more computing uses for more users.
I’m a fan of the iPad Pro. I have the 2021 model with M1, 16GB, and 1 TB. However, an iPad will never be able to replace a real PC, and I don’t want it to. I use the iPad for those things it does better than a PC and the PC/laptop for the rest. I’m happy with things as they are.]
I’m a broken record but I want Mac OS on it or a files app on par with finder, the ability to add my own music to the app and for excel to work like it does on the Mac. It’s awful.. also better monitor support
Tempered expectations, bit hopes. Still with my 2018 iPad Pro 11” let’s see if this the one I upgrade to! My iPad is my favourite device. I’d rather loose my iPhone that iPad.
My favorite ipad is samsung ultra
Man, I’m completely torn between getting the current 12.9 or waiting for the 13 inch, I have an 11 Pro and power wise it’s more than enough. I just need more screen real estate for what I use it for. I think I get the current model. I could save a few bucks and I’m also I’m kind of scared of how thin the new one might be and how easy itll be to break.
I'm still using my base Ipad Pro 10.5. If not for the battery and the limited storage (64 Gb), I have no reason to upgrade. I've been putting off, buying the Ipad Pro M2 because of all these hype on the 2024 Ipads. If the price gap is extremely huge, I'll settle with the Ipad Pro M2 or the newer Air M2.
I’m still using the 2015 iPad Pro 12.9. It just started getting slow on me the last few weeks. I’ll probably finally update lol 🐬
I am still so in love with my 2016 IPad Air 2. I realize that it has become sort of “dinosaurish”. I will miss it.
The ability to run Mac apps/Mac os. 2 Thunderbolt ports. Better battery life, and a moved camera
And a start price at only 1500 USD... It's a revolution... Yes, I still pray for aggressive low pricing, but has been disappointed until now...
Apple hasn’t announced anything yet. Chill out dude.
It won’t increase by that much & you shouldn’t buy this iPad if you’re scared of the price
Apple knows there is 2nd hand market so why low price for brand new?
In my perfect world, I would be running macOS on a 14" iPad Pro with a pencil (Wacom pen tablet works great in my 14" MacBook Pro in macOS UI, so a no-brainer as the pen is more accurate than a trackpad IMO) I currently have a 1st gen 12.9 iPad Pro and iPadOS is the limiting factor for the wider professional use. It would be more so with the more powerful generations of apples M chipsets. In the current world, it's a prosumer toy/sketching device with a large phone OS.
I've always wished I could use my iPad as a Wacom tablet. That would be cool.
2020 12.9 iPad pro is what I do everything with, desktop is nothing more than a mac mini for watching YT, mail and calendar all running on dual monitors. I replaced my macbook pro with the iPad pro because touch screen and pen, Work related tasks, personal and work emails, shopping, documents and forms, photo editing. The only thing I want apple to do is put the full Apple wallet on the iPad so I don't have to pick up my phone to access all the wallet features that are not on the iPad.
The iPad Pro with magic keyboard 2020 I just wish i had the money to have bought it when it came out. But i'm finally ready to buy a iPad Pro now that i got the money plz don't be expensive 😭The double oled panels is a driven factor, idc about the software much.
Guess what You're going to get the same old iPod again
YOU are the one who needs to temper their expectations. We’re not the ones making videos about it. They can do whatever to the hardware but if they don’t change the software then it’s a failure. This thing could really be what Microsoft has been trying to figure out since their first Surface.
For me, the restriction is on Software 100%. I've been using my iPad for 95% of my activities for 3-4 years, but there's always restrictions, or slowdowns (software related). iPadOS Safari still not full Safari, native apps still lacking some features. iPad is more efficient in some activities. I like the idea of the iPad, I really hope it never gets MacOS. But ideas don't solve problems, so, as long as those ideas are not in the software ready to be used, I still have that 5% of activities that I need MacOS for (sadly)
Since OLED is thinner, I wish they use the space for more battery rather than making the iPad thinner
I would get an iPad Pro. What I want is Apple to come out with a 1st party way to Remote Desktop into a Mac. iPad can still be my entertainment device and light office works if I need desktop away from desk I can remote in. If I want to do heavy work go to desk and just use my mac.
