140lb Time lapse weight loss transformation (Goal 2 of 5)

This video is my 140 pound weight loss transformation just after achieving my second weight loss target on my weight loss journey.
I started my weight loss journey on Sunday the tenth of January 2016 (Week 0) and my starting statistics were 541.2 pounds, 245.5 kilograms or 38 stone 9.2 pounds and I had a Body Mass Index (BMI) of 71.7
Its taken me one hundred and ten weeks to lose the 140 pounds. As you can imagine I'm still a long long way from getting down to a healthy weight, but with time and some persistence I know I will reach my weight loss goals.
I'm now currently working towards my third weight loss target of another 70 pounds (5 stone or 31.8 kg).   • I love the scale numbers. This is such a genuine reflection, I cry all the time weighing in especially when I gain no matter how hard I work out so seeing this just really feels good.

Some more successful than others, but I kept failing on the sustaining part. Not keeping the moment going was the hardest part and it was so easy for me to fall back into my old ways. I waited until I achieved my second target before I would look at a side by side comparison of myself. I surprised myself by how much I've changed in the two years, I guess everyone is getting to see less and less of me each week after all. haha.     • That's very good, thats an average of around 3 pounds per week. Thats the top end of what I try and lose per week as my weekly target is between 1 and 3 pounds. Keep up your brilliant work, you're losing weight within a safe and sustainable rate/level. Just be careful with your strict calorie deficit though. Making massive drastic cuts to calorie consumption will see short term wins (potentially big loss result), but it's not a healthy and sustainable solution for the long term. Remember you've got to add fuel to fire to keep it burning. So as long as your adding healthy fuel into your body you should still see the weight losses you want to see, along with your exercise you're doing. Ultimately you have to do what you feel is best for you and everyone's weight loss journey is unique to them. So what works for me, might not work for you. Nevertheless; I've said the weight you've lost is a fantastic achievement and I wish you all the success on the rest of your journey. Speak to you later, take care. Stu

I don't tend to do daily routine videos that often, because I'm a creature of habit and stick to doing the same thing day in, day out for months at a time.   • You can lose this much weight by just trading soda for water in your day to day. Wait til you actually start exercising.

    • Hi Nick, welcome to my channel and thank you for taking the time to leave me your supportive message, that does mean a lot to me. I mainly drink cordials (which is watered down concentrated fruit juices). What soda I do have is sugar free and for the most part has zero calories. I've always struggled drinking plain water, except when it's really hot and I'm very thirsty. In that situation a glass of nice cold water hits the spot. Regarding my activities, I'm slowing increasing my step count back up, but you're right when I start doing more exercising this will aid my weight loss. The biggest loss though will come from making the best food choices and the expertise will supplement that. Thank you once again for the message, enjoy the rest of your week.
