  • I watched both this vid and the vid in which people were invited that believe that earth's surface on which we reside is not ball shaped and I see a big difference in how the hosts treat this supposed authority with their deep interest and respectful listening, smiling and admiring him and how the hosts treat people that say something else than the supposed authority with interrupting much and an aggressive manner of questioning, not smiling or creating a friendly environment like they do in this vid.

    • I guess some randoms on the internet who think the Earth is a disc with zero evidence and a model that doesn't explain observable reality (unless you have a different model for each observable aspect) command the same authority on a topic like this as someone who's attained a PhD in Particle Physics, was a fellow of the Royal Institute and worked at CERN on the Large Hadron Collider. Treating idiots as idiots might seem rude, but it's probably the right way to handle things given how monumentally wrong they are.

    • @@TalesOfWar No, there is the celestial sphere around earth. So yes, you're right for earth as a total system, but not for just the surface of earth on which surface we reside, because the surface on which we walk and live is not a sphere/ball/oblate spheroid, etc.

Ask anyone there who actually know something about eather aviation or sailing - what is the shape of the Earth by their experience and why they think that.. Stop sitting behind the keyboard thinking that you know something and do some real research with people who were around the world..
