And this hearing was absolutely ridiculous…he cried over his father (who is still alive) reading from “his calendars” to the kids and teared up while reciting all his female friends by name. He was defensive to the extreme over the idea that he might have blacked out, said a “Devil’s Triangle” was a drinking game, and said “Renata Alumni” was his way of saying a girl was “one of the guys” when it clearly insinuated that they all allegedly slept with her. He was asked repeatedly if he would support an FBI investigation & dodged the question. If they really wanted to embarrass the guy they should’ve just played the actual hearing. I laughed but also felt deeply unsettled that this was reality...I still do. It is stunning that a candidate (guilty or innocent) had an almost complete melt down, sweating, crying, shouting, truculently refusong to answer questions and rudely throwing them back at Senators.....and still was given a lifetime seat on the Supreme Court. • Matt knows how to work his props for maximum comedic effect. The intense page turning, the water pitcher clanking, the can at the end. Pretty great. I honestly prefer him in comedy vs drama. He did a great guest spot in 30 rock back in the day as Tina Fey’s boyfriend. The scene of them fighting on the plane is 🤌
