    • I would *love* it if Ben Stiller came back to reprise his Michael Cohen impression-but not as the hapless schlemiel from sketches like this. No, I want to see Stiller play the smack-talking, zero-f*cks-given Michael Cohen we see in interviews and on podcasts *today* (We could see hints of that Michael Cohen in this sketch). Even better, they could get the REAL MC to do a walk-on while Stiller’s onstage.

    • I saw this skit when it was on but just watching it again now, it is even funnier, but also far more concerning. Bill Hader as the angry Jim Jordan; the Republicans getting angry at everyone except the man responsible; AOC shamed for being in a dance video from college while being one of the few members who actually asks carefully researched & thoughtful questions; Cohen being attacked by Republicans even though Trump only picks “the best” and the Republican party had no problem with Cohen working for them before he exposed Trump’s lies and crimes. I also remember the faux rage expressed by Republicans against Hilary Clinton who remained calm and professional under pressure for 8 hours as they attempted to destroy her over Benghazi (7 or 8 congressional investigations which cost more than what Mueller spent and came up empty) to advance their political ends while now turning a blind eye to the corruption and abuses of power committed by a president merely because he is on their team. An alien from outer space would simply not believe this state of affairs. I am actually pretty conservative compared to someone like AOC but I would never vote for Trump or any member of the party which has enabled him because they are destroying our rule of law, destroying our constitutional rights and safeguards, destroying our system of oversight and enabling the biggest power grab and milking of the system we have ever seen from a president. We can deal with debates over policy and spending but if we don’t first fight to preserve (first and foremost) the truth/access to facts (by removing a president who spews fear-inducing propaganda like a dictator with a fetish for military parades and showing off tanks), integrity of our rule of law and the independence of our system of justice, etc., we will no longer have the opportunity to do so. American comedy in many ways distinguishes us from other nations. In North Korea or Russia, Alec Baldwin would simply be shot or poisoned to death for mocking the leader. We should never lose sight of how lucky we are to be free, especially “free” to disagree and offend one another. That is a great privilege some of our predecessors died for and a privilege citizens of North Korea only dream of.

    • @bubbillionaire Are you from the future? How else could you possibly know the results of the investigation before Mueller has finished/released it? Either that, or you're an idiot. Take your pick.
