  • My husband died this past Monday unexpectadly on December 5th at only 39 years old. Before his passing he sent me a link to this speech. He didnt realize I actually did listen to it and when I mentioned a part of his speech. He smiled. Little did I know that it went beyond that 1 video. My husband has a 2 hr commute and all I found on his internet history was Peterson. I find comfort in knowing he found GOD and reached out.. He left me a widow at 33 years old with 2 boys 8 and 9. I will love you forever more Adam Joseph Toomes! Please pray for my boys and I as we lay him to eternal rest on Tuesday.

I imagine it's crossed his mind that he is a messenger but he will be afraid of accepting that as a truth cos his brain is wired to logic and he will be afraid of being accused of having delusions of grandeur. I believe we have to actually 'lose our mind' to become bioavailable. 💓 Either way.. yes I agree JBP is certainly a messenger. He must be exhausted xxxx Sending love ❤️

  • Points that resonated with me: 1. Be happy for people when they share good news with you. 2. Treat yourself like you matter 3. Treat other people like they matter 4. You're nowhere near what you could be 5. So you're a mess, You can do something about it 6. Do not cast pearls before swine - When people are not listening to you, stop talking to them 7. If you're a monster and you don't act monstrously, you're virtuous 8. Make your bed - Act in a manner that produces order - Compounding effect of positive things you can do 9. If you don't have enough meaning in your life, you're more prone to addiction 10. Make a schedule - Setup as best possible day 11. Figure out what you want / what would be good for you 12. Reorient your life in every possible way to make the probability that would occur as certain as possible - Sacrificial idea 13. What remarkably stupid things am I doing on a regular basis to absolutely screw up my life? 14. Setup goals that you value - Situational evaluation - More valuable the goal, the more motivation 15. Have a vision - Family, Friends, Career, Educational Goals, Plans for time outside work, attention to mental & physical health, etc 16. Expose yourself to things you are avoiding or afraid of 17. Your a node in a network - The things you do is like dropping a stone in a pond, the ripples move outward, the things you do and don't do are far more important than you think

There is tremendous evil at work in this world and when the bright light of incredible wisdom hits their eyes they recoil and slither back into the shadows like demons to hurl spit and venom and vitriol. These kinds of humans are the lost souls in all of history who reject wisdom and anything good or positive. These are the culprits rejecting President Trump and those who crucified the Christ all those years ago. Our schools and universities are lairs and assembly lines that create demons for the beast.

And most of the class save for a few thinking brains nod their heads to what the professor is spouting about how great Communism and Socialism is! My last English professor I had held these very negative beliefs about Jordan Peterson- saying that her life experiences trump someone's opinion. This completely shuts down any conversation that would've happened! She was an ally to the whole transgender movement, even though she wasn't transgender. (I think, I could be wrong- she was a big woman!) She saw his opinions regarding compelled speech and twisted it into a personal attack on her and her friends! She wasn't occupied at all with the erosion of freedoms when you give an inch, these psychos take a mile! This is where it starts... in the colleges and universities!

  • Can we all agree that Dr. Jordan Peterson is our internet dad? Personally that is how I see him. He has taught me more about life and about myself than anyone else has and probably ever will. Poor parenting and absent minded adults around us ASSUMING just because their kids don't ask them directly they are not wondering about the world and hungry for love and thirsty for answers. School should teach us how to be able minded adults. Real life is not taught but parents expect their kids to know everything and be respectful things? How? If no one is teaching kids about life and love and concerns and answering the tough questions, how are parents surprised they end up with monsters for offspring? Or suicidal lonely and abused? Dr. Peterson gives us the courtesy to share his wisdom, and expertise to help ourselves. So people, please help yourselves to finding the answers to your own "demons" and soon FEEL AND BE better. 😊😊😊

The beautiful thing is, I think this is because he speaks the truth, no matter how difficult that truth is to face. This forces me to confront my own internal mental darkness, and my own internal light shines that much brighter, which drives the darkness that much further away. It might take a long time, but I will succeed in decisively conquering the demons which try to convince me to take my own life every day. This internal struggle is worth going through, because my own weaknesses can be forged into strength stronger than steel -- and Dr. Petersen is the Forgemaster I should have found years ago.

  • I was almost to the verge of committing the most atrocious act a man could ever pull. I was going to commit suicide. I was set on how I was going to do it if I really wanted to, with my pistol. I was so angry. Angry at people for not giving me any form of appreciation. Angry at my mom for not complimenting me when she had the chance. Angry at my brother for not wanting to be in my life to the degree that I wanted a big brother. Angry at my father possibly taking out that loan with those loan sharks and getting murdered. Angry at life for giving me this situation that I'm in. the nihilistic view of the world that I had developed wasn't one that I'd ever want to have as a kid. I thought I was a pretty happy kid. Turns out that was NOT the case. Peterson has given me the self reflection as to the consequences that my actions would have caused those around me. The suffering my mom already went through with my father being murdered. The suffering all of the family went through with that traumatic experience was in and of itself enough to get me to fight another day. I fear one day my psyche will snap as I hold it all together but, thanks to Jordan Peterson, I fight on so as to not cause suffering to those around me. A part of me didn't want to write this but I know someone out there reading this can relate and now has a reason to not commit the act that shall not be named. No matter how dark your mind gets you need to know and really you NEED to know that there is at least one person who will suffer a tremendous burden by you committing the act. There is so much help out there. Call someone, ANYONE. I talked to my friend who I hadn't talked to in awhile. I told my mom how I was feeling. I told my brother. They all understood to some degree, although not fully, but still. At least they knew and that was enough to comfort me and know that someone out there knows what I'm going through and I felt at least a litte understood. Fight another day my friends. Fight another day for tomorrow may bring you some light. And if it doesn't? Fight another day...

I was reading my life in the present. But I ask you, if someone felt like they weren't built for this world. Every story of sadness and unfairness makes that person hurt so bad. If that person wanted to leave this world because he wants to, why is it a bad thing. 24x7 hurt and people use his kindness and help to the point where he's alone, broke and just done with the world. It's his decision and right to leave the world. His mom wouldn't worry about him, and he wasn't getting what he needed from her as a mom anyway. It's just time to go.

Whether it be from abusive or strenuous relationships with parents or siblings, or traumatic events that they can't or haven't coped with. While I was there I had several mentors that taught me that my feelings matter, but they are not the end all be all of my existence and that my actions would define my life. I have been clean and sober for 27 years, but I still led a criminalistic lifestyle. Only recently (In the last 3-4 years) have I really embraced my shadow self and through meditation on my childhood and reenacting my abuse and inserting myself as an adult in those scenarios and caring for the little boy inside of me have I found peace. Understanding that all parts of me need to be loved and cared for and the only person who can do that is me took a lifetime. Your words and your empathy have been a major cause of this and for that I am thankful for you sir.

Which, of course is to avoid vengeful thinking and violent actions- and even love our enemies; offering them the cloak off our backs if need be. That was Jesus championing pacifism and proto-socialism in the Sermon on the Mount, oddly. The Church has made itself enemies with those ideologies, when instead they should have called Marx out as a thief of ideas. Re: "And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need." -Acts 2:44-45 , "blessed is he who is generous to the poor." -Proverbs 14:21, etc. etc.
