  • Tip for bedrock: you can tell if you’re on a chunk border if (lets say you want to find the border on the x axis) your z coordinate is divisible by 16, same thing if you want to find the axis chunk border: divide x coordinate by 16. If you do not get a whole number, continue moving along the z axis (to find the x axis side of the chunk) or the x axis (to find the z side of the chunk) until the coordinate is divisible by 16. If both your x and z are divisible by 16, then you are at a chunk corner

  • I normally enchant all my diamond stuff before I go mining for ancient debris and I literally just mine a 1x2 area in a straight line for like a thousand blocks with my beefed-up pickaxe. I play on bedrock and that usually gets me about half a stack of ancient debris in roughly an hour or so. I actually feel like this is one of the fastest ways to get it (on bedrock) cause I can get enough ancient debris to make full netherite armor and tools in just one mining session. Obviously I'm gonna have to be mining for a bit longer than an hour if I'm going for full netherite gear, and some mining sessions will yield more while others will yield less, but for the most part it's a pretty good method (imo at least)

  • for the bed mining method, i dont put down slabs. i just put down the bed as far away from me as possible and put one block in front of me before exploding it. i barely take any damage from it. yeah i had netherite armor but before that i used iron armor and gold boots, my chest plate had blast protection and i legit got zero damage. i am in easy tho so idk about other difficulties

  • Subbed, mainly because you are not forgetting Bedrock. I'd go back to Java if I did not have so much invested in my Hardcore mode Bedrock world. They really need to add these F3 features into Bedrock if they want more people to use this platform. I almost made the move earlier this week when I logged into my world and the file was corrupt. The land was changed, and mostly 2 blocks above water so I had to swim a ways to get back on top of the land, and the chuck damage was more localized, so my bases were intact. However, the game killed me in the process and I lost a couple items with Mending that were earned the old fashioned way, not librarian farming. I'm still toying with going back to a new world in Java.
