Netherite is one of the most difficult materials to get in Minecraft. It could take you forever to find enough ancient debris for all your netherite gear. And besides that, you will also need the smithing template, which is even more rare. But in this video, I will show you the 4 fastest ways to find ancient debris and the smithing template.

How to find your seed in Java Edition

@@TheMineMentor A good tip I like to use is to bring a ender chest into the treasure room bastion, and set it down next to the chest with the netherite upgrade in it so you don't have to worry about losing it on the way back. (And of course place another ender chest in your base so you can get the items inside when you get back safely) otherwise great video✌👽

And Steve can transform oak logs into planks using only his barehands + can wear golden armoe which weights couple thousands of kilograms so why not tranform gravel into sand by hand or through grindee

There is another method which is late game but the most efficient you need an elytra,fire res.. potion,pickaxe,fireworks and a texture pack :-Obvious Debris and jump in a lava pool in the nether alot of debris form under lava pools and use the elytra to go quickly in the lava will using a fire res potion

@@TheMineMentor it's legitimately well made and it is a pleasant surprise to see. I just have to get up off my lazy butt and go to my computer and stomp some rear in order to get some full another kit for the survival world that I've been playing since 2017. I have an absolutely massive sheep farm with a couple of mods that are very simple, basically one of them allows me to turn wool into string. Which I think is nonsense that in the vanilla game you can put four string in a crafting table and create wool but not the other way around which I believe is crazy. So besides that and a backpack mod, and some others, I will be able to take a lot of wool and a lot of wooden planks. Hell, you know what I can do? I can use the wood from the Nether forests and I can just have a whole backpack full of wool, then I can get as much wood as I want from the nether and I won't even have to worry about it. I cannot play without modded, the vanilla games never the same without it. But you're so good at what you do You make it even seem fun for me.
Maybe I just need friends.

When mining with a instant pickaxe, stand on y12, don't sprint and spin the mouse around mostly up and down, try to mine at max range when you can. I find it to be the quickest and easiest.
@@cvd1 Personally I just change direction or fire resistance potions. not sure if any more or less of an issue using the other methods.

One helpful idea is having a bucket with you to easily remove the single exposed lava sources and dump it out of the way. You might find more ancient debris below where it was flowing over.
Yes that’s true! Although I normally just place a block in the place of the lava source. That way the lava disappears, and you don’t have an inventory full of lava buckets.
To get template i also recommend to use upgrade (8:00 minutes) invisible potion, u just need that + u have also to remove all your equipment (gold armour piece too) and no one inside there will attach u. Bring just for being safe at 100% and u want to explore it well 3/5 potions ❤

Tip for the beds mine 3/4 block in front (only top lane) then last 2 mine those then place bed there its just a little easier

There is a 5th way: lava diving. Rates:1.5-3 stacks/hour. Depends if you have to moove alot bc you can't find a good lake How it works:lava lakes go rly low so you can reach the optim neth level pretty often and bc lava is not air,the debries are not consudered exposed so they can actualy spawn. Costs: fire rezistance,elytra and rockets to move quicker in lava(you can also use pearls) aditionaly you can get a texture pack to make the ancient debries easyer to spot and even a mod to eliminate lava fog(keep in mind,on some servers,this mod is considered xray and it will get you banned if they find out) Most ppls would already use fire rez in their mining and a stack of rockets is far cheapper than a stack of tnt amd will actualy get you more. Only problem is the elytra. This is deff a more late game approach but netherite is pretty late game too. I got a neth beacon in a bit over a mounth with most progress in the last days bc i was gonna go overtime(which i still did)

Used up an entire unbreaking II, efficiency III diamond pick just to find four debris. Also the template can be found in nether fortresses, I got mine from one rather than a bastion remnant.
That’s unlucky. Ancient debris can really take a lot of times sometimes. It’s better to stripmine if you have mending. Otherwise the bed method is really good too! And it’s cheap!
Are you sure that you didn’t find a rib armor template? It had a similar color, but with these blue lines on it.
@@TheMineMentor Though I did find the rib armour template in a separate chest, I assure you I found a netherite upgrade within a nether fortress, either this is just extremely rare and you did not know about it, or some weird glitch swapped the chest out with a bastion loot table.
Maybe it is a glitch, but a nice one! But according to Minecraft Wiki, the Netherite Upgrade Template can only be found in all 4 bastions. And the only template that you can find in a fortress is the rib armor template.
I was playing with my friend using the bed method and he find the same amount but half the time it took me to find ancient when he raided bastions. Do keep in mind we had elaytras at the time
Yes, sometimes you find ancient debris quiet fast, and sometimes you’re unlucky and you find just a few in half an hour.
Kaela was averaging 120 per hour using TNT, fire resist potions, and a 1w, 2 tall tunnel, detonating them with fire arrows. the spacing was every four spaces per tnt

@@TheMineMentor I merely had responded to let you know the numbers she had been getting on stream, and she optimized it, because she was building a netherite beacon, with all blocks in the pyramid made of netherite. I think the whole thing took her 4 months or so, with one zenloss in there. Again, just so you know the numbers she was working towards...
if you don't have full diamond armor with protection IV, and preferably thorns III, you shouldn't even try get the template, if you thought you would get it while your in the nether when you have iron armor, it takes 3 shots with a power V bow on the brutes, and 3 hits with a sharpness V diamond sword, so if you have iron armor, don't even try lol
Yes, getting the template is very difficult and risky! But if you use this method I explained it the video, with the lava bucket and entering from the roof, it works pretty good and safe. But if you make a mistake, you’ll easily die if you only have iron armor indeed 😉
I do just fine in temples with iron armour and iron sword and a bow with basic enchants. Difficulty on hard to. Its nothing compared to RLCRAFT 😂

A pickaxe with E5 is the best imo. You blast through everything so fast it works just as good as anything. TNT is a little sloppy. Problem is not only making it all but when you blast them in a chain they drop down lower as they explode so it's hard to stay at Y-15, and all the lava lakes you blast into. Enchantments are actually really easy to get if you know the trick.
I actually never use the TNT method. I tested all 3 methods out and the TNT was indeed the fastest. But by the time that I’m able to have that amount of TNT, I already have enough ancient debris. And blasting through the netherrack with a pickaxe is actually very satisfying indeed😊
@@TheMineMentor Oh yeah it's for sure faster when you actually do it. But to get everything, craft it all, and go back and forth lighting them, when you factor all that in it's honestly not even worth it. For survival mode, E3-5 pickaxe is far superior any day.

@@TheMineMentor Yes it's actually a bit too OP... I find netherite, eventually quartz to repair the pick with the xp.. probably easier to get netherite with this method then diamond on mines. I'd use TNT but I currently don't have any deserts nearby to afford it, and don't want to spoil the beaches

You mean the X and Z? Because Y is vertically, so that one is not relevant for chunkborders. As long as you can devide both the X level through 16 and the Z level through 16, you are on a chunkborder. It doesn’t matter if they are positive or negative or if they are both a different number. In Survival we could use peaceful difficulty for raiding bastion but it will not be the fun challenge
Yes that’s true. It’s quite a challenge the first times you’re entering a bastion. But the reward is feeling extra good when you do it without switching to peaceful mode.

Guys he's absolutely right, bed's the most cheap and best way to find ancient debris,with 5 shulker boxes full of beds i finded like total of 16 netherite ingots, that's pretty fair i guess

Use a gold helmet and the pigs won't attack you. They will attack you if they are close to you when opening chests.
That only counts for the normal piglins. The piglin brutes will always attack you.

Yes indeed! I find them one of the most difficult enemies. Because they can attack you together and it’s difficult to run away or hide from them when you are inside the bastion.

The best way is flying in lava with elytra
I actually tried doing that with fire resistance, but you cannot see anything because of the fire animation. I also tried it in spectator mode where you can see under lava, but it’s not that great. At least from what I’ve tried.

U know that quartz ore gives u xp when mined. So with mending mentioned in the video repairs ur tool with xp
Thanks for your reply temujino! You need indeed a pickaxe with a mending enchantment on it. When you use a tool or armor with mending, it will repair itself with the xp that you’re collecting.
