  • I have started saying "and now I collect the thrashes" loudly to myself everytime I start to clean and it instantly makes my motivation rise by several levels! Cleaning is something I struggle enormously with and this little sweet routine has actually made it so much easier.

    • Something I discovered just this week after getting it during the pandemic is the power of steam!! I got a steam mop in quarantine since it disinfects and wasn’t that into it. Had it out to steam clothes earlier this week and ended up using it to clean mirrors and glass EASILY and tackle the kitchen cabinets that have dried coffee and bits of oranges from the juicer. Have tried before with sprays and elbow grease and it was such a pain. The steam just melts it off and it’s so easy to then wipe it down. Obsessed!! Helpful with hard water stains too

  • As someone who suffered (& still does!) from depression, I wish, someone would have done the same for me, when it got THAT bad! Sleeping through the day and being active throughout the night is something, I'll never forget. We not only hide from our problems while sleeping through the day, we also hide from people and any responsibility, like work, going shopping for food or meeting the family. because at night time, there's no pressure. No one is awake. So you can sit and overthink everything. Where did it go wrong? What happened, that I'm living in this horrible situation? I'm still in recovery and learning. I hope, Jake gets the help he needs. Thank you, Auri. For helping people out in need.

Not a very deep book but the author said something that gave me a moment of power. He said that a big cloud can trick us into believing it is endless but it never is. The sky is always bigger. And the cloud can never exist without the sky but the sky can exist without the cloud. That cloud is depression and you are the sky. You're stronger than you think and I am proud of you for still being here and being so open about a dark time in your life! Sending you a huge and tight hug! 🤗

  • I have ethics class in school and we recently discussed how according to the Phylosopher Kant doing good by duty is the only true doing good because it has no intent of doing good for yourself. And your videos just proof this theory wrong for me. I don’t understand how helping others(e.g. by cleaning your followers home) because you just love doing what others need help at is not as good. Being able to feel good when you literally don’t do anything for yourself is to me the truest form of a good deed(and to me defines a “good” person). And I just love how positive you are and how you don’t shame others for struggling with something you find so pleasant. I'm almost tempted to say because they're always so satisfying to watch and of course, it's a 'happy ending.' But maybe it's more like...IRL, if you just start somewhere, and take things one at a time, things will get better and fall into place as you go along, and if you do your best to keep your heart light and full of good things (and sustain yourself with good-vibe music), then the end result will be something especially beautiful. • After months of neglecting the fridge and cabinets, I cleaned the cabinets last week and organized them. It’s amazing to open them and find what I need in 2 seconds! And today I cleaned the fridge. Took all the shelving and containers out and washed them thoroughly. It looks so nice! Next week I plan to tackle the freezer and patio. We will see how well my mental health is doing by then, but I’m glad I’m able to keep my bedroom clean almost everyday! Thank you Auri for helping me get the strength and motivation I needed to get out of this mental fog of hating cleaning. I love it now. It’s so fun ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ As a backstory, I was kicked out of an apartment a few years ago. My apartment wasn’t as bad as some of the ones you take care of, but it wasn’t good. My sister and I cleaned the apartment and made so clean, Auri would be proud. But it wasn’t enough to impress the landlords and ultimately they decided to evict us. We were able to move to another apartment after paying 3x the normal deposit and 1st month rent. We tried harder to keep this place clean. We didn’t want to get kicked out. But it left that nasty scar. I was always on edge, am I going to get kicked out from this place too? The dishes haven’t been done. And my clothes are on the floor. There’s some empty cans on the coffee table. Is that enough for the maintenance people to take pictures and get us kicked out? It was constant constant worrying and anxiety which made me feel sad and depressed. Ashamed and worthless. We did keep up the apartment well, and made the decision to leave to live in a house. I moved back in with my mother to help take care of her and my sister moved in with friends. Thank you if you read any of this. You are a blessing and loved and you worth a lot!

My place got out of control ( in my point of view, it was still pretty clean and organized 😉) Because of my many months of pain I fall into a depression that did effected my life. I can’t imagine how those people must suffer in their situation. You are so inspirational to me. After my recovery I will start doing something similar that’s you are doing. At least once a month if I help one person It’ll make changes. I understand that KZhead is your busses now. But it doesn’t matter, you deserve every penny plus you giving a lot back ( bedding, supplies, food) The psychological help you giving to the people is priceless ! Many cleaning companies would not do the cleaning job even for a triple of their charges. Got bless you! Keep doing what you doing. When you start your own family things will change. But now you have a power to get more people involved to help others worldwide!

    • Your parents are offering to help because they love you and want you to be your best self. Please remember this and please allow them to help you. Then you can make them even more proud by keeping it clean. Host dinner once a week or once a month so it pushes you to keep it clean. Don't do it all at once. It didn't get dirty in a day, it don't get clean in a day. Do small areas at a time. Don't put so much pressure on yourself. I go through these moments too but doing small areas at a time has cleaned all but one room where I shove everything I'm not sure of and need to sell so now I only have one room to worry about and I will start tackling that this week. Put on some good music, go for a walk before to raise endorphins. Having a clean home really helps the clutter in our depressed and anxiety ridden minds. You may even find it helps your anxiety!!! You've got this!! Stay strong
