@@galaxyknuckles9000 basically only using the second stage evolution pokemon of the ones that can evolve 3 times. So an example primplup, kirlia, machoke and metapod would be your team

2nd stage is fully evolved so the 1st stage evolution is something like charmeleon

Something that would be hard, would be a normal type hardcore nuzlocke in pokemon black/white, you could have 7 or 8 encounters I believe

@@pavlox8099 I'm not too familiar with BW1 level caps, but dont you get a new level cap for Ghetsis since you can leave and heal before him and N? if so, you get a cap of 54 so you can get Braviary.

I know it's been two months but if what happened with Roark happens again for another run, I honestly think that violating the level cap (as long as it's not by too much, so like 16 in this case) in order to make it actually possible is fine. Cuz it would still be a big challenge to only have one pokemon, especially the glass cannon kadabra. It's more about the strategy and challenge of the run instead of following the rule set :3
Psychic was one of the types I was super interested in to play a hardcore nuzlocke with in BDSP, but the fact that it's actually impossible to do it without cheesing the first badge by either ignoring the level cap or changing the encounters around kinda put me off it... But you know what F it, i'll do one anyway some time soon :)

Oddly enough, I had thought about using chimecho potentially to setup a sweep for cynthia on my own nuzlocke as well, because it learns screens alongside yawn and spiritomb with only attacking moves is good setup fodder.
The way that FlygonHG won his Emerald Psychic-only challenge with only a Ralts for the first gym, was that he used Struggle strats, since Ralts only has Growl before level 14 (the level cap). That's how he managed to avoid skipping any Gym Leaders. I don't know if Abra could have survived that with Roark, but then again, Abra doesn't exactly survive a LOT xD That's how I'll ask my gf to sleep with me; "ayyy, gurl, u wanna see my Palkia??" x'D I'll record how long it takes for me to be single again XD Also, I would LOVE to see a hardcore nuzlocke of HG/SS using only Dark types! :P I wonder if that's doable XD

Abra has 25 , 20 ,15 while ralts has 28,25,25 stats in hp , attack and defence respectively Also , struggle did half recoil of damage done to the opponent in gen 3 while now it does 25% no matter what So abra wouldn't have won

for your next locke, maybe a steel mono, since you've been able to use Infernape in your Fighting type and Torterra in your ground type, you can get bastiodon in sp, or if you allow trades, you can get scizor in bd, so either version counts.

I love your videos so much, AntlerBoy! Personally, I would have gone for Jirachi over Mew because its level-up move set is much better, whereas Mew only gives you one move every ten levels. Plus, the steel type neutralises damage from Bug types and gives you a bunch of other resistances. But it makes sense that you'd want to use Mew! And different people make different choices! Besides, Jirachi is weak to Garchomp's Earthquake, plus Bertha's Team. I wonder what would have happened if you chose Jirachi? I love your Nuzlockes, and the amazing strategies and jokes you make! Keep it up!

Do a bdsp nuzlocke with only Pokémon that can evolve into 2 things eg: Kirlia can evolve into gardevoir or gallade, since Cynthia is in the game you can evolve them into the final stage, whichever you choose

Palkia being water works with the states of matter gimmick of the trio. Dialga is solid, Palkia is liquid, and Giratina is anti matter.
@@e-tan3911 Yet... Dialga is a Special attacker and Giratina is a Physical attacker...? And even then Lugia is all about *the ocean* Edit: Not a Physical attacker, a Mixed attacker who's special Move, Shadow Force, is physical and as such works best on a Physical build
@@kirbyfreakyt4695 their stats don't mean anything. Considering they all manipulate the time space continuum, they should all be special attackers, but they aren't. Pearls are found underwater, and the reverse world is the antithesis to the actual world, where giratina was banished because he causes too much destruction. Dialga being solid is obvious, as he is a diamond, which is pretty obviously a solid.
@@e-tan3911 Yes, so Dialga could be a mixed attacker with access to a Physical Dragon type Giga Impact and strong physical moves. It's the generation for those shenanagins to happen, Physical Special split happened in Gen 4... And yet nothing. Giratina I can kind of understand, antimatter and all that so he's as Physical as he is Special... But Palkia is just a Dialga with less Special Attack. It used to have less weaknesses before Fairy came around, I guess...?
