Pokémon Sword Hardcore Nuzlocke - Ice Type Pokémon Only! (No items, No overleveling)

Can I beat a Pokemon Hardcore Nuzlocke challenge in Sword and shield using only Ice types? Also, should I stream Legends: Arceus? Thinking about doing it.

Nuzlocke rules:
Fainted Pokemon must be permanently boxed
Only the first encounter on any given route may be caught (dupes clause)
All pokemon must be nicknamed
Hardcore Rules:
No items in battle (only held)
No overleveling the next gym leader
Make sure you tell me what Nuzlocke challenge you want to see next. Sun and Moon, Black and White? Specific types? Let me know.

    • But also a sad reality. The ice cream machines being broken is due to the franchise contract saying that X bad ice cream machine needs to be used. It is designed to fail, and the contractors hired to fix them are either under the McDonald's company or have a partnership with McDonald's. It's a system designed to milk money from a franchisee and keep their lives just that bit more stressful. Gotta love big corporations.

  • Just commenting out there, the hand to the elbow is actually the way to give a hand in Taekwondo. The hand goes under the outstrechted one and us a sign of respect.

    • As a black belt in taekwondoe I can confirm. When shaking another one’s hand you put one arm below as respect for the another. It is traditionally done when greeting or saying goodbye to someone. It is also used at the end of sparring matches as well.

    • Try out Radical Red. It's a rom hack that's built for competitive playing and mono type runs. I've already done Dark, Normal, Fighting, and Psychic. It's very easy to get those early types. The game is hard though depending on the settings you choose so pay attention to what you set it to.

  • I think my favorite ice type has to be kyurem, I played through Pokémon white absolutely blind, and thought this mysterious powerful ice dragon in the chasm I was exploring was cool, then when it got more lore and importance in the sequel it became cooler, it’s easily up there with giratina origin form and darkrai as some of my favorite legendary Pokémon

  • Cold puns aside, I happen to be a big fan of the Vanilluxe line, and not just because they look like ice cream. They have good Special stats, they learn Mirror Shot and Flash Cannon for coverage, and they have Ice Body for hail regeneration.

  • I really love these videos - the voice and the humor just are something different. Especially today, with Keegan and flygon. I loved it. This, combined with the amazing strategies and fun runs make this one one of my favorite and definitely most underappreciated pokemon channels out there.

  • Congrats on the full bingo board of monotype runs! My favorite Ice-type is Mamoswine, it carried me so hard in HG/SS, even putting in work against Red. Frosslass, always named Mizore because Culture, is great too, fighting immunity is a nice thing with an ice team. Alolan Ninetales is appreciated too, I like Ninetails in general, especially its shiny, but Alola's form is just so majestic.

  • After my first playthrough of Shining Pearl, my favorite Ice-type is Mamoswine tied with Weavile. Edit: Seeing hail falling during a Gordie fight is kinda trippy after having played Shield so much.

  • Bea holds her arm like that BECAUSE she is a martial artist. It is a way to show and signify trust and respect. We used that style of handshake when I used to practice Taekwondo.

  • I love your Nuzlockes, and the concept of the runs in general, but I think SwSh seems like the easiest of any of the games. You have access to so many pokemon for the type you choose compared to other generations.

  • I suggest you do a fighting type nuzlocke of legends arcues due to introduction of great pokemon like sneasler, lilligant and decidueye. Or a normal, poison or grass type nuzlocke

  • Glaceon is my favorite Eeveelution, and if I have the opportunity to evolve Eevee into that, I will. Her Special attacks hit like a friggin' freight train in later games that have better SpA moves, she's surprisingly tanky, and oh, she's goddang adorable.
