He’s so cute! Boxers are known for talking well arguing with their owners. & the more you train them the more they will talk to you. It’s a teenager in a dogs body. As far as weight, he’s lean & he’s at a good weight. Medium to xlarge dogs have a lot of joint troubles as they get older because they seem to put on weight just like humans. So just sit back & enjoy a sweet boy.

I have a female Bullboxer Pit who is like that. She will communicate what she wants. I'll put my arms out and ask her what she wants, and she'll lead me to whatever (usually her treats, but sometimes she does it when she wants outside, to go to bed, to play, walkies, when we've left the garage door open accidentally, or she wants more water), but she will definitely let me know what she wants. Very stubborn, but very smart and loving.

Great family dog. Had a friend watch my kid and dog while my wife and I went out to dinner. My boxer was very familiar with the babysitter. Still, he did not go and relax until we got back home. He just sat and watched the baby sitter with my daughter. When we got home, he knew he was 'off duty' and could relax. Awesome.

The owner clearly loves his dog. I've got boxers and I've got friends who have boxers. You really can't treat them like dogs, they're little people, they do understand. He probably started the argument lol boxers box... they really really do, if they don't get their way sometimes they'll walk up and hit you... hard. It hurts, playing with my boxer I've been bruised multiple times. So he may have actually needed to say sorry lol they are so vocal, no barking just to bark, they whine, woo, and bark. Only when they want or need to tell you something. My boxer and I regularly have arguments at night about when it's time to go to bed... it sounds just like this until one of us gives up lol they're just having a conversation.

Jessica, I thought I was the only one with a boxer like this. He is not quite 2, and I have bruises all over the top of my legs. When he isn't getting enough attention (or what HE thinks isn't enough) he will lunge towards me, like a body slam. He is about 50 lbs., so he's very forceful. He stands on his hind legs and boxes me. And it hurts. He talks, it sounds the same as in this video. If he has to go out, or if he wants anything, he lets me know. And the "psycho dog" is just hysterical. You know how they run around after a bath? He does this several times a day. As he's going around me in a circle, he'll be going in smaller circles. Like the Earth rotating. As he does this, he's jumping like a rabbit, I've never seen anything like it. It takes quite a bit to get him tired, but when he does get tired, he sleeps like a baby.

God,this makes me miss my Boxer,Bonnie,lol. We'd have discussions like this..argue..and then we come to a consensus that she had been right all along,j/k. While Boxers are not a dog I'd recommend for first time dog owners, or ppl who can't gently put their foot down, I will say they have truly earned the nickname "the clown geniuses of the dog world". I got Bonnie after doing tons of research on the breed, and she got me through my grandparents dying,and my divorce before she suffered a stroke and had to be helped over the Rainbow Bridge by our vet. As George Carlin said "Life is a series of dogs",and Bonnie is one of my heart dogs.

I have a boxador rescue but I am telling you she has to be mostly boxer! She is full of attitude - very smart but very stubborn. When you talk to her she will talk back ! But she is a sweet heart that loves her family and a big baby - it's all loves and hugs and snuggles - otherwise we have to deal with the theatrics 🤣

My parents currently have one male boxer. Since early 2005, they’ve been through a lot of pet boxers, many of which were rescues, but the very first one we adopted was our first of two female ones we’ve had since then. (Not at the same time.) In fact the second female one was a rescue and just recently was put to sleep. But we had a lot of male ones with H names. Luke is just adorable!❤

Eliza Raffles lol my Duece aka Duecey Boy past at 10 years old only a month ago and I miss my baby boy everyday. He was so hilarious, he was a talker too. Told u when he needed something and if u ask him something he'd answer you bck. Yeah that's the hardest part of pet ownership is when you lose them. There are so many that need homes and these guys it's hard to have another breed after a boxer. They are wonderful. 101 wow that is a HUGE boxer. !!!!!

The other night we were at my mother in laws, she told us she wanted to go to sleep for the night so she asked if we could go home. She will ask us to turn on her favorite music in the car too. My last boxer had lymphoma, I felt so bad and sad, remember leaving the vets office devastated and he died a few months after. The whole process left me sad and he wasn't eating that much. My boxer before that had epilepsy for 2 years, diagnosed at 4 years, he died when he was 6 😢 we had to put him to sleep. I love them I don't think I could go through the pain of losing another

UzeHerName they use them like hands. Try sitting in the floor petting them in a spot they like (my girl is the inside of her legs), once they're into it just stop. they will guide your arm back to about where you were petting before, they will hit something out of your hands with precision lol if they're around another boxer, it will run up to it and literally punch it in the side/ shoulder/ face with complete precision. lol oh and let's not forget the boxing... lol they play different than other breeds, often times they'll be up on their hind legs boxing eachother knocking eachother onto the ground, because they use their arms/hands so much they're quite sturdy on there feet (hind legs) if a ball gets caught under a couch and they can reach it, they will curl their paw and first joint around it to pull it towards them... where as most other breeds would just bat it away or not even try lol When Lemmy's toys gets under the couch while were sitting watching tv... "can she get it or did it go too far?" by the time we're done asking eachother that she's either got it out or is staring at us and then pointing to where it is. In bed, she sleeps under the covers and will sometimes pull the covers up using her paws, not her teeth... some days I'll look at her and feel shocked that she's a dog, for just a split second.

As far as weight, he’s lean & he’s at a good weight. Medium to xlarge dogs have a lot of joint troubles as they get older because they seem to put on weight just like humans. I have a female Bullboxer Pit who is like that. She will communicate what she wants. I'll put my arms out and ask her what she wants, and she'll lead me to whatever (usually her treats, but sometimes she does it when she wants outside, to go to bed, to play, walkies, when we've left the garage door open accidentally, or she wants more water), but she will definitely let me know what she wants. Very stubborn, but very smart and loving.
Great family dog. Had a friend watch my kid and dog while my wife and I went out to dinner. My boxer was very familiar with the babysitter. Still, he did not go and relax until we got back home. He just sat and watched the baby sitter with my daughter. When we got home, he knew he was 'off duty' and could relax. Awesome.

The owner clearly loves his dog. I've got boxers and I've got friends who have boxers. You really can't treat them like dogs, they're little people, they do understand. He probably started the argument lol boxers box... they really really do, if they don't get their way sometimes they'll walk up and hit you... hard. It hurts, playing with my boxer I've been bruised multiple times. So he may have actually needed to say sorry lol they are so vocal, no barking just to bark, they whine, woo, and bark. Only when they want or need to tell you something. My boxer and I regularly have arguments at night about when it's time to go to bed... it sounds just like this until one of us gives up lol they're just having a conversation.
Jessica, I thought I was the only one with a boxer like this. He is not quite 2, and I have bruises all over the top of my legs. When he isn't getting enough attention (or what HE thinks isn't enough) he will lunge towards me, like a body slam. He is about 50 lbs., so he's very forceful. He stands on his hind legs and boxes me. And it hurts. He talks, it sounds the same as in this video. If he has to go out, or if he wants anything, he lets me know. And the "psycho dog" is just hysterical. You know how they run around after a bath? He does this several times a day. As he's going around me in a circle, he'll be going in smaller circles. Like the Earth rotating. As he does this, he's jumping like a rabbit, I've never seen anything like it. It takes quite a bit to get him tired, but when he does get tired, he sleeps like a baby.
Lemmy's about 47lbs, they can definitely knock us around lol we have taught her to be polite but when its play time.. it's all game :)

God,this makes me miss my Boxer,Bonnie,lol. We'd have discussions like this..argue..and then we come to a consensus that she had been right all along,j/k. While Boxers are not a dog I'd recommend for first time dog owners, or ppl who can't gently put their foot down, I will say they have truly earned the nickname "the clown geniuses of the dog world". I got Bonnie after doing tons of research on the breed, and she got me through my grandparents dying,and my divorce before she suffered a stroke and had to be helped over the Rainbow Bridge by our vet. As George Carlin said "Life is a series of dogs",and Bonnie is one of my heart dogs.

We had a boxer when I was little, and she LOVED shoes. She would push my dad down when he was trying to mow and she would take his shoe off and somehow get it on the roof of our building lol.

Our boxer Taz was such a sweetheart. He rarely listened to me, but always listened to my husband. 😂I’m assuming because I let him do whatever he wanted to do. When my mom would come over and he was being naughty, he would talk back so much😂 He was such a sassy thing yet so loveable❤

The dog is not abused. Boxers are sensitive ,gentle and highly responsive. The guy's tone of voice makes the Boxer feel like he's being scolded, nothing more.
Boxers are incredible, I had to put my Sully down 2 months ago and just ripped my heart out. This one is a typical boxer, if you have one you know what I mean.

I have a boxador rescue but I am telling you she has to be mostly boxer! She is full of attitude - very smart but very stubborn. When you talk to her she will talk back ! But she is a sweet heart that loves her family and a big baby - it's all loves and hugs and snuggles - otherwise we have to deal with the theatrics 🤣

My parents currently have one male boxer. Since early 2005, they’ve been through a lot of pet boxers, many of which were rescues, but the very first one we adopted was our first of two female ones we’ve had since then. (Not at the same time.) In fact the second female one was a rescue and just recently was put to sleep. But we had a lot of male ones with H names. Luke is just adorable!❤

Yeah that's the hardest part of pet ownership is when you lose them. There are so many that need homes and these guys it's hard to have another breed after a boxer. They are wonderful. 101 wow that is a HUGE boxer. !!!!!

We have a female boxer 'Roxy" who is almost identical to Luke. Thank you for going to the effort of putting up these videos. We love every one of them. Roxy and my wife and I watch them on our computer. We can't get over how similar Roxy is to your dogs in their actions. Once again THANKYOU!

I love boxers but the problem is they all seem to get cancer. I have lost 2 to it. I don't think I can go through that again.
reg profant any breed have dog is susceptible to cancer. pure breeds are more likely to get cancer than mutts.

My last boxer had lymphoma, I felt so bad and sad, remember leaving the vets office devastated and he died a few months after. The whole process left me sad and he wasn't eating that much. My boxer before that had epilepsy for 2 years, diagnosed at 4 years, he died when he was 6 😢 we had to put him to sleep. I love them I don't think I could go through the pain of losing another

UzeHerName they use them like hands. Try sitting in the floor petting them in a spot they like (my girl is the inside of her legs), once they're into it just stop. they will guide your arm back to about where you were petting before, they will hit something out of your hands with precision lol if they're around another boxer, it will run up to it and literally punch it in the side/ shoulder/ face with complete precision. lol oh and let's not forget the boxing... lol they play different than other breeds, often times they'll be up on their hind legs boxing eachother knocking eachother onto the ground, because they use their arms/hands so much they're quite sturdy on there feet (hind legs) if a ball gets caught under a couch and they can reach it, they will curl their paw and first joint around it to pull it towards them... where as most other breeds would just bat it away or not even try lol When Lemmy's toys gets under the couch while were sitting watching tv... "can she get it or did it go too far?" by the time we're done asking eachother that she's either got it out or is staring at us and then pointing to where it is. In bed, she sleeps under the covers and will sometimes pull the covers up using her paws, not her teeth... some days I'll look at her and feel shocked that she's a dog, for just a split second.
